Chapter 9
"Wake up" A female voice calls out awaking you from your slumber
"Wake up"The voice repeats
You lift your head up from your pillow
"Huh?" You say still half asleep
"Wake up" The voice repeats yet again
"5 more minutes" You say then put your head back to the comfort of the pillow
You close your eyes and try to get back to sleep. You fill the bed rock up and down. You also hear the some two word being repeated over and over again. you turn over to see Dash jumping up and down on the bed
"Wake up, Wake up, Wake up, Wake up, Wake up" she repeats while jumping up and down
"Alright, calm down, you're acting like a little filly who's excited for Hearts Warming Eve" you say pulling the covers off you then getting off the bed
"My parents are coming today, It's the first time I've seen them this year" She say getting of the bed and walking towards the door
"So when are they coming?" You ask still standing at the bedside
"In about 5 hours" She say opening the bedroom door and walking out
"5 hours! Why did wake me up if there coming in 5 hours?" you say walking out the bedroom
"Because we need to get the house nice and tidy" She say walking to the main room
"Nice and Tidy? That doesn't sound like you" you say walking to the kitchen
"Shut up!"
"What do you want for breakfast" You say
Rainbow Dash rub's her hoof under her chine
"How about some chocolate chip pancakes?" She suggests with a smile
"Coming right up"
After you finished your pancakes with chocolate chips inside, you put yours and Dash's plate in the dishwasher and sit back onto the couch. Dash snuggles up to you and sit in each others comfort
"You recon your parents will like me?" you ask
"Of course they will, just be yourself" She say then kisses you on the cheek "Anyway I think we need to get cleaning up, this place is a mess"
"Cleaning montage?" You ask
"Cleaning montage"
You get up from the sofa and walking over to the music player. You slip a CD in and play out the music
After an hour you and Dash finally manged to clean up the WHOLE house. You cleaned the cloud floor and windows while dash put stuff on the self and put some left over food in the bin. You and Dash sit back onto the couch and let out a sigh.
"Somethings missing" Dash say
You look at her
"We need air fresheners" She says sitting up in a rash "Can you go get some quickly"
You nod and get off the sofa again. You get a couple of bits and walk open the front door. You fly away from the cloud home and fly towards the nearest shop in Ponyville.
You walk into the shop and walk over to the counter to see and older looking stallion cleaning his counter. He noticed you walking over and stops cleans.
"What can I do for ya?" He asks
"Do you sell air fresheners?"
He nods
"Okay, can I buy one please" You ask
He nods again and grabs the nearest one and places it in front of you
"That will be 5 bits please"
You pull out five bits and place it into his hoof. You grab the air freshener and walk out the shop. You walk out into the street and spread you wing. You where about to fly off but then....
"Well, Well, Well" A female voice says from behind you
You turn around to see and darker grayish blue pegasus with a shooting star cutie mark standing there with a smile.
"Never thought I would see you again" She say walking closer to you
"I thought I told you to stay away from me" You say placing the air freshener on the floor
"You did, but I don't do what ponies tell me to do, unlike my sister" She explains
"Well maybe you could learn a little something from your sister, What do you want anyway?"
"I just wanted to say...that I'm sorry" She say hanging her head down
"Did I hear that correctly?"
"Yes, I'm sorry, I'm sorry that I'm the reason that you got put into hospital and I'm sorry that I ruined your relationship with Dash" She say look at you
You give her an unamused face
"And I know you and Dash are back together, but maybe, If you're not busy, Do you think maybe we could hang out?" she ask
"No" You say bluntly
"W-Why?"
"Because to be honest Cloudchaser, I just don't like you" You say then grabbing the air freshener and fly up into the air. You stop and turn back to Cloudchaser who's looking down at the ground "And by the way"
She looks up at you
"I always thought that Flitter was the cuter one"
You turn back around and fly back to your home
It just a matter of minutes before Dash's parents arrive. You are shaking in your skin. Dash comes up to you and grabs you face and brings in closer to her's
"Don't worry, my parents will like you" She say then give you kiss on the lips
That one little kiss was able to calm you down, You smile at her and return the kiss. You and Dash lock lips and stand there is a passionate kiss.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
Three knocks on the door stop you and dash from kissing. Dash walks over to the door and opens it. Standing on the other side of the door are two other Pegasus, one female and one male. The female had a pink coat and blue mane, her cutie mark were two blue lighting blots. The male Pegasus that a purplealy blue coat and a short rainbow mane and tail, You can definitely see where dash got her rainbow mane from, his cutie mark was a cloud with a red and yellow beam coming out of it.
"Hi mum, Hi dad" Dash say hugging her parents
"Hi Dashie" Her mother say returning the hug
"Hello sweetie" Her father adds
Dash brakes the hug and walk over to you
"Mum, Dad. This is StarGazer" she say introduction you
"Er, Hi" You greeting
"Well, Rainbow certainly was right, You're one handsome stallion" She say walking over to you "I'm Firefly" She continues extending her hoof
"It's nice to meet you" you say shaking her hand with a warm smile
"And this is my husband, Rainbow Blitz" She say introduction Rainbow father (A/N: I didn't know what else to call him alright, shut up)
"It's nice to finally meet the stallion who's been dating my daughter" He says extending his hoof
"It's nice to meet you too" You sat shaking his hoof
"Firm hand shake" He say with a smile "Work out?" he asks then letting go of your hoof
"Kinda, I just trying to keep in shape y'know" you say returning a smile
He chuckles
So far, so good
"Why don't we go into the living room" Dash suggests
You all walk into the room and each take seat on the coach. You and Dash sit next to each other on one couch and Dash's parents sit together on the other
"So StarGazer, Dash told us that your a racing type of pony" Firefly says
"Yes, ma'am"
"Oh please, call me Firefly"
"So what type of races have you been in?" Rainbow Blitz asks
"I've been I a couple unimportant races back at Fillydelphia, but I was in a race for Fillydelphia fast track for a trophy when I was fifteenth" You expressing your accomplishment
"And he broke the record for the Fillydelphia youngest fast flyer competition" Adds Dash
"Impressive" say Rainbow Blitz
"Would any one like some coffee?" You ask
"Yes please" Say Firefly
"Sir?" You ask Rainbow Blitz
"Please, and call me Blitz"
"Dash?"
