One of Nine

I’m a noob writer who goes by the seat of their pants, making a general plot line, but nothing incredibly detailed. I’ll be working on these things and focusing more on the central plot.

This story is a sequel to A Different Sunset

Pizzelle has always wanted a child. She wished and pleaded to the stars above, but no answer. Now, she has it in the form of a little Kitsune.

Of course, raising a completely different species that is renowned for mischief is not easy. Not to mention the danger of being exposed to too much cuteness.

Shiva wasn't a freedom fighter or a revolutionary. She was just a normal wolf-dog, happily living her life as a beloved pet. Then, forces beyond her threw her into a strange new world with a strange new body.

With cruel talking ponies out to get her.

Alone, confused, and with a magic she doesn't understand as her only defense, Shiva must wage a one-wolf battle to escape a land apparently out to enslave her, all while the forces that protect this new nation do all they can to catch her.

How far will these ponies push the wolf? And how far is she willing to go to maintain her freedom in a world that seems desperate to make her a beaten and broken slave?

Inspired by Misunderstandings by The Rogue Wolf and Drawn with the Night by Dan_S Comments.

Both a character experiment involving my OC Shiva, and a plot experiment that borrows the plot beats from "Of Scales and Fur - Shiva," my (likely horrible) attempt at an upcoming original novel. Feedback is greatly appreciated.

Shout out to Ang Auronheart for the cover art.

This story is a sequel to Lone Wolf of Equestria: Back to the Pack

Logan did it. After a harrowing journey, he found his last pack mate, Carol, and even managed to bring her to Equestria. Finally at peace, the wolves have decided to settle in Ponyville, ready to live out their lives with the Mane Six in peace and harmony.

But just because Logan isn't going to go looking for trouble anymore doesn't mean trouble won't come looking for him. In this series of one-shots, comedic shorts and adventurous re-scripts, the Mane Six gain two brand new allies to help them take on the daily challenges of living in Equestria.

A partial character experiment for Carol, and a lead up to Logan's final story.

.........Um, hello, my name is Doctor Daniel Phillips, and I am the lead scientist overseeing the Gateway Project, one of the most cutting-edge technologies in existence today. With it, we can open wormholes to worlds far beyond the reach of conventional space travel, and even into other dimensions if we can work out the right frequency. As of late we have discovered over a dozen habitable worlds that have been slated for colonization, but as of yet no signs of intelligent life. Yet I hold out hope that one day we might find such a world, however remote, and put our best foot forward in opening relations with our new galactic neighbors. Yet not all of the planets we find are poppies and roses, so instead of sending in humans to explore them, we have these little babies.

Oh, right, you can't see me because this is an audio-only feed. My mistake. Well, I guess I'll just have to explain it to you. These cybernetic wolves, known in our group as the Mech Hounds, are outfitted with the most advanced computers in the world, along with some of the most cutting-edge robotics and weapons money can buy. Now right at the moment we only have a dozen of these little critters, but don't let that fool you. Each of these little babies carries enough firepower to level a small town, although it would take them a couple days to do so if they were working alone. They also have the programing to work out almost any situation in a matter of seconds, although they still have many of the logic problems that most computers face when confronted with something that does not fit within the established parameters of their programming. Yet, regardless of their possible shortcomings, they do the heavy lifting upon initial exploration where humans cannot, dealing with threats as they see fit in order to assess the habitability of a planet for human use. I could tell you more, but that would be breaking protocol.

So, without further ado, I'll turn you over to our logistics specialist, who will be happy to tell you all about how these little babies are going to change the world, or rather, worlds, that humanity has come to call home.................

This is a story that delves into the boundary between life and machine, where AI is something that has only been dreamed of, even with the most advanced computers available. Then again, these machines have never encountered magic before, so who knows what might happen. I guess you'll just have to read the book to find out for yourself.

After an experiment in magic goes awry, Princess Celestia accidentally brings an abused young wolf from an alternate universe over into her world. Now, Twilight and her friends must contend with a defiant but war-torn young wolf, desperate to return to the pack he was taken from, and convinced that these kind-seeming ponies have darker plans in store for him.

With the simplest of misunderstandings having disasterous consequences and no one truly in the right, can this wolf find common ground with the ponies? Or is this cross-dimensional friendship challenge simply too much for Twilight and her friends to handle?

A character experiment with my original character; Logan Wolfe.

Special thanks and shout out to BronyWriter's Non-Brony Universe, which inspired me to write this. Also, shout out and a huge thanks to Ang Auronheart; who drew the cover art of Logan.

In this re-imagining of The Crystal Empire Two Parter, Logan and the Mane Six must set aside their conflict and work together to keep the Empire safe from the Dark King Sombra. All while Logan seeks out the Crystal Heart, believing it might be the key to returning him home.

Nick was your average human being. He mostly kept to himself, not really having any friends. That all changed when he found a mysterious gem while walking through his local park. Now he's woken up in Equestria, where he must make the ultimate sacrifice to save it from total destruction.

Disclaimer: While this takes place after the Cutie Remark, for the sake of simplicity, the Elements of Harmony defeated King Sombra, Queen Chrysallis and Lord Tirek.

Thanks to RocSushi for editing and brainstorming. A special thanks to CategoricalGrant for setting me on the right path with a massive edit to the beginning chapters.

A colt is taught from foalhood all about what a "good little colt" is supposed to be like and do. Bear Claw is not like every other colt. He's more of a lone wolf...

A stand alone story, in the same format as my story, Silent. Reading that is not required at all.
