Chapter 13
"THREE MONTHS!!!" you shout
"StarGazer please calm down" Rose Beat says
Rose Beat has always been the best out of everypony you know to calm you down. But not this time. You just found out that your sisters colt friend has been abusing her and there is no way that you're going to let this slide of your shoulder.
"NO! Why didn't you tell anypony?"
"Because he said that he would hurt me even more"
"That's it I'm not just gonna stand here and let this continue." you say
"What do you mean Star?" Rainbow Dash asks
"I'm gonna go to Fillydelphia and give this stallion a peace of my mind" you say with anger
"Wait what?" asks Rose Beat
"You herd me, be back in a couple of hours or so" you say to dash then giving her and kiss on the cheek and then turning around to walk to the train station
You out of the park and walk through ponyville and walk towards the train station without saying a word. You that Rose Beat is following you but you had one think on your mind at the moment. You buy a train ticket and wait for the train with Rose Beat.
"Please don't make this any worse" Rose Beat says but you just ignore her
It wasn't long before the train arrived. You get on and had your ticket to the ticket pony and take a seat with Rose Beat sitting next you you.
The train stops and Fillydelphia and you both get off and walk through the city with Rose Beat close beside you
"Please StaGazer just turn around and go back home"
"Does Jack Hammer know about this?" you ask her
She shakes her head
You find the apartment building you where looking for and walk up two flights of stairs and knock on one of the doors. You wait for the door to open. After a couple of seconds the door opens reveling a big brown coated and brown maned unicorn stallion with a Jack Hammer cutie mark.
"Hey little bro, Hey Little sis what up?" he greets you and Rose Beat
"Hey Jack Hammer" you greet him back "Did you know that our sister is in a abusive relationship?"
"What?!?" he ask with anger
"Yeah, and apparently this abuse has been going on for three months"
Jack Hammers walks back into his apartment and grabs his keys
"Peach Mane!" Jack Hammer shouts in his apartment
"Yeah!" say a female voice
"I'm going out, I got some business to attend too!" say Jack Hammer
"Alright, see ya soon" says the female voice
He then walks back out shutting the door behind him.
"Peach Mane?" you asks
"Yeah, my marefriend" he says
"Nice"
"Anyway, Where does this mother bucker live?" he asks Rose Beat
"Just down the street" she says
You, Jack Hammer and Rose Beat walk through Fillydelphia heading towards Rose Beats colt friend apartment.
"What this colts name?" you ask
"Shine Bright" she says
You finds 'Shine Brights' apartment building and walk up a couple of stairs before find his door?
"Stay here" Jack Hammer says to Rose Beat and then knocking on the door
Jack Hammer knocks on the door. he door opens to show an gray earth pony with a sliver mane and tail.
"Can I help you?" he asks
"Are you Shine Bright?" You asks
"Yes"
"Good, we just need to asks you some questions" Jack Hammer says then makes and green aura around Shine Bright and lifting him and setting him over to his sofa
You and Jack Hammer walk in to his apartment and you close the door behind you. Jack Hammer still has his aura around Shine Bright. You two walk over to him.
"Who the hay are you two?" Shine Bright asks in fear while still trapped in Jack Hammer's magic
"I'm Jack Hammer and this is my little brother StarGazer" Jack Hammer say introducing himself and you, while letting Shine Bright out of his aura
"You're dating a mare by the name of Rose Beat, am I correct?" You ask
"Yeah, how did you know?" he asks
"Well we're her brothers" says Jack Hammer
"Uh-oh"
"Yeah, uh-oh" you say
"Now, my little sister tole my little brother StarGazer that you've been hitting her, am I right?" asks Jack Hammer
He stays silent
"I'll take that as a yes" you says
"Now, we want to know why?"
He keeps silent
"TELL US!!!" Jack Hammer shouts
"Because I have anger issues!" Shine Bright shouts
"And you take it out on our sister?!" you ask
"I don't mean too, It just happens" he says
"I don't buy it" Jack Hammer says
"I can't help my anger alright, I've been trying to get it under control, but I take control over me" he say looking down at the floor
"Alright listen" you say placing a hoof on his shoulder "Here's what you're gonna do, you're gonna find some other way to take out your anger instead on use our sister alright"
Shine Bright nods in agreement
"And if we find out you've hit our sister again, Jack Hammer here is going to knock you into next week. you got it?" You say looking into Shine Bright's eyes
He nods again
"Good" say Jack Hammer "We'll take our leave"
You and Jack Hammer walk towards the front door of his apartment and walk out. You see Rose Beat at the top of the stairs waiting for you.
