This hasn't been a good week to be a girl I like.
The first of three lovely chapters, and me needing to start a fresh pot of coffee.
Wat do?
I was wondering why she simply didn't teleport...
should have let twilight hit applejack, at this point somebody needs to reign her in already.
Called it. Now where's my cookie? I demand it!
Well... I think Lilly's death was a little rushed, and came too soon before I could really make a bond with her, but overall it wasnt a bad chapter. If this had come later after the bond than I most definitely would've cried during the part where Luna and Raegdan shared brief memories of good times with Lilly.
Damn! Lost Lilly so soon. I get why, but it sucks. I do have a question that's been bugging me, though. Where is Discord in this universe?
Three chapters! It's like my birthday, except less drunk.
7716698 Or, you know, stop calling her an ass because she's telling the truth? Luna and Raegdan are terrible people, the epitome of zealous conspiracy nuts with hardcore psychopathy to boot. Despite the occasional good they do, they are still awful people. Their good doesn't, and shouldn't, excuse all the horrible shit they've done. I find myself increasingly less likely to continue to enjoy their characters, despite really enjoying the story and having avidly defended them before, and it all started with Luna wiping Twilight's memory. That's where it grew inexcusable.
They've had many chances to make changes, but they fold back on their old ways at the drop of a hat when shit didn't go their way. They are overgrown, violent children with an exceedingly short temper. They had no reason to fear the element bearers, but they did because they were too full of themselves to seek the help that Celestia was freely, and gladly, willing to give. The only reason they were ever even used in the first place was because Luna gave Celestia and then the six no other choice.
They are sad, pathetic, miserable creatures and, until they face retribution for what they've done and finally gave judgement for the long forgotten mind tampering, with more than a bit off finger or random act of coerced kindness, they will continue to be garbage characters. Honestly, if Twilight want so damn scared of losing such an important figure in her life, I'd be absolutely livid with her characterization too.
7717748 Isnt it good how a story can manipulate you so much as to hate its characters in such a passionate way? Honestly there motives are relatively unknown for their actions, thus i can't give real conviction, all i know is that they are actively dealing with ptsd and are recovering from a life style that took all from them and gove very little in return. now, im not saying they're actions may be in any way justified, and they really should seek help, but how can someone whos been alone for so long seek help from anyone who hasn't experienced a similar fate? To them, anyone who can agree with their sacrifice of morality for survival is someone who can share their burden and help them cope with their actions.
I'm obviously a pro-Raegdan/Luna, and my justification is that their actions seem to follow a logic in which i actually kind of agree with. But as I have said before, in other conversations, the besuty of this story is its challenging of morality. Raegdan is man who has seen a lot of bad things, many caused by him, but yet, he is also currently in a world in which his actions are now of bad consequence, and his past actions are catching up with him. As his character developes he tries to attone for these, but he continues his past behaviour knowing its wrong. He has to deal with failing to properly take care of both of his "children" by killing one and traumatizing the other.
My main problem is that Celestia chooses to sit idly by while Raegdan and her sister rampage around, giving them little to no consequence. Her bias towards Raegdan, however, provides an interesting character flaw that lets the plot continue. So this can be excused.
Anyways TL; DR My point is there is little to no motive given to know for sure they are terrible, or if their acts are justified, but they have seen so much that perhaps a little slack should be given as to their actions.

Um....Is that supposed to be Luna? I don't remember Twilight ever having a sister here.
Also Luna being so adorably awkward about receiving praise, and a proper apology, was even better than expected!
7719660 The girl Raegdan looked over in the past.
Is this why Twilight was so frightened of "Magic Kindergarten" in the show?
I feel like every single chapter is Reagan smashing the Mane 6's concepts of morality again and again with his hammer. The cracks are showing on all of them now, won't be too long before things get broken.
God does this makes me want Discord to make an appearance.

I feel like that was part of the plan (luna/ragedan) to destabilize the absolutes the elements are harmony use so they wouldn't be threatened by it.

Another idea that I had was that they made a kind of suicide pact. Their armory had a list of ideas on how to kill Discord, and an empty paper on alicorns. If the Elements left Luna awake on the moon for a thousand years and she's deathly terrified of going back, it makes sense she'd get rid of them. Both Luna and Raegdan view themselves as monsters barely held back by a fragile leash. I propose the idea that they're not trying to make the Lunar Guard to start another civil war or to protect themselves. Rather, as the minotaurs and pegasus wondered, 'what would be the point of having a Lunar Guard without a Lunar Princess'. Perhaps they're the Lunar Guard because they're meant to protect against Luna herself. She and Raegdan did give the sticking point of them being monster hunters. If Luna falls once more, she'd prefer to die than be banished again. The only way to be sure that's guaranteed is to remove any chances Celestia has for keeping her alive.
Just realised his armour for inspired by sauron my favourite character
Once again the stuck up dumb dumb ponies fail to realise that he did nothing wrong.
Things like, "lying to themselves" it's ridiculous
Its important to stay positive :)
The death of a already running extinct Pony subrace.
Well done, they play hero and payed for it.
Fuck‼️
