Chapter 5
A week has past since you and Dash had your last goodbye. In that week you been writing to Dash everyday telling her about whats be happening with your family and hows you've been doing. Dash has also written back to a couple of time telling you how much she misses you and how much she wants you to come back to Ponyville.
Every night in your dreams you get a visit from the heads of Twilight, AppleJack, Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie asking the same question every time.
You walk down the streets of Fillydelphia with your head down low. As ponies of all colors pass by, the words of the ponies swim through your head
Darkness
Heartless
Thrown Outside
Given up
Stolen
As you walk with your head down low and your ears folded lost in your thoughts. You don't hear your name being called out.
You feel a tapping on your shoulder and look over to see your friends Altair
"Hey, whats up dude you look a little down" he says as he walk beside you
"A lot of things are up Altair. A lot of thing" you say to him
"You need to get a coffee? A cupcake? A strawberry cupcake? I know how much you love those things" he say with a smile
You sigh
"Alright, I guess I could go for a cupcake" you say with a smirk
"That's my boy"
You and Altair walk in the sweet shop and stand at the counter
"What can I get you boys?" and oldish mare asks
"I just have a Strawberry cupcake please" you say
"And I'll have a Blueberry cupcake" adds Altair
The mare nods and walks away
"You know what I just noticed" you say looking at Altair
"What?"
"You like to get stuff that are blue" you say with a smirk
"You seriously just noticed at?" he say with smile
"Yeah"
"Dude, we've known each other or 16 years and you just noticed" he say with a look on his face that looks like he's about to laugh
You nod
Altair can't hold it anymore and start to laugh is cuitemark off. His laugh is so loud that ponies in the shop are turning there head towards him
You grab Altair by the shoulder and shake him
"Dude, calm down" you say while shaking him
You stop shaking and look at him
"I'm okay" he says getting his breath back
"Here you go boys" say the old mare placing the cupcakes on the counter
"How much is it?" asks Altair
"10 bits" she say
"10 bits?! that's outrageous!" you says
"I know, but its the owners idea to raise the prices"
You roll your eyes and go to get your money. Altair stops you and you look at him
"Don't worry, my treat" he says
He levitates the 10 bits to and mare while taking his and your cupcake
You and Altair walk to a table and sit opposite to each other
Altair give you your cupcake. You take the cupcake from his and take a bite
"So whats on your mind?" Altair asks
You swallow the peace of cupcake in your mouth and look at him
"Well I've been having these weird dream lately" you say
"Wet dreams?"
"NO DUMB ASS!" you shout "I've been having these about some 'friends'"
"What type of dreams?" he asks
"Well, their not full on dream about them, something they'll appear during the dream or appear before I wake up"
"What do they do in your dream?"
"Well say the same thing over and over again each time they appear" you say looking into Altairs eyes
"What do they say?"
"They ask stuff like 'Do you feel darkness?' 'Do you feel heartless?'"
"Why would something like that?" Altairs says asking ANOTHER question
"Well you know then we met here about a week ago when I came back from Ponyville?" you ask
Altair nods his head
"Well after I left you'll never guess who I ran into"
"Who"
"Rainbow Dash" you say
Altair move back into his chair in shock
"Really?" he asks
"Yeah, and she ask me to come back to Ponyville"
"Why didn't you go?"
"I just couldn't, the way they all treated me, I just couldn't" you say with sad eyes
"So what did they do exactly?" Altair ask leaning forward
"Well they-"
"Excuse me" a female voice calls out next to you
You and Altair move you head towards a mare who stand their slyly
"Um....I been looking at you from across the shop and I think your really hot" she says looking at you
"Well your pretty hot too" you say with a smile
"R-Really?" she asks
You nod while still smiling
"H-How hot?" she asks with excitement
"As hot as an oven" you say
"R-R-Really?" she asks again this time barely able to contain her excitement
"Yeah, when it's off" you say removing the smile from your face "Now beat it"
The excitement from the mare face disappears and a sad face appears. The mare turns around and walks back to her friends
"Dude, that was so out of line" he say turning to you
You shrug and take another bite from your cupcake
"Anyway-"
"You are SO rude" another female calls out
You turn your head to see three mare including the mare you just talked to looking over at you
"You talking to me?" You ask pointing to yourself
"Yeah, I can't be you said that to our friend" another one said comforting the mare that called you hot
"Hey, not my fault that I'm not attracted to her" you says
"You're a horrible pony" the other one says
"So sue me" you say raising your arms in the air
"Come on girl were out of here"
They all get up from the table while shooting death glares at you as the walk across the shop and out the door
You turn back to Altair who's shaking his head in disapproval
"What?" you asks
"I so can't believe you just said that" he say with his arms crossed
"Well, what you gonna do" you say taking another bite of you cupcake "Anyway, the ponies back at Ponyville decided to take a little to far" you say after swallowing the cupcake in your mouth
"Like what?"
