Yet another failed attempt at a new stunt lands Rainbow Dash in the infirmary once again. She is patched up and sent on her way, but as she is leaving the Ponyville Hospital, she catches glimpse of Scootaloo sitting alone in the waiting room, injured and upset.

Taking a seat beside her, she finds out what is wrong, plus something quite shocking and disturbing.

She has been gone too long on the one hoof, and on the other....not nearly long enough.

All she wants is peace, redemption, and forgiveness.

Will she be able to find it?

Rainbow Dash always had a thing for First Officer Soarin of the Wonderbolts, even without realizing he could be such a sweet pony once she got to know him a little better. However, her affections are already tied up with the newly adopted Scootaloo, who needs guidance and care when a new disorder rears its ugly head. There's not much room in her heart for a stallion, is there?

Unfortunately, her life will get even more complicated as the Mane Six join the Wonderbolts to face a mysterious darkness in the distant land of Saddle Arabia. She must remain strong, because her entire world is about to come crashing around her ears. Is there a light at the end of this tunnel, or will everything she endured simply bring more pain down the road?

(Rated teen for the occasional instances of strong language, suggestive scenes, and scattered ponies drinkin' themselves stupid!

Rainbow Dash struggles to learn how to mentor Scootaloo.

Scootaloo tired of being teased about being called a chicken tells us exactly what she thinks and feels in this story.

Rainbow Dash decided to take Scootaloo flying for the day. She pushed the young filly to improve her flying skills, but maybe she pushed too hard. Now Scootaloo is lying in Hospital in a critical condition, the doctors informed Rainbow Dash that she wasn't going to make it. She relives the events of that fateful day whilst sitting next to the unconscious little filly that meant the world to her.

This is my first time ever writing a sad story so lets hope it turns out ok.
Guys I want you to be brutal, criticism is needed.
It is pretty short but this is just a one-shot I have never tried anything like this before.
