Chapter 1

You been in Fillydelphia for three weeks and living with your parents. By now your wings have held and you were back to flying. You have also picked up your old racing habits. Whatever race it was you would show up and compete. Even thought you haven't said much since you returned home you were happy to be away from the ponies in ponyville

You sit upside down on the sofa.

"Come on Star, you can't sit around all day" Your father says from the other side of the room
"I don't feel like doing anything right now" You respond
"You've been sitting there doing nothing for the last three weeks" Your mother adds
"Sorry but I did just get out of a prefect relationship" you say raising your voice slightly
"I know its hard coming out of a relationship" your mother says walking towards over to you "but maybe a walk around the city might clear your head"
"I guess you're right, I'll visit Rose Beat" you say rolling of the sofa "I'll be back soon" You say walking towards the front door

You shut the door and fly your way to towards your sisters apartment

You land in front of the apartment building and walk in.

You walk up five flights of stairs and knock on your sisters apartment door

The door opens to revile your sister with a new mane cut

"Hey Star" your sister greets you "Come on in" she continues and then steps away from the door to let you in

You walk into her apartment and walk towards the sofa

"What brings you hear?" she ask closing the door
"Mum and Dad told me I should stop sulking and get out of the house" you say sitting on the sofa
"I never should of helped that Rainbow Dash" Rose Beat say walking towards the sofa and sitting next to you
"I still don't understand why they didn't listen to me" you say looking at Rose Beat
"Well if one of my friends caught her coltfriend kissing another mare and he tried to apologize, I would listen to him"
"The other mare kissed ME" you say defensively
"I know, You would never do such a thing" Rose Beat says putting a hoof on your shoulder
"And to top that nopony would listen to me, Ponyville be full of nice ponies my ass"
"Language StarGazer" says Rose Beat
"Sorry"

You lay your head on Rose Beats shoulder

"Why is life so complicated?" you ask
"I don't know" Rose Beat says stroking your mane

You two sit there in silence. Your head is still on Rose Beat shoulder while she strokes your mane

"Do you ever wish you could go back in time and stop yourself from doing stupid stuff?" you ask
"Yes" Rose Beat answers
"Like what?"
"Well" she stops and thinks "I would stop myself from listening to you and Jack Hammer about that sour candy" Rose Beat say bopping your nose

You lift your head of Rose Beat shoulder and start to laugh

"It wasn't that funny" she say with a giggle
"Yes it was, you should of seen your face" you say while still laughing

After a while you stop laughing and relax

"What do you wish you could stop yourself from doing?" Rose Beat ask
"I would stop myself from falling in love" you say with a depressed face

Rose Beat notices how upset you are and she gets up and goes to what she likes to call 'The Music Room'

She comes out with a guitar and sits down next to you again

She starts to tune up the guitar and she clears her throat

Just imagine a girl singing this

You smile at your sister and she smiles back and she gives you a little hug

"Do you think maybe I could spend the night here?" You ask
"Of course you can, but why?
"Because I don't feel like going back to Mum and Dad and there millions of questions like 'How are you feeling?' 'Are you alright?' Are you over her yet?' bla bla bucking bla" you explain
"Language"
"Sorry"
"Would you like a cup of tea?" Rose beat asks
"Please"

You toss and turn on the sofa with a blanket and a pillow under your head. You start to make frustrated noises because you can't sleep

You hear a door open down the hallway and see your sister walk out rubbing her eyes

"Star are you okay?" she ask with tired eyes
"yeah, I can't get to sleep that's all" You explain while sitting up on the sofa

Rose Beat walk over to her kitchen area and pulls out a plate of cookies out of the shelf and pours a glass of milk an puts them in the microwaves

Rose Beat stops the microwave before it can make the beeping noise

She levitates the plate out of the microwave with her magic and brings them over to you and places with on the coffee table in front of you

"Eat up little brother" she says sitting next to you

You grab the glass of milk and some cookies and start eating

"So why couldn't you sleep?" Rose Beats
"I don't know, I guess I was remembering what happened in ponyville" you say then take a bite out of a cookie and drink some milk
"Will you ever go back there?"

You stay silent

Rose Beat looks at you with worried eyes

"I don't think anyone wants me back" you say finishing a cookie "But I can't say I don't regret going there, It was my little adventure" you say with a reassuring smile

Your sister smiles back at you

After you finished all cookies and drank the glass of milk you start to feel light headed and fall back onto your pillow

"Always works" you hear your sister say before you fall asleep

You lift your head off your pillow and see Rose Beat sitting in her arm chair reading a magazine

"Morning little brother" She say with a smile
"Morning" you say rubbing your eyes "What's the time?"
"About one thirty" she say while turning a page of her magazine

You sit on the sofa and look at the plate and empty glass in front of you

You look over at your sister who has a huge smile on her face

You give a small smile and a chuckle

You get off the sofa a stretch

"I think I should be getting back home, Mum and Dad are probably worried about me"
"They know you're here, they came knocking earlier asking if you stayed the night" Rose Beat says turning another page in her magazine
"How did I not hear them?" you ask
"Maybe because you fall into a deep sleep after you've had some warm milk and cookies" Rose Beat says with a small smile and a giggle
"I'm going to head home anyway"
"Okay" your sister says getting up from her arm chair and walking towards you "I'll see you soon" she continues and pulls you into a hug
"Alright" you say returning her hug

You brake away from the hug and walk towards the door

"Thanks for letting me stay the night" you say as you walk out the door
"Any time little brother" Rose Beat says

You walk down the stairs and walk out the apartment building

You didn't feel like flying so you decide that your going to walk

You walk down the streets of Fillydelphia with a blank mood walking back to your house. You come to a stop and look at your second favorite food store. number one being sugar cube corner. You start to wonder weather or not to get something to eat.

You shrug and walk in with your head down

The bell rings as you walk in

You walk over to the counter

"What can I get you?" A mare you looks about a two years younger then you asks
"Just a strawberry cupcake please"
"Coming right up cutie" she says with a wink and walks to the back

You roll your eyes

She come with your cupcake and places it on the counter

"That's be three bits please"

You place three bit on the counter and take the cupcake

"STARGAZER!!"

You turn around to see...... Altair

Altair was a dark blue unicorn with a lighter blue mane and a star constellation for a cutie mark and not to mention that hes your best friend. When both of 6 years old when you become friends. During school Altair didn't have any friends, so you decided you would go and talk to him. After a while you both started to share the same interests. After that you two became best friends

"Hey Altair" you say greeting him
"Haven't seen you in ages man, where have you been?" he asks
"I moved to this town called ponyville to get away from the city life" you answer
"And how was it?"

You walk over to a table and sit down. Altair take the opposite to you

"Well it's a long story"

You finish telling your story to Altair who has a mixed reaction on his face

"That must of been hard coming out of that relationship" He says
"It was"
"So you guys actually...you know...did it?" he ask

You nod your head slowly

"Wow"

You finish your cupcake. It's not as good as sugarcube corners

"So what about you, what have you been going?" you ask
"Little this, Little that.....Star Constellations" he say
"You're the smartest pony I know, but you say the most stupidest stuff sometimes"
"I know" He says with a smile
"And that's what I love about you"

You look at the clocks that's placed on the wall

You get up from your seat

"I'll see you around" you say to Altair

You hoof bump and you walk towards the door

You walk out of the stop and walk down the street

Soon you get tackled to the ground

You open your eyes to see wine colored irises looking back at you
