A teenage Apple Bloom feels the need to run away from home in order to find her place in the world. While running away she happens to run into Spike, who is running away as well, so the two eventually decide to go together. Now Apple Bloom has to figure out what is causing Spike to run away and try to help, while Spike had to try and find his own hope.

A short existential horror. Apple Bloom accidentally time travels a fraction of a second into the past, and realises she's the only one there. The world continues on around her, yet she's not in it.

The present is an infinitely thin span of time bordered by endless past and future. Everyone you know and love balances on that line. What if you fell off?

She discovers her place in the Orange family and the bright lights of Manehattan, teaches a new circle of friends the Crusader way of life, and learns more about herself than she ever dreamed possible.

Zecora, the zebra shamaness has lived in the Everfree Forest for some time, but has never gone beyond except for the sake of finding roots and herbs for her potions that her woods cannot supply. But upon making friends with young Apple Bloom and later Twilight and her companions, she has taken it upon herself to travel beyond for a time. Stopping at Sweet Apple Acres for a minute to speak with Applejack, she catches the eye of Macintosh. The stallion falls for Zecora at first sight and then does something very poorly thought out to prove himself to her...

This story is a sequel to A Dying Hope

The last thing she remembers is being attacked by the things she calls "creepy-crawly death-dealers" and blacking out. She stumbles around in the darkness until a light shines and shows her the way to the two most important ponies from her life: her parents.

As Apple Bloom spends more time with the ponies that were taken from her too soon, she realizes that she has a unique opportunity; she has the ability to spend the rest of her afterlife with her parents. This realization, though promising, does not come without consequences, and Apple Bloom finds herself making the single most important decision of her existence.

New York City: capital of the United Nations and as far removed from Ponyville as is equinely possible. For a pony unacquainted with the cities of an interstellar civilisation, getting to travel to and explore New York is a delightful (if somewhat overwhelming) experience. For Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom who are cooped up with their sisters and Princess Twilight Sparkle on a diplomatic mission, it was anything but.

Thankfully, Sweetie knows of a place where she and Apple Bloom can pass the time.

Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle are excited. The day had finally come where they would travel together with Apple Bloom to Appleloosa to watch her big sister competing in the local rodeo.
Unfortunately, on the very day of their departure, Apple Bloom falls sick. Leaving her little sister in the care of Big McIntosh and Granny Smith, Applejack travels to Appleloosa with Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle only.
Having arrived there, the two fillies are determined to get their cutie marks on this trip and to surprise Apple Bloom when they return.
But when a wanted outlaw threatens them, the events take a whole different turn for them and the two friends make a dangerous decision they might regret later on.....

Sweetie Belle has had great success so far in her career as a singer. It is a glamorous life. She travels all over Equestria, meets nobility, famous and common ponies alike, and spreads her special talent to all those who can enjoy it. However, great success often comes at great personal sacrifice. Is there a point where that sacrifice becomes too much for Sweetie Belle?
