Celestia is gone. The Capitol remains as the leaders of Equestria. Equestria is now divided into 12 districts, and every year the Capitol takes one mare and one stallion from each district to be trained and then to be entered into the Pony Games.

Twilight Sparkle has come to Cloudsdale to rescue her friends from the clutches of Lord Sombra, utterly unprepared for the fight in which she will find herself. I do not own Star Wars, nor do I own My Little Pony.

The crystal caves underneath Canterlot have been leaking a mysterious substance ever since Twilight and Cadence were trapped within them. After analysis, the chemical is said to be the very embodiment of magic. It is safe enough for use in experiments in schooling, and is shipped to schools all around Equestria.

Shining Shard's class is working on these experiments. An arrogant unicorn in charge of purifying the chemical slips up, causing Shard's experiment to blow up in his face.

Ten years after the accident, Shard has recovered and regained his lost sight. With a well toned body and a bright future ahead of him, he'll try to make the best of what he has.

This a story I've had on my mind for a while, and it's only now that it's being brought out. Thank you to whoever reads this story.

The first chapter is the prologue, which is going to explain a lot of things before I actually start the main plot of the story.

Soarin' can get into a lot of random situations. Whether it can be eating too many pies, joking on his friends, hanging around Spitfire. It is endless.

But perhaps he can get into something beyond what he could imagine, something that goes beyond his Wonderbolt career, his military rank, his friends, his family, the mare he loves.

And that 'something' could be close to him, too close to him when it might appear staring at him at his bedside when he's asleep in the middle of the night, and it doesn't look to resemble pony. But this anomaly also appears to be lurking within his family.
