Chapter 3
Dash eyes are filled with tears. She's struggling to find words.
"W-W-Why not?" She asks with tears running down her face
"I just cant, I can't go back. Not after the way everypony treated me back there" You say with tears now in your eyes
You look at Dash who looks like her heart has be shattered into a million peaces and no mount of tape can put it back together
"But, I.....I" Dash tries to say
"Dash" you say grabbing her shoulders "As much as I want to be with you, I just can't go back to ponyville"
Dash doesn't say anything.
She grabs you and cries into your chest
You try to comfort her as much as you can. You run your hoof through her mane, You kiss her on the top of her head. You tried everything, but nothing has worked. No matter what you do she doesn't stop crying.
"Whats taking so long?" A southern voice calls out
At the opening of the alleyway you see five ponies standing their
You look at them with sad eyes and then you back down at Dash who still crying.
The five ponies walk over to you and Dash without saying a word
"Dashie, are you okay?" asks Pinkie
Dash shakes her head while crying in your chest
"What happened?" Ask Rarity
"I told her that I can't go back to ponyville" you say while looking at them
They all look at you in shock
"W-Why not?" Ask Twilight
"I can't, the way the ponies treated me after they found out about Cloudchaser, they kinda toke it way out of hoof" you say while stroking Dash mane
"What did they do?" AppleJack asks
"All sort of stuff, I'd rather not talk about it"
After what seems like forever Dash finally stop crying and hugs you tight.
"Come on Dash we need to get back home" says Applejack putting her hoof on Dash's shoulder
"NO!" Dash screams
"Dash, You need to-"
"NO!" Dash shouts louder cutting you off "I'm not leaving without you" she say with tears coming to her eyes again
"Please don't cry again, you need to be strong about this" you say
"But I don't want to go and never hear from you again"
"I promise you will hear from me"
"How?" Dash asks the tears still in her eyes
"I'll write to you, I write to you everyday, I'll tell you whats happening and tell you how i've been" you say to her
Dash wipes her face and sniffs
"You promise?" Dash ask
You nod
"Pinkie promise" she say with a demanding voice
"Cross my hear, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in m eye" you say crossing your heart
"Dash" Twilight say "We need to go"
Dash gives a small nod and get up onto her hoofs
"Will you at least walk with us to the train station?" Dash asks
"Of course I will"
You, Dash, Twilight, Pinkie, Fluttershy, Applejack and Rarity walk out of the alleyway and walk to the train station. Rainbow Dash stuck close to you not allowing any space to come between the two of you. The seven of you walk into the train station and wait for the train.
After a couple of minutes the train starts to show over the horizon. The six elements of harmony turn towards you.
"Well, I guess this is good bye" Twilight says braking the silence
"Yeah I guess it is" you say
"It was nice seeing you again StarStar" Says Pinkie Pie
You nod
The train come to a stops in front of you all. Twilight, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Fluttershy get on the train and Dash looks at you
"Can I have one last kiss?" Dash ask
You nod and walk over to Dash
You and Dash lock lips for the last time. You didn't want to end the kiss but you know that soon it would have to end.
You brake the kiss and look at each other
Tears start to form in yours and Dash's eyes as you look at each other
"Write to me as soon as you can" She say
"I will, I promise"
She turns around and walks onto the train
You watch as she walks onto the train and take a seat next to her friends. A part of you want to jump into the train and ride along with them, but you know you can't. The train starts moving and you wave. You can see Dash waving back at you through the window. You head turns slowly as you watch it leave the station. You stand there a watch as the train slowly get farther and farther way. Tears start to run down your face as the train rides over the horizon. Not before long the train was gone. You turn around and walk out of the station with tears still down your face.
You walk down the streets of Fillydelphia with your head down low walking back to your house with a wet face and dried eyes.
You pull out a key to your house and open the door and walk into the house. You shut the front door and stand in the hallway look at the floor boards
"Star, is that you?" You hear your Dad ask
"Yeah" you say replying to his question with a sigh
You see your mother come out the front room and into the hallway
You look up at her with your face still wet
"Are you okay?" She asks walking towards you
You shake your head
"Whats the matter?"
"Dash" you say to her walk past her and walking into the living room
Your dad is standing in the middle of the room and his eyes follow you
"Star are you okay?" He asks
You lay down on the sofa and try to bury your face into it
"What happened with Dash?" Your mum asks
You sit up onto the sofa and look at them both
You take a deep breath and get ready to tell the story
You finish your story and look at them
There face have mixed reactions. Both of them have the emotion of sadness and shock.
Your mum walk up to you can gives you a hug. You return the hug, knowing that your parents care for you and will always be their for when your down fills you up with a little bit of joy.
"I must of hard for you both" she says
"Yeah" you say braking the hug "But a least we had a proper good bye this time" you say with a small smile
"So what are you going to do now?" Your dad ask
"I don't know, but I promised I would write to her" you say to him
Your dad nods with a smile
You rub your eyes and get off the sofa
"I'm gonna catch a few Z's" you say walking towards the stairs
"Do you want me to call you when dinners ready?" Your mum asks
"I'm not in the mood for eating today" you say and then start to walk up the stairs
You open the door to your room and look around. Your room was filled with blue ribbons, certificates, trophies and poster of your favorite race of all time. Jet Stream. Jet Stream was a green Pegasus with a gray mane, he's been your ideal for as long as yo can remember.
You lay down on your bed and slowly close your eyes.
One single tear runs down your face as you drift off to sleep