"Well, They decided to write letter to me on how much of a horrible pony I am. Then the letter turned into death treats. Then the death treats turn into objects being thrown at me"
"You serious?" Altair ask with fear
"Yeah, That how I got this" you lifting up your wing revealing a scar
"Oh my goodness" he says with shock
You retract your wing so it covers your scar
A couple of hours went by with you and Altair sitting around talking about what Altair has done while you were in Ponyville
"Well I need to get going" Altair says getting up from the chair
"Yeah, same here" you say also getting up
You and Altair leave the shop and stand outside
"I'll see you later man" he say
"Yeah, see ya"
You too hoof bump and walk separate ways
You walk back down the streets of Fillydelphia looking down at the ground
You feel somepony grab you. You jump in the air while doing a turn to face the pony that grabbed you
"HEY WHAT THE BIG IDEA" you shout
You stop and look at the pony that grabbed you and your eyes widen
"Big Mac?"
"Eeyup" he say with a smile
"What are you doing here?" you ask
He waves his hoof as a sign for you to follow him. You follow Big Mac into a alleyway
"I've come here to talk to ya" he says walking into the alleyway
"Did your sister put you up to this?"
"Eeyup" he say stopping and turning around to face you "She says that maybe I could knock some sense into ya"
"You mean latterly knocking some sense into me" you ask with a hint for fear in your voice, because the last thing you want is to be hit by Big Mac
"I'm not going to hit you, if that's what you're implying"
"Okay good" you say with relief
"Now listen to me and listen good, Miss Rainbow Dash needs you, She needs you more then anything in the whole of Equesrtria"
You look down at the floor
"She looks like she hasn't slept in days, She even looks like she's been crying. But of course being Rainbow Dash she won't admit to it"
You chuckle a little bit
"That's Rainbow Dash" you say with a smile
"Can't ya' see partner she need's you. Mah sister and her friends want the old Rainbow Dash back. Not the Rainbow Dash that's depressed all the time"
"And what makes you think that I can make a difference?" you ask
"Are you really that stupid" he says
"Excuse me?" You ask with shock
"The only reason why we think you can make a difference is because she is in love with you"
You lift your head and look at Big Mac
"Really?"
He nods your head
"But what about the ponies back at Ponyville?" you ask
"What about them?"
"Well when they found out when Cloudchaser kissed me, They kinda thought that I kissed Clousdchaser, so they started throwing stones at me" you say looking up at Big Mac "And that how I got this" you say once again reveling your scar
"No need to worry about them, I have your back, And they wont mess with me" he say given you a smile
You return a smile and then look down at the floor
"So whats it gonna be partner? You gonna stay here and let Rainbow Dash drown in her own sorrow. Or are you going to go back to Ponyville and brighten up Dash's life"
You look up at Big Mac and get up to your hoofs and turn around and walk out the alleyway
"Were you going?" Big Mac asks
"Follow me and you'll get your answer" you turning you head to him with a smile
You and Big Mac walk to back to your house. You pull out a key from under you wing and unlock the door and you and Big Mac walk in
You walk into the living room to see your Mum and Dad. Big Mac stays into the hallway
"Mum, Dad" you say catching there attention
"What is it Star?" you dad asks
"I'm going back to Ponyville" you say
They get up from sofa at the same time and look at you. At the corner of your eye you see that Big Mac has a huge smile on his face
"You are?" you mum ask with shock
You give a simple nod
"Why?" you dad asks
"This guy" you say waving at Big Mac to come into the living room
"Howdy" Big Mac says walking into the room
"I'll give you the short story" you to your parents who have there eye fixed on big mac "basically Big Mac here was told to come a knock some sense into me. He gave me some pretty good reasons on why I should go back. SOOOOOO I'm going back" you say finishing you short story
Your parents look at each other and then back to you. They give you a nod as a sign of approval. You nod back at them. You and Big Mac walk out of the living room and into the hallway. Your parent follow you into the hallway
"Oh, and tell Rose Beat I'm going, okay" you say turning back to your parents
"Don't you want to pack your stuff first?" ask your mum
"I don't need that stuff" you say and then look at you parents "Because right now"
You pause for effect
"My marefriend needs me"
