In Equestria Humans are creatures that are things of legends. Stories are passed over the generations about a human that emerged from the forest over 1000 years ago. The human in these stories is an evil creature who prey on innocent ponies. But to the ponies they are just that: stories. No one really believes that story until a human shows up again. The ponies of Equestria are scared of the human but soon some warm up to his presence. After all humans have changed in 1000 years.

Growing up as the only pony without a cutie mark is more than embarrassing; as a full grown stallion with a bare flank, he feels ostracized and alone. He decides to leave his home and finally find his destiny in the world. Ending up in Ponyville, he discovers for himself an age old truth—it isn't what people can see on the outside that matters most...

In ANM 993, a rumor of a group called ' Assassins ', who were supposedly a secret force set up by Celestia.

This Rumor was more real then many believed, and eventually the rumors changed to one Assassin.

Little did anyone know a human, under order of Princess Celestia, sent to Ponyville, his hometown where his bullying and teasing commenced, but also where his childhood crush on a orange mare. Was carrying robes with some metallic weapons in them.

A.N. yes, I know, this is another "human in Equestria" story...

It's been 5 years since the The War. This is the first historical account of it, including eyewitness accounts from both sides of the war.

9 years ago humanity returned from it's self-imposed exile and started what became known as The Human War. That war changed the face of Equesteria forever. Now, after 5 years of tentative peace, it is time to tell the story of what the war was and why it was fought.

My first fic. Go nuts with criticism cause most likely the only one I ever write, unless I get another idea stuck in my head and it refuses to leave without writing it. It also lacks definite "main character". After The War parts just to show glimpses of post-war life, they are not suppose to connect to main chapters anyway, apart from the first one.

Also, in case you wonder that someone is commented on being dead in After The War parts but is not mentioned in main fic, well, history books tent to focus on major actions. They don't name every single dead soldier and usually jsut mention major battles, leaving smaller skirmishes out.

You are a human in a time were you are either a slave or a status symbol. You are different as you are small and your eyes are of two different colors. You were insulted by everypony who looked at you, including other humans. It's a sad reality you live. Hoping that one kind soul will bring you out of this hellish cell. Cage. Call it whatever. You'd rather be a slave.
At least they eat better.

For centuries, the Crystal Mountains has been a natural frontier for the northern border of Equestria, protecting the pony kind from the world beyond it. A world completly unknown.

Long ago, something from that world came to Equestria. Groups of a strange race of apes landed in the coast with their ships to loot and kill everything at their sight. For decades the pony kind suffered the attacks of these tall monsters full of rage and searchers of glory, they were known as......humans.

But one day they stopped coming, and during centuries ponies took their stories as myth, as something that ever existed or really happened.

Until a princess of the sun finds a crib with something inside....

Matthew Williams, a citizen of New York City, leads a pretty good life, an alright job, a nice place. Sure, he has dreams and aspirations like the normal humans of the earth, but he was rather content at the moment. That all changes, when six ponies drop right on his head, and soon finds himself in a variety of situations that will spin his life in all different directions.
