Retiring isn't always easy. Especially when your job title is Evil Overlord. Most of the time retirement from that particular position comes on the sharp end of an opportunistic hero's sword. But Damien didn't survive the past six centuries by playing by the rules. His retirement plans involve running. Running from his country, his continent, and his very universe to escape Fate's long reach. And what better place to run to in an attempt to live peacefully than the utopian land of Equestria?

It is the destruction of Earth. A group of men manage to put together a spaceship to save them from imminent destruction. They travel light years to find a new planet to live on, and when they do, they find something they don't expect to. They end up on Equestria and must find a way to live in peace alongside their new colorful equine neighbors.

It starts out mostly focused on the humans, but I promise it gets to more ponies at the end. Another thing, I update the google docs version first so use that if you want to read more. It is unedited though.

When Fluttershy finds a human in her backyard trying to eat one of her chickens, she and a majority of the residents of Ponyville only want this dangerous creature as far away from their town as possible.

After a less than stellar first impression, Derpy Hooves and the human struggle to quell the rumors surrounding his diet, and convince the townsfolk that he's harmless.

Will the human be able to make himself meek enough to coexist? Or will he be driven out of town with torches and pitchforks?

Each chapter is told from the perspective of a different pony.
