Octavia Melody and Vinyl Scratch are a lovely Manehatten couple and have been together for nearly a year and a half. They are happy and in love, the only problem is Octavia is a changeling. Octavia has been on the run for a long time and just when things are going there best it looks like her past has finally caught up with her. Just yesterday her only problem was her noisy neighbors Lyra and Bon Bon. Kind of based off of the song "The Sameling" with amazing cover art by Gift-Wrap on DeviantArt.com I give you Duel Melody.

In a world where ponies and vamponies co-exist, the lovely Octavia has fallen for the dashing vampony Vinyl Scratch. Can their love survive those who oppose it? The self proclaimed Vampony Hunter Rainbow Dash? And most importantly Vinyl's alter ego, DJ PON3?

Fic is based off the premise set forth in Charlaine Harris' books "The Southern Vampire Mysteries."

Octavia had it all. Well, almost all; she had some money, some fans, some friends, her dream career, but it all lacked something, or someone to be exact. After one of her many concerts she finds herself waiting in line for, what's that? Another concert! Though she might not be the one playing in this one, this is one of the few places where she can relax.

And that is where it all began, on that one night, she found it. But it has a few secrets.

After the disastrous invasion of Canterlot, an injured changeling wakes up near a small cottage and is quickly discovered by two of the last ponies she ever wanted to see. Now, with the help of her new "friends," she has to remain undetected in a town high on changeling hysteria that would not hesitate to throw her in the Canterlot dungeons should her true nature be revealed.

Simple, right?

Too bad she couldn't have picked a worse form to stay inconspicuous...

After Twilight receives a letter saying that Queen Chrysalis is the guest of honor in the Crystal Empire's First Grand Banquet, she becomes suspicious and attends in order to thwart any plans the changelings may be hatching.

Cadence and Shining Armor visit one of their generals and his wife in the hospital to give their congratulations on the new born foal. However... the visit wasn't as routine as they first thought.

What to do when a kindness takes the opposite turn? That is the situation of our pegasus mare, Fluttershy, who came in contact with a stallion that bears an illness. Unable to bring herself to ask for help at the expense of others joy.

A stallion of old age speaks to a reporter about how he knew Chrysalis and all the things they did together. However, not all tales are gumdrops and fairies in the end. Some end tragically, and some change deeply in the end.
