Years later in all honesty I'm not happy with this story or how I ultimately wrote it. The only reason I don't delete it is because it got featured and because so many folks have it in their bookshelves already.

Oh, I suppose I should introduce myself, this story is about me, I guess. The name's Cain. Nice to meet ya.
Now, getting to the point of why I sent this out. Ya see, a few months ago, I had a rather unsettling experience. My mind was ripped from my body on Earth and transported to wherever it is our beloved Equestria lies. Normally, this would be nothing to worry about, as it seems to happen all the time, but frankly, this time was different. Instead of being sent to Equestria as a human, or nay, a pony, my mind was placed inside the body of an Equestrian.

Unfortunately for me, it happened to be Diamond Tiara.

I thought it was going to be a normal Sunday morning. Boy, was I wrong. Not even out of my bed I discover that I am now Rainbow Dash... and I'm still on Earth. In wake of my sudden change, I try to handle the situation with my knowledge gained from the fandom, my inner brony writer helping me along the way. My name is Rainbow Dash and today I learned something new. I learned I'm actually a changeling. You'd think that would be something you would already know. Life pretty much sucked. I had little to no friends, failing pretty much all classes in school. My parents abuse me and to make it worse they are my only family. That means I'm kinda stuck with them. The only good things in my life are my Video Games and my remaining dignity. After being humiliated in front of the entire school one day. I decided to end my life and make the pain stop. Right as I am about to end it all. There is a knock on the door and I go to see who it is. No one was there and strange scroll laid on the door mat. I unfurl it to read "It is time to come home, brother".

Ok... All I did was sleep a little in class! I mean, I'm a genius! I don't need to pay attention! I had no idea anything was going to happen! All of a sudden the world around me and my freaking body dissappear after some freak bitch tried to EAT ME and I'm stuck in the crazy world inhabited only by TALKING PONIES! Not to mention they TURNED ME INTO ONE OF THEM! Although the wings are pretty fucking awesome! Regardless they tell me I'm gonna be here a while, so I might as well get comfortable...

Boring life. Boring job. Boring friends. Would I trade it all away for a new life in a new world?

Hell no.

Do I get a choice in the matter?

Fat chance.
