This story is a sequel to Mythic Dawn

It all started with a dream.

Last school semester, Luster Dawn and her new friends stopped a plot by a conspiracy of Equestria's rich and powerful to install a puppet to the throne. That should have been the end of it, the solution to the mystery, but for some reason, Luster Dawn can't shake the feeling they missed something, and that there's truth yet to be uncovered.

What lingering effects did the ritual have? Why aren't ponies willing to tell Luster Dawn what they know? Most importantly, how is she going to find the truth when her mentor and everypony else is hiding it?

Thank you to all my readers and supporters. This year has been particularly difficult for me, and I've been struggling with my health. Don't get Covid, folks! It's real and it's a bad time, take it from me.

I decided to start publishing this before quite finishing it because I haven't put anything up in a while - I've been trying to focus on completing projects before posting them, because of how many incomplete stories I have lying around. Hopefully, as you read this you see that the story is marked complete and I did eventually finish it!

Rarity can't sleep these days.

It's nothing she can't handle, of course: one more source of stress for an aspiring fashionista as ambitious as herself isn't really important. So none of her friends need to help her with her nightmares.

And then, all of a sudden, one of them does anyway.

Credit to Undome Tinwe and Pearple Prose for helping with the editing.

Written for Monochromatic's RariTwi bomb. If I have the sheer gumption to pull it off, this'll update daily.

The crime? Murder.
The victim? Prince Blueblood.
The culprit?

Well, that one's Rarity's job.

This story is a sequel to Who-dunce-it?

The crime? Burglary. The stolen goods? Nothing—or so the obscenely wealthy Duchess Clearglass claims. The culprit?

Well, that's Rarity's job. Whether she wants it to be or not.

Reading the previous story is not necessary to enjoy this one, but will provide additional context.

This story is a sequel to Sisters

Info

A Quills and Sofas Christmas Fic Exchange gift for applejackofalltrades with the prompt "gimme any applejack ship but DONT make her straight :gun-2:", spruced up from its first draft. Inspired by Space_Kase's amazing Past Tartarus and Back, which you should really be reading instead.

Thanks to daOtterGuy for convincing me to kill many, many darlings by not adding back in the scenes I cut from the initial idea, and to Emotion Nexus for help with the shortdesc.

Longdesc

In the future of the Crystal War timeline, King Sombra has finally been defeated. But the war being over just means that its wounds can only begin to heal, and all Applejack can do is give Pinkie the home that her family's rock farm can no longer be.

Sequelness

While this is a sequel to Sisters, it can be read as a standalone without missing anything.

In order to make sure her class knows a little more about the world, Cheerilee has them exchanging letters with children in other nations. This allows her students to learn about truly foreign concepts, like 'snow day'. And the mere concept of having a random storm grant an unexpected holiday has taught the Crusaders something big: that Equestria is the worst place in the whole world, because the weather schedule means that's never gonna happen.

Surely there has to be a way to get a snow day of their very own. Surely...

...so what's the fastest way to summon a windigo?

This story is a sequel to Canterlot Has Fallen

Time marches forward in Equestria, and yet the allure of "what if?" remains. Twilight wonders about the "what ifs" as she tries to guide Equestria to a bright and prosperous future. Cadance wonders about the "what ifs" as she sees her daughter growing.

The power of "what if" tempts once again, but are the little ponies really ready for the answers?

Blurb

What exactly did Pinkie Pie do during the time she held Discord's power? An Equestrian intelligence officer leaves a message to her successor on what little they know so far. Warning: Superintelligences and existentialism

Author's Note

Inspired by The 21-Second God, though I ended up taking it in a different direction than good ol' Squiddy.

Charlie Stross Was Right.

Vaguely planning more stuff about the Equestrian intelligence services, recontextualizing all the episodes of the series one by one to various degrees. If I end up doing that, this story will end up being one of the capstones. It'll also be a long while before I start it, if I ever do.

Also left two (2) lines from literature in there. It's possible I left even more than that inadvertently, considering I tend to repeat cool things I hear. But if you catch them let me know!

Chapters (2)

The world ended.

That, at least, is what it sounded like. Screaming, howling, and then deathly silence.

A month later, Cheerilee and Scootaloo emerge from their shelter in search of food. As they search among the dead bodies of their friends, only one question comes to mind:

Where are the unicorns?

As it turns out, our planet is the afterlife of a tiny horse world, and my house is super haunted. At least the ghosts are kinda cute, if not a teensy bit annoying.