"You didn't hurt him did you?" asks Rose Beat
"Of course not, we just had a little talk" say Jack Hammer
"I don't think he'll be hitting you anytime soon, knowing that Jack Hammer will have his eye on him" you say nugging your brother
"Thank you guys" Rose Beat say hugging you and Hammer
"No problem sis" you say hugging her back
You, Jack Hammer and Rose Beat head back down the stairs and walk out the apartment building. Jack Hammer walk off the his apartment while you and Rose Beat head back to the train station.
You wait for the train to arrive with Rose Beat
"So...what are you and Dash gonna do with Scootaloo?" Rose Beat asks
"Well she staying with us for a while, we couldn't let her go back to an abusive parent" you say
"Parent?"
"Yeah..her....her mother left home a couple of weeks ago" you say with sad eyes
"Oh, well lets hope you and Dash can help her"
"We plan too" you say with a smile
The train arrives and Rose Beat gives you another hug
"Thank you for everything" she says whispering in your ear
"Anytime sis"
You arrive back in Ponyville and walk out of the train station. You fly up into the air and fly back home.
You land in front of the front door. You open the door and walk into the house
"Guess who's back" you say closing the door behind you
You get no response. The house is silent. You walk around the whole house seeing if Dash or Scootaloo is in. You walk into the main room, No pony is inside. You sit down on the sofa and pat your knee. It's kinda freaks you out a little because of how silent the house.
Knock Knock
You head over to front door and open it. You see standing on the other side of the door is Cloudchaser.
"What?" you asks
"I just wanted to ask you something" she says
"Well....."
"I just wanted to ask with me and you could-"
"No" you say cutting her off
"But I didn't finish "
"I don't care" you say shrugging "If this is some attempt to try to be with me, it's not gonna work"
"But I-"
"Me and Dash are together why can't you except that a move on?!" you asks
You see Dash flying toward the house with Scootaloo on her back
"Leave now" you say
Cloudchaser turns around and fly's off without saying a word. Dash lands in front of you
"What was that about?" she asks
"She wanted to asks me something" you say walking back into the house
"What did she asks?" Dash asks while Scootaloo jumps of her back
"I don't know I cut her off half way through" you say smirking while sitting on the sofa
"Oh okay" Dash saying over to you and sitting down "How did It go?"
"Huh?"
"With your sisters coltfriend?"
"We got it work out....hopefully" you say looking at Dash
For the rest of the day you didn't really do anything interesting you just sat around the house helping Scootaloo with her homework and some other stuff.
Luna moon was high above the sky and shining bright.
You and Dash lay on the sofa together while Scootaloo is on the cloud flooring playing with a wonderbolt's jigsaw puzzle. You see Scootaloo let out a little yawn
"Are you tired Scootaloo?" you asks
"No" she says
"Scootaloo" you say lifting a eyebrow
"I'm not tired" she say with tired eyes
"Scoot, it's time for you to go to bed, you got school in the morning" say Dash
"But-"
"No buts Scootaloo, go brush your teeth" says Dash
"Okay" Scootaloo say with a disapointed tone
Scootaloo gets up and walk to the bath room. After a couple of minutes Scootaloo walk out of the bathroom and walk toward her bedroom
"Goodnight guys, I love you guys" she say
You and Dash look at each other in shock and smile
"We love you too, Scootaloo" Dash say
"That rhymed" you say whispering to dash which causes her to giggle
Scootaloo door closes and you lay there speechless from that sudden out brush from Scootaloo. And yet you had a smile on your face.
"Well" Dash say braking the silence "I did not expect that"
"Me neither" you say looking at Dash "It felt kinda satisfying"
"Almost as satisfying as this?" dash asks before kissing you on the lips
"THAT more satisfying"
Dash smiles at you and then kisses you on the lips again
