As winter falls upon Ponyville, Dusk Shine begins to research pony folklore to discover more about old traditions suiting the season. Little did he know that what he was about to find out would open a Pandora's Box worse than any nightmare ponykind had ever dreamt of.

When a pony has lead a long, full life, they grow more and more content towards the end. Such is true for one mare, reflecting on past times with her daughter by her side.

Scootaloo has lived her life out in Ponyville, getting her cutie mark and being the town Mailmare, seemingly stuck in a rut for years. Sweetie Bell has been gone for nearly a year now, becoming a popular singer for "The Bells." One day Scootaloo gets a letter from her old friend saying that she's coming home for a visit...

What was supposed to be my entry in the ScootaBelle Contest: We Got Our Cutie Marks! ...Now What?

Sweetie Belle is falling off a mountain, and there's nopony around that can save her. Finding herself reminiscing about the past, she remembers one regret, that one thing she would have changed in an instant were she given a chance at a do-over. Still, could there perhaps be one glimmer of hope to her situation?

Some mistakes have been made, and some friendships torn and it seems like nothing but sadness will come from them, or at least that's what sweetie belle thinks. She gets some reassurance from a friend in her time of need. Sometimes you need to take two steps back before you can gallop.

Currently in the works of finding a proofreader/editor but if anyone of you lovely people want to offer some help fell free to ask!

Sweetie Belle can't sleep at night unless she cuddles her special blanket; which makes her nervous about an upcoming sleepover. She doesn't want her friends to find out and make fun of her. But if she doesn't have her blanket, how will she ever go to sleep? She accidentally cuddles with somepony instead.

Rewritten on 12/30/14

Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash find out that scootaloo is an orphan and the last remaining pony to be living in her family. Which causes Twilight and Rainbow to adopt the poor filly. From being homeless to having a family, and leading to a life changing scooter accident, Scootaloo's life is gonna take a whole new turn with the help of her two new loving mothers.

Contains: Twidash, Scootadoption, Scootabelle, and cuteness overload.

NOTE: This is a Twidash and a Scootadoption fanfic. and that Twilight and Rainbow are married to eachother and live together. Please also note something serious happens to Scootaloo in ch 5, something totally unexpected and tragic.
