So I just saw Crusaders of the Lost Mark (spoilers, natch) and it totally obliterated my headcanon for Time Crusade. Lately it's been better, but I've had a bunch of distractions to deal with, mostly in the form of family and doing favors for said family. There's still some editing to do, and I want to include an illustration this time, so I won't be putting it up right away. You can probably expect to see it within a week or so, though.

Time Crusade now has over 1000 favorites.

Though, curiously, only just over 600 likes. I'm guessing a lot of people find it interesting but are reserving judgement until later. I personally tend to do it the other way around, but I admit it probably makes more sense using favorites for tracking ongoing fics rather than archiving finished ones. They should probably call it something different, really. "Follows" would make sense, though it's kinda already taken.

It's still not finished, goddammit.

...But more importantly, it's turned out to be longer than I anticipated - the parts I have written already exceed 10k words.

As such, I have now more or less decided to split the chapter into two parts. The first one (henceforth chapter 3) will be around 6k word, the other (chapter 4) will probably end up somewhat longer.

So, I seem to be suffering from spring fatigue.

For about a week now, I've been constantly sleepy, tired and weary - sometimes just zoning out and forgetting which room I'm in. Ironically, I can't recall last time I slept as well as I do now, yet while I'm awake my brain feels like mush. Naturally, this makes it hard for me to get any work done on my stories, which is annoying since I still feel extremely inspired.

My cold virus turned out to be unusually stubborn, but I can feel that my powers are slowly returning. On the other hand, something weird appears to have happened to my sleep cycle - not only does my body want to stay up until eight in the morning but it also seems to want to sleep a lot more than it should, in the ballpark of ten to eleven hours a night. I have no idea why. Usually I only sleep that much when I'm seriously sleep deprived. It's really kinda annoying.
