Actually, I can imagine, but the reason is downvotes for the sake of downvoting or simply because the subjects are not relevant to their interests (even though they are warned by the title) and that seems stupid so I shall upvote and look forward to more.

I think this is a good little fic. But i think the idea could by a full length fic with a good back store to how she lost her wings or how took them and how twilight and her got together we might jest be looking a grate fic. But it's jest a thought

I don't know that I could stomach writing a full-length story that would be primarily sad like that. There have been plenty of Rainbow losing her wings stories before and I'd just be adding another to the glut, too. Who knows, though; maybe the inspiration to write something sad like that will get the better of me and I'll expand this to full-length. After all, just because something's been done before doesn't mean new life can't be breathed into it by tackling it from a different angle. I'd have to actually plan something out if I did; frankly I have no idea how Rainbow Dash lost her wings when I sat down to write this.

Infection log:
It has been a week since I was bitten by that Appledash fan. In a foolhardy mistake at the time, I had thought them simply over-exuberant, but that was before I learned the truth. Even now, in the throes of the transformation, I remember shreds of my former self; my beloved Twidash ship, the color of my ex-wife's eyes, the smell of lavender...they come to me clearly before my mind clouds again, replaced by thoughts that aren't mine: "Consarnit," "Awesometastic," "Barn-raising," "20% cooler." These are foreign notions deadening my synapses as the full transformation takes root. My fellow Twidashers have me quarantined in the barracks. They know what must be done when the transformation is complete. There is only one known cure: removing the head or destroying the brain. Hopefully this log will gain them valuable insight into the disease and will lead them to a breakthrough. Hopefully, there will be something left to read before I fill it with doodles of apples and lightning bolts inside of hearts.
My only regret is the loss of Twidash. Without it, how will a bookish unicorn learn to relax and a headstrong pegasus learn to think things through? It is a loss that is simply unbearable to me, but with each passing moment grows distant, twisted. Soon it will be gone. Even now I can feel the lucidity slipping. I fear this is my last entry...

Lol, you're the third person to try and push me into writing Appledashlight. If I felt I knew how to write polyamory, I totally would. But I've never been in a polyamorous relationship, so it'd all be guesswork and that's not fair to polyamorous romance fiction. I don't know what it feels like to be in that situation, and that's the heart of writing romance successfully.
Glad you're enjoying my Appledash, though. There's a one-shot somewhere on the horizon that'll come out of me.

Haha, you're welcome. You're right about these being experimental. They're also about practicing genres I don't write very often, getting a feel for characters and pairings I'm not familiar with (hence the multiple Appledash prompts in a row), gear myself up for writing in general, clear my head, or just for fun cuz I'm bored.
No promises I'll do that again, though.

One of the suggested pairs when I was fishing was Shining Armor/Winona. I don't write crackfics, though. Even if they're funny, I try to make them coherent. Twilightlot is crackfic nightmare fuel.

Haha, success! I'd made a personal challenge to myself at one point to eventually try my hand at writing a bizarre ship fic and making it work. Not 100% successful, but it turned out pretty well for less than 500 words!
That was cute! And it made sense, in a way. Nothing wrong with this apart from the randomness of the pairing
