What if the confrontation between Sunset and the Dazzlings in the hallway went a little differently? A "What if" scenario, with Sunset Shimmer puts her darker side to good use.

When Sunset Shimmer needs some money to get her jacket cleaned and repaired, she decides to take a part-time job to make some cash. She didn't expect to get a rather surprising co-worker, nor did she expect things to turn out quite like they did.

Sonata Dusk decides to spend a day at school, but she's confused about where to go or what to do. Luckily, Sunset Shimmer is such a good student and offers to show her around.

Sunset was just trying to show the school that she was reformed. What easier way to do that than by giving a tour to new students? After she shows three new students -- who act very strangely around her -- around, she begins to wonder if there's something more to those three when she keeps bumping into them left and right.

Lawful Crane and his girlfriend Pearl Lane happen to be in town during Anon-a-Miss' reign of terror in Canterlot High. Crane, being a skilled detective, is easily able to determine that Sunset Shimmer is being framed. Having devoted his life to protecting the innocent and punishing the guilty, he decides to expose the true Anon-a-Miss as an invisible avenger known as The Shadow. Through the use of a mysterious hypnotic power he learned in the far East, he is able to cloud other people's minds so they cannot see him, rendering him invisible.

Soon, Anon-a-Miss will learn that the weed of crime bears a bitter fruit. . .

This is a crossover with The Shadow Radio Show (1937-1954), a weekly radio program that dramatized stories from the pages of Street & Smith's Detective Story Magazine.

Even if it's a small city, he'll do whatever he can to protect it. Even if he has to resort to drastic measures, such as killing. Though he'll get hell from Bruce if he ever does that.
