Twilight Sparkle is now Princess Twilight Sparkle and she's successfully rescued Sergeant Lyra Heartstrings from spreading herself too thin into early burnout in Canterlot—by ordering everypony who might have some claim to the mare's time to surrender her at their earliest opportunity.

It's a new life for Lyra Heartstrings, a new set of responsibilities, and a new princess to serve. Now she just needs to survive Ponyville to fully enjoy this new future.

Never has either side dared to breach this uneasy peace, and thus each continues to survive- perhaps even begin to flourish after so many dark years of struggle they had endured.

All this, and they find themselves at the very START in S1 ep1, the very first scene. Sometimes knowing EXACTLY what's going to happen doesn't make things any easier... particularly when your entire reference for knowledge is a smart alec kid who you're not sure even wants to get home....

Twilight's been having weird, unfamiliar urges ever since she became an alicorn. Like an intense desire to grow flowers, or the fact she can't stop chewing on her wings when she's distracted. As it turns out, you can't just suddenly inherit the magic of all three pony tribes without getting the instincts to match, and instincts can be a powerful thing. Doubly so when you're not used to them, and especially when they're telling you that your best friend with the gorgeous wings would make the perfect partner to share a nest with.

Fluttershy has always been a timid, reserved girl. Being so quiet, she hasn't been able to get a good job or confess her feelings to her since forever crush. Her life hasn't been going anywhere, and she has only recently been able to move out of her parents house and into a crappy, rundown place at the edge of town. Upon moving in, she learns that the house is haunted by seven demons that represent the seven deadly sins, and they want to help her get her life on track.

This story takes place right before "Bridle Gossip"

Early one morning, Equestria wakes up to hundreds of ponies turning into cows, including the princesses themselves. Despite their bovine state, Princess Celestia and Luna, along with Princess Cadance, Shining Armor Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Twilight, try to keep the peace and learn to deal with their new lives while researching any possible cure. Meanwhile, Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy go on an adventure looking for a mysterious zebra named Zecora, who may hold the key to turning them back into ponies.
