Maybe story will be better later, but its not good if you have to read 5 or 7 chapters of not interesting... stuff. Good story should hook you up from first chapter until the end, so nope, just nope

I don´t get it. Even if he is at the moment not able to speak (wich wonders me why) why couldn´t he just do something with his hands or something to show that he is sentinent?! He did nothing. I´m also confused about the other humans. Are they not intelligent? They could have formed a plan or something to get out of this somehow. It might have been cruel but he could have attempted to take Sunny as a hostage or do something....anything!!!

I´m curious how the story will progress but I really hope the main character does something beside taking it like a sheep or a cow. Hell, he gets a collar for gods sake!

I really don't see the point of the outrageously high payment. From context I gather that she doesn't approve of the slave trade—hence they are nervous about doing it too close to the palace for fear of offending her. And even though he may be WORTH 2 million bits to her, she obviously didn't NEED to spend that much to obtain him. The fact that she threw out such an extravagant number seemed utterly pointless.

But if you're following these criticisms, do note that I'm avidly reading; don't think I'm not liking the story generally.
