An average day morning in Ponyville had just been turned on its head when an unexplained carnival appeared on the edge of town. Nopony is quite sure what to make of it, but it seemed like a lot of fun. Of course, our Ponyville heroes decide to get involved in the festivities and shenanigans ensues as strange magic starts to affect them all in different ways.

Kurt Smith, a classmate of John Radderson aka Twilight Sparkle's, agreed to help Twilight after she came to school with purple fur, hooves, wings, and a horn. After acquiring the Elements of Harmony, Twilight's friends end up becoming anthropomorphic versions of the Mane 6 and Spike the Dragon, Twilight's faithful assistant. Together, they will solve the mysteries of friendship in their new lives and in the lives of others. Kurt ends up becoming connected to the Element of Honesty, transforming him into Applejack. AJ enrolls at school under the name "Ashley J. Smith".

Story starts before season one where Twilight is still in Canterlot. This Equestria is not as tecnologically advanced as in the show.

I was just a normal deadbeat. I had trouble keeping a job, even through I didn't have many personal issues that would caused me such troubles, and I didn't have many friends. So, in short, there's really nothing special about me.

But that all changed when the security firm I worked for was hired for an extra muscle at a Con. I don't clearly remembered what happened next, but I awoke to find myself in a world not my own, with a body not my own, but luck was with me, as a party was going on. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to join in as the party was rudely crushed by some uninvited guests.

Now it was up to me to save the day, learn why I'm here and why I have these new powers and body. But on the bright side, I may finally get a family I so long desired.

The citizens of Equestria are no strangers to the strange and unusual, especially when it comes to the Everfree Forest. So when the most dangerous creatures start mysteriously dying no one thinks it's unusual. In fact some believe there's someone or something protecting them. The ones who do call it 'the guardian' and speculate as to what it is. But all it is, is just a human who watches over Ponyville's inhabitants who wander in to the forest, and keeps hidden to protect himself. However everything changes when he meets an injured little filly named Applebloom.

I had fallen off of my Scooter at full speed and injured myself.

Thankfully my friends managed to help me back home, but we had to face Twilight Sparkle on the way there.

Here is the thing, she managed to help me enough to get me back to school the next day, but this is where something went a bit sideways.

Apparently she is a bit shaky on exactly how much power she puts into certain spells. Maybe it is an aftereffect on having the combined power of four Alicorns at her disposal, as brief as the experience had been.

It's Halloween, and everybody is excited for another year of nabbing endless candies at absolutely no charge. My childhood friend, Jalyssa, has me try on a costume of Rainbow Dash. The only problem is...you can't take it off, once you put it on.
