Chapter 18
You walking into your home and head towards the couch, you fall onto the couch and let out a happy sigh. As you were about to close your eye and about to have a little nap the door swings open. You sit up and look over to the door to see Rainbow Dash with a folder in her mouth.
She places the folder on the table and walks over to you.
"You would never guess what just happened" She say frantically
"What?" you ask

Rainbow Dash lands at a table where all her friends are waiting for her.
"Hey girls" Rainbow Dash greets them
"Howdy Rainbow" Applejack greets her back
Dash sits down in a empty seat
"How have you guys been?" Dash asks taking one of the manu's
"I've been good, the business has been a little slow " Say rarity steering her tea
"Are you lady's ready to order" A stallions voice says catching all of there attention
After ordering there lunch they go back to there conversations. Applejack said she manged to complete the whole of the east field, Twilight did some reports for the princess and some experiments, Fluttershy found some more animals and Pinkie Pie still being herself and been pulling pranks and party's for ponies.
After a while there lunch was served and they didn't hesitate to dig in to there food. A couple of minutes later they were half way down with there food.
"YOU!!!" a voice shouts
They turn towards the sound of the yelling to see none other then Scootaloo's drunken father, he has some suitcases with him and a folder. He slams the folder in front of Dash. The rainbow maned mare looks up at the drunk stallion in confusion.
"There" he begins "There's all the paper work, all you need is to sign it and she's all yours"
"W-What?" Dash asks in shock
"You said it yourself, you're more of a family to her then I am" He yells "So take, I'm leaving this town anyway" he continues then grabbing his suitcase
"You can't just leave your daughter like this" say Applejack
"Watch me" Sky Rider say then flying away

You stare at Rainbow in Shock
"That really happened?" you question
"Yeah" she says "Would I ever make stuff up like that" she continues with a serious face
"Okay, okay" you say trying to calm her down
They was a awkward silence between both of you. You know that you both are asking the same question, and you're both to nervous to say it out loud.
"So, you think we should sign the paper" Dash ask braking the silence
"Well..." you say scratching your neck "Do you want too?"
Dash stays quiet for a couple of second before speaking again.
"Yes, Yes I do" she say with a smile,
You smile back at her and get off the sofa and walk towards the folder that Dash placed on the table earlier. You grab the file and take out the adoption form and place it on the table. Dash garbs a pen and looks at you.
"You ready?" She say holding the pen in her mouth
You give her a nod, She signs the dotted line with her initials. She hoofs over the pen over to you and you also sign the paper with your initials next to Dash's. You set the pen down and now it's official, you and Dash are now the official guardians of Scootaloo.
"So, it's now official" Dash begins "We are now the official gardens of one awesome little filly"
"Yep" you say with a smile
You press your lip on Dash's and stand in a kiss.
"Rainbow Dash, StarGazer!" a little voice shouts from the outside the house
You and Dash stop kissing and trot outside. You look over the edge of the cloud to see a little orange filly waiting to back up onto the cloud. Dash flys down and grabs the filly and fly back to the cloud. The three of you head back into the house. As you walk into the middle of the house, you and Dash turn to Scootaloo
"Scootaloo" Dash says slowly "We have something to tell you"
"What is it?" Scootaloo say tilting her head
"Well, your Dad left Ponyville and said that he's not coming back"
Scootaloo looks down at the floor and mutters the word "Good".
"But, not only have one peace of news to tell you" You say with a cocky tone
"What's the good news" Scoots asks
"Why don't you read it for yourself" Dash say hoofing over the adoption paper
Scootaloo takes the paper and reads it. As her eyes scans the paper, tears start to dell up and slowly run down her face. She places the paper on the floor and then look up at you and Dash. Scootaloo doesn't say anything so just jumps up at Dash and you. You and Dash hold Scootaloo in a hug without saying a word.
"Thank you so much" She say still with tears running down her face "I love you guys"
"We love you too, Scoots" Dash for you and herself