She nods her head
"How many sugars?"
"One" says Firefly
"None please" Adds Blitz
You walk over to the kitchen and turn of the kettle and boil the water. Dash is talking to her parents about whats she's been up to in year.
I hope she doesn't mention that I left Ponyville with out saying good bye. you think to yourself as you pour the water into four cups.
You add tea spoon of coffee grans in to the cups and spin your spoon around so that the grans dissolves in the hot water. You add the sugar in Firefly's cup and spin the spoon around. You take the two guest cups and place them on your wings and walk back to the main carefully. You walk over to Firefly and Rainbow Blitz the cups on your wings. You stop in front of them and bend down slightly so they can take the cups. They take the cups and grasps them in there hoofs
"I say StarGazer, That was impressive" Say Firefly
"Thanks" You say walking back to the kitchen
"Did that not hurt your wings?" asks Rainbow Blitz
"Not really" You say stopping just before you walked into the kitchen "I've been doing that for years, I've gotten used to the pain" You continue then turn back to the kitchen then walk in
You grab yours and Dash's cup, then place them on your wings then walk back out of the kitchen. You walk back to the main room
"Now your just showing off" Says Dash
You give her a small smile and let her take the cup off your wing. You grab your cup and sit back down
"So StarGazer, Your still unemployed?" Asks Rainbow Blitz
"Not still, again" You say then taking a sip of your tea
"But, he's helping out at Applejack's farm" add Dash
"Whats it like?" Ask Firefly after taking a sip of her coffee
"A lot of hard work, I almost broke my leg today as well" You say
"Really" Say Rainbow Blitz with a interested tone
You nod then take another sip of your coffee
time - 5:30
After a couple of hours of talking with Dash parents and have a couple of laughs
"We better get going, I heard that theirs a storm on it's way" Say Rainbow Blitz getting of from the sofa
"Okay, It was nice having you" dash says getting off the sofa and walk towards her father
She gives her dad a hug and walk over to her mother. Rainbow Blitz walks over to you and extends his hoof. You shake his hoof.
"y'know StarGazer......You're alright" he says with a smile
"Thanks" you say returning a smile
YES!!!
Firefly walks over to you and brings you into a hug for some reason.
"It was nice meeting you StarGazer" she say then lets go of you "Take care of yourself, and our little Dashie"
"Mum" Say Dash
"I will, don't worry"
They walk over to the door. Dash opens the door for them and they walk out. They say there last goodbyes and fly away. You take a seat on the couch with a smile on your face. Dash closes the door and walk over a sit next to you.
"What's got you so happy?" Dash asks with a giggle
"Your Dad said I'm alright" You say still smiling
Dash fires of another giggle
"Well I'm glad you got his approval" She say and then connects her lip with yours
Time - 9:25
CRACK
"That storms getting ruff huh?" You say sitting on the sofa
"Yeah it is" she say looking out the window "I've been thinking-"
"Did it hurt?" You say jokingly
"Shut up" she say "As I was saying" She continues "Since you got Mum and Dads approval" She say with her bedroom eyes "Lets celebrate" she says then runs her tail under your chine causing you to blush
You watch her walk to the bedroom. She starts to sway her hips as she gets closer to the room. She opens the door and looks at you
"Don't keep me waiting for to long" she say the walks into the room
You walk over to the window and watch the storm clouds. You look over to a bench and you see something weird. You see a little purple and orange filly hiding under the bench.
"What is that filly doing" you whisper to yourself
You walk over to the front door and open it and walk outside, you didn't stop to close the door, you just needed to get to Scootaloo. You didn't mind getting a little wet. You fly towards the bench that the little filly was hiding under. You land in front of the bench. You see that Scootaloo is crying and tucked into a tight ball
"Scootaloo what are you doing?" You ask trying to talk over the storm
"GO AWAY!" she shouts
"Scootaloo, you can't be out here, This storm is getting worse and worse by the minute"
"I SAID GO AWAY!" she shouts even louder
"We need to get you home-"
"NO! PLEASE DON'T TAKE ME HOME, PLEASE!" she begs
"You can't stay out here during a storm like this" you say "Now come on out of there"
"NO, DON'T TAKE ME HOME, HE'LL HIT ME AGAIN"
Just hear those four word 'he'll hit me again' fills you up with anger. Who in the right mind would hit there own filly. some cold heated son of a mule that's who.
"Alright, Scoot, Get on" you say lowering yourself down
"W-What?" she asks
"Get on my back, You'll stay with me and Dash until the storm is over. We'll talk to your dad after woulds, Is that okay with you?" You say
She nods her head and slowly crawls out from under the bench with small smile. She climbs up onto your back.
"You ready?" You ask the small filly as you spread your wings
She nods her head
You fly up into the sky and fly towards your house.
You walk thought the door to see Dash with a angry look on her face.
"What where you doing out there?" she asks angrily
"This is why"
You turn around to reveling Scootaloo sitting comfortable on your back
"She's gonna be stay with us tonight"
