Changeling Drone 9417 had a month-long assignment for a minor spy mission in Ponyville leading up to the Canterlot invasion. He deviated from normal operating procedure a bit then found out the hard way why changelings aren’t supposed to do that. After his body absorbed too much magic during the attack it triggered a permanent transformation that’s left him forever in the form of the pegasus disguise he was previously using. Now a pony called Cloud Breaker he'll try and put his life back on track with the help of his former roomates Sunny Rays and Serenity...

Fluttershy never wanted to be anything powerful or great. She was an ordinary pegasus. Her only special talent was getting along with animals.

She wasn't a strong flier or gifted in magic. She could barely speak in front of a crowd.

But she is special. Unless Fluttershy can understand her own nature, she won't be able to save her friends. Even if she succeeds, nothing will be the same again.

This story is a sequel to A Changeling's Test

Being an apprentice to Queen Chrysalis isn't as easy as it sounds. It is especially difficult if you were also taught about the dangers of making friends. Well her apprentice Sclerite breaks the friendship rule and must now do whatever he can to save his new friend. It certainly isn't going to be easy when there is also a Buffalo stampede to factor in.

While out on a cutie mark crusade, the Crusaders happen upon a lone changeling on the edges of the Everfree Forest. After a scuffle the changeling finds itself injured and trapped in Ponyville. Seeing an opportunity to earn their cutie marks the girls take the changeling in, planning to teach it about Equestria.

However what they don't know is the changeling is actually the Commander to the Changeling Empire, and he has his own plans in mind.

But soon events play out for the four as they endure the aftermath of the Canterlot Invasion, and perhaps toughest of all: Each other. Lessons are learned and stories are shared between one another, leading the changeling to question its motives, and itself. Leading it to ask the biggest question of all:

"Can creatures that's special talent is to change its appearance, change in other ways...?"

Here I am, thrown in as a changling Queen far before the Canterlot invasion, watch as I- A: make my whole race terrified of me B: overthrow a changeling god! C: die, a lot. D: all of the above.
