Starlight Sparkle is the son of Twilight Sparkle and her husband James. After the defeat of The Master, he stopped traveling with his parents to live in Ponyville as the new teacher at the Ponyville Schoolhouse. With his sisters Rei and Del, brother Satsuma, fillyfriend Apple Bloom and all their friends, they will live their lives, find new loves and experience all the joys life has to offer. Come join them.

Setting: Approximately a eight years after the end of the series and seven years after The Wandering Physicist Adventures. No backtracking required as referenced events are linked in chapter!

They now want to show off their skills in public in hope they will finally get their cutie marks. Conflicted between their dreams for the future and their friendship, they make the decision to become traveling sales ponies.
But their families are right when they tell them that Equestria is a dangerous place.

The journey they set forth on will not only change their future, but their whole lives forever.....

This first chapter was written for Round #9 of the Season 4 Writer's Training Grounds of Equestria Daily for "Twilight Time".
But there's more to come, I have planned this as a very long, on-going story!

A darkness stirs in the Kingdom of Solenis. Bandits roam the open fields and monsters rise against the smaller towns. Within the city walls of the capital, mysterious figures known as the seven work in secret to bring down an empire that has lasted a millennium.

A dragon shaman with a shame filled past. An eccentric Zebra travelling the world. A fast talking griffon, a reserved changeling, and a pegasus looking to prove herself. Their paths cross one fateful evening in a small town tavern. Will they be able to overcome their differences and rise to face the shadows, or will they fall to obscurity, crushed beneath the weight of the challenges ahead?

This is a "Ponies play Dungeons and Dragons" Fic taking place in the Discordant AU, but will hopefully be enjoyable by readers who have never read my other stories and who have never played D&D. There will be mentions of game mechanics, as the story will jump between the ponies playing the game and the narrative they weave together, but I'll keep the technical details short and simple when they're mentioned at all. This story takes place ten years after the events of the show, between the stories Harmonics and Overgrowth, but again, neither story is necessary to understand this one.

This story will include occasional reader input, such as voting on player actions ("Should we go with Scootaloo's plan of sneaking in, Apple Bloom's plan of shock and awe, or Sweetie Belle's plan of diplomacy? Vote now!") as well as occasional decisions made with dice ("Will Apple Bloom's character make it into the tunnel before it collapses, or be separated from the group? Let's see what the dice say.")

This is a collection of thirty twenty-eight short stories for the National Pony Writing Month I'm participating in.
Every story will be added as a new chapter, to create a big compilation of all the stories I write for it, and will be about different ponies, different locations and different adventures.
There could also be a variety in the length of the stories, depending on it how many ideas come to me while writing, but my general goal is to write 60,000 words, which means every story will have 2,000 words minimum.
I will add a description for each story below as soon as I have written it.

Note: The gore tag and the teen rating are only there because of the first story "Back from the Grave" and because this was the only way to getting it passed through moderation. All the other stories are suitable for "Everyone".

Day 1: Back from the Grave (Dark)
After an attempt to create an own spell, Twilight suddenly has to deal with a horde of undead ponies in Ponyville. Will she and Apple Bloom manage it to safe the town or is everything too late? (Contains slight amount of gore!)

Luna is sure that this is exactly the right way to attract the pegasus' attention.

After Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle blew up the barn while trying to get their cutie marks, they fear Applejack's wrath. While cloudwatching to relax themselves after their failed attempt, Sweetie Belle comes up with an idea how they could calm Applejack down.
An idea that involves a cuteness overload.....

Day 6: How to Polish an Opal (Slice of Life)
Opal has a problem and it's Fluttershy's task to help her deal with it.

Have you ever wondered about it why we have seen Opal acting so aggressive in "Stare Master" back in Season 1, but then in Season 2 suddenly not anymore?
This fanfiction gives an answer on this question.
It also shines a light on the relationship between Opal and Sweetie Belle and gives a hint on it what they have in common.....

Together, they decide to find out how much truth is behind this old legend.....

It's Hearts and Hooves Day and Spike has planned the perfect present for Rarity.
But as the thing he wanted to buy for the mare of his dreams is sold out, everything takes on a different turn and he finds himself assigned with the task to take care of the foals in the Ponyville Kindergarten for one day.
Can Spike handle this task or has he bitten off more than he can chew?

After an unsuccessful attempt to get gamer cutie marks, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle are left with no plans for the afternoon. As their boredom threatens to overwhelm them, a fortunate coincidence brings some money into their hooves.
Using this opportunity, they buy a big amount of ice cream and try to get cutie marks in ice cream eating, which causes unpredictable consequences for the three young fillies.....

Day 17: Justice and Revenge (Slice of Life, Sad)
Dinky lashes out at Diamond Tiara for insulting her beloved mom and in the aftermath of their confrontation, Diamond Tiara suddenly has to face real consequences for her actions for once. But will the bully give up so easily? No.
What Diamond Tiara has in mind is revenge.....

