A storm has blocked the train's route to Ponyville.
Minuette, who was planning for a long time to spend the holidays with Princess Twilight is delayed on the very Eve of Hearth's Warming. Unfortunately, she has to spend the Holidays alone. But, she meets a mysterious Stallion, who is also Delayed to go to Appleloosa.

When it comes to the people living in my neighborhood, it's one of those things where I only know a bit about it, but having too many things going on in my life kind of keeps me out of the loop. Though, one thing that I know is that the house next door would still have the 'For Sale' sign up in the front yard and despite the owners best efforts, no one was interested in claiming it.

Yet, one day... someone did.

Usually, when someone new moves in, I don't really take it upon myself to welcome them to the neighborhood. If anything, that's what my mom would do. Yet, this time around, my new neighbor just so happens to honestly be the last thing I expected.

My name is Sam... and, I kid you not, my next door neighbor is a unicorn. A unicorn who just so happens to be very smart, but rather unfamiliar with everyday things that humans use on a daily basis.

What could possibly go wrong?

So this is an idea that I had stuck around for a while that I finally decided to pick back up and thought I would show you guys.

The idea was inspired by Admiral Biscuit's 'Not-A-Contest' writing challenge and subsequent stories within that genre, but with a bit of a different take. Mainly to answer the question 'What would happen if you had an Equestrian as your next door neighbor?'

I'll try to update this as much as I can, but there will be times where some updates might take longer than others because of stuff irl or working on other stories

The character tags will expand a bit as new characters are introduced.

These are the laws and regulations put into effect to try and stop the minty menace from spreading chaos the likes of Discord would be proud of. Lyra is a gifted researcher that may be just a little unhinged in her quest to find out about how the world works. She also may have a small itty bitty obsession about humans.

Due to overwhelming positive feedback, I will be writing short stories that explains why these laws were enacted. Stay tuned.

This is a story of how a mare named Faust finally managed to get home after so many years of being lost in another dimension. For centuries a certain alicorn has been trapped in another dimension, living quietly, and avoiding being seen by the human eye. When she finally found a way home, her spell went wrong, and it pulled a human consciousness in with her.

That said, consciousness is me, Alex. I woke up one day, only to discover that I had turned into a pony, but I didn't turn into just any pony. I became a pony known as Lauren Faust, the mother to Celestia and Luna. Now I’m living in the Canterlot castle; I have a bunch of royals acting like children, changelings running around, and an ancient alicorn prankster stuck inside my head. All I can say is things get a little hectic.