Day 18: The Future She Was Not Supposed To Know (Comedy)
The Equestria of the future is very different:
Futuristic skyscrapers, ponies who look like squids, cyber ponies. And no nature or free living animals anymore.
Discord saw this future, but he decided to keep it a secret from Fluttershy and the Cutie Mark Crusaders.
But now Fluttershy is asking about the future that he didn't show them.
Will Discord manage it to prevent her from finding out about the future she is not supposed to know?

Day 19: Something is following you (Dark)
After watching the premiere of a scary movie in cinema together with her friends and Rainbow Dash late at night, Apple Bloom makes her way home to Sweet Apple Acres alone.
She's a big pony and she was not scared of the movie, so walking home at midnight would be an easy feat for her.
But when she hears mysterious hoofsteps behind her and a voice whispering to her, she has to face what horrors the night can contain.....

Day 20: Woodpecker Day (Random, Comedy, Slice of Life)
It was Woodpecker Day on Sweet Apple Acres. The one day of the year every member of the Apple Family dreaded.

But this year she was going to find out the reason for it.

Day 21: Ya Packed The Bug Spray? or How Applejack Met A Moth (Slice of Life, Adventure)
At the end of her camping trip to Winsome Falls together with Apple Bloom, her friends and their big sisters, Applejack has a strange encounter with a moth.
For other ponies, this wouldn't be too bad, but Applejack feared moths.
To her bad luck, this encounter should just be the beginning of a very unusual relationship with the hairy insect.....

Set in Slitherpon's "Moody Mark Crusaders" universe. Having read the comic is necessary in order to understand the story completely.

After their time travel with Discord and Fluttershy, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle get a chance to see the Gryphon Kingdom, as Discord accidentally takes a wrong turn on their way back to Ponyville.
And as a defect of the time machine causes it that they can spend more time there than expected, they are eager to experience another adventure.
But as they meet a gryphon in the town who invites them into his home, they end up with more adventure than they desired.....

The prophecy has been fulfilled. The ancient race known as the Sleipnir have returned, resulting in a shattered Equestria and leaving little hope for all ponies. Equestrians look to Griffonia for help, although the winged beasts seek to claim Equestria for themselves. Ponykind's only remaining strength lies in the Crystal Empire, whose citizens grow afraid of the threats around them.

Among the greater power struggle between ponies, Griffons, and Sleipnir, several ponies seek to make some kind of peace for all. Fluttershy, who learned of her ability to communicate with the Sleipnir, envisions a world where she can live peacefully with her remaining friends, without having to resort to violence. In the southern deserts of Zebrawe and Saddle Arabia, the Cutie Mark Crusaders fight for their own lives against the Changelings. Will they be all be able to rejoin and survive the inevitable battles to come?

Because of how multiple events take place at the same time and throughout the world, the narrative is split into chapters each focusing on a different character or group of characters. In this story, there are 6:

-Fluttershy, who is traveling south in order to confront the Sleipnir and find her friends.
-Berry Bunches, the filly Fluttershy had saved, who awaits her safe return in the Crystal Empire.
-Twilight Sparkle, newly-dubbed Princess of Equestria along with Princess Cadence.
-The Cutie Mark Crusaders: Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, and Sweetie Belle. Lost with Spike in the southern deserts.
-Peyton, a loyal griffon soldier of the Griffonian empire.
-Roddel, a Sleipnir knight with a troubled past.

I am called many names. The guardian and destoyer of worlds, the headless horseman of Death. But I don't mind that much.

I had saved humanity from destruction in just a few years. Took control of the worlds nuclear aresenl and stop the aggressors who wanted to use them for harm stop.

That led to the Third World War, which I help crush the enemy Roque states and finally, in years, humanity and peace were united for the first time.

I am leading Humanity to a great age in space exploration. I had recently discovered a new way to travel across the universe.

I don't have any parents. I have to live at the nearby orphanage. It sucks and the other foals there are Jenks and bullies because of my poor flight skills.

What have I got myself into?

It's the summer solstice, so Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, & their friends decide to travel around the world in one day in an effort to create the "Biggest, Longest, Funnest summer day of all time". But not everyone believes they can actually achieve what they've set out to do, leading them to get some encouraging words, in the form of a duet, from Trixie Lulamoon and Countess Coloratura. Meanwhile, Dr. Discord takes a father-daughter trip to Tokyo with Twilight.

Kurt Smith, a classmate of John Radderson aka Twilight Sparkle's, agreed to help Twilight after she came to school with purple fur, hooves, wings, and a horn. After acquiring the Elements of Harmony, Twilight's friends end up becoming anthropomorphic versions of the Mane 6 and Spike the Dragon, Twilight's faithful assistant. Together, they will solve the mysteries of friendship in their new lives and in the lives of others. Kurt ends up becoming connected to the Element of Honesty, transforming him into Applejack. AJ enrolls at school under the name "Ashley J. Smith".

The characters presented below are the most prominent in the story. Even though a character not pictured below has significance in one part does not mean they are significant to the whole story.

Also, just because a character is pictured below does not mean that they are to be shipped into an inexistent relationship or shipped out of their canon relationship (i.e. Princess Cadence and Shining Armor). Their presence below is dictated by their role in the story as a whole, not for the "sexytimes."
