The jet doors opens with the gang crawling out of the Sunbeater 3000, most of the group look a bit messed up from the crash. Once on solid ground, Scootaloo shook her head, regaining her senses.

"All right gang, we made it to Maris. We need fuel and parts so we need to split up."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Back on Gummy's hovercraft, Discord was back in the back seat, looking at his tracker.

"According to this sdƃ, Twilight's in some place called sıɹɐɯ. Hmm..." Discord stroke his beard, humming in thought. Gummy rolled his eyes before reaching back and turns over the GPS. Discord gasped happily.

"Oh, Maris! That makes a lot more sense. That's actually where she wanted to go. Good for her." he said nodding, but felt a pang of guilt as well.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Scootaloo looked over the checklist she and Apple Bloom made.

"Okay, everypony, let's get going. Rarity, you go see Spike." Rarity winked at the girls.

"Way ahead of you!" she said before running off. Scootaloo nodded before turning to Twist and Babs.

"Twist and Babs, you guys go scare up the fuel we need." Babs glared at the pegasus.

"You're still gonna lose," she said before smirking wickedly, "but do I like scaring things." Scootaloo watched them leave before turning to her sister.

"Apple Bloom, why don't you go to the Eiffel Tower and get a reading on the trade winds?" Twilight gasped excitedly. She quickly levitated Apple Bloom onto her back.

"Hop on!" she said before trotting off, Apple Bloom holding tightly Twilight's neck. Scootaloo sighed gently before looking at Sweetie Belle.

"I'm going to go see if I can go find some parts. Sweetie, you want to come with me?" Sweetie Belle couldn't help but squeal excitedly.

"YES!" she shouted before clearing her throat, trying to act nonchalant. "I mean, yeah, sure, you know, whatever. It's all good, bro." Scootaloo gave her a strange look before shrugging and started walking, Sweetie close to her heals, giggling

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rarity was wandering the streets, trying to find what hotel her Spikey-Wikey was in, a Prench-Equestrian dictionary in her magical grip.

"Okay. Jeremy's staying in the hotel La Poubelle. La Poubelle, La Poubelle, La Poubelle... " She gasped as she saw a mare walking the street and approached her, dictionary in her face. "Oh, pardonaise-moi, madam." The mare in question stopped and raised an eyebrow.

"Oui?" Rarity flipped through the pages of her book.

"Une moment. Can you tell me... Oh, 'Pouvaise-vous me dire' uh..." she groaned slightly as the mare chuckled.

"Can I tell you directions? It's okay, I speak Equestrian." she said, but Rarity was too distracted from her book to pay much attention.

"Yes. I speak Equestrian. Parlais Equestrian. Uh, ou est la Hotel Poubelle?" the mare pointed at the end of the street, smirking slightly.

"It's just around the corner." she said. Rarity groaned, flipping trough her pages again.

"Ugh, around the corner, around the corner, 'oh quan de la rou-ee?'" The mare stifled a giggle.

"Oui." Rarity flipped trough her book before sighing, slamming it shut.

"Oh, never mind. I'll find it myself." she thanked the mare before walking off. As she turns around the corner, she gasped in surprise when she saw the hotel.

"Hey, Hotel Poubelle! It was just around the corner!" she gasped once ore when she saw her little drake standing alone. "There he is! Spi -- " Rarity was about to call him but stopped herself. Spike waved at a few ponies who came over and chat. It look like they were all friends. Usually that wouldn't bother Rarity much but, most of those ponies were mares. Him and the group talked and laughed and... her Spike looked so happy. Without her... She sighed before turning around and walking away, leaving Spike and his new Prench friends behind.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Both Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle walked side by side in the streets, Sweetie couldn't be more happy! She batted her eyelashes at the orange pegasus.

"So Scootaloo, what do you think of the City of Love?" she asked, but Scootaloo looked distracted, oblivious of the unicorn.

"I wish it was the City of Airplane Parts." she muttered, Sweetie rolled her eyes.

"Oh, you're just too stressed. You should take a moment to relax and enjoy it." She saw a restaurant and smiled, dragging along her crush.

Babs and Twist were walking on the streets of Maris, stopping in front of a restaurant.

"Now Babs, your mindless bullying may have a rustic charm stateside, but now we are in Europe. A place of high refinement. So let me do all the talking." They go inside a restaurant and meat a stallion who speaks with in a different accent.

"Excuse me, sir. Would you have any used cooking oil that we could have?" said Twist, but the stallion raised an eyebrow.

"Non." Twist shivered slightly.

"Ohh, the Prench are so intimidating!" Babs rolled her eyes and stepped foward.

"Out of my way, runt." Twist shook her head.

"Do not do anything too crazy!"

Babs walked up to the fancy stallion, blew her bangs out of her face, opened her mouth and;

"Excusez-moi mon bon monsieur. Auriez-vous par hazard un soupçon d'huile de cuisson que nous pourrions utiliser sans nous démerder un sou?" (Excuse me, good sir. Would you by chance have a touch of cooking oil that we could use without losing a penny?) Twist jaw fell to the ground. The stallion smiled and nodded his head politely.

"But of course."

Twist stares in disbelief at Babs, who quickly notices and glares at her.

"Not one word about that to the others." she muttered.

Scootaloo stares deeply at a bread store as a stallion is taking some giant, fake baguettes off of the front. Her smile widened, getting an idea.

"Pardonnez-moi, monsieur, are you throwing those away?" The stallion nodded.

"C'est les ordres." Sweetie sighed, bored out of her mind.

"This is about the plane, isn't it?" Scootaloo raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"Well yeah, what else?"

"Well, I guess we'll always have giant plastic baguettes." Sweetie Belle muttered.

On top of Eiffel Tower, both Apple Bloom and Twilight were talking, well Twilight was anyway. Apple Bloom was still working on the wind coordinator.

"I don't know, Apple Bloom. I know he's my dad and I shouldn't blame him for being busy, it's just that...he always seems to put his work ahead of me." She sighs. "I just don't know what to do." Apple Bloom took the pencil out of her mouth and look at the older mare.

"Well, sometimes if you love somebody, you have to meet them halfway." she said with a shrug. Twilight raised an eyebrow, still looking at the scenery.

"Halfway, huh? Hmm." Apple Bloom looks and sees a flower shop. Thinking that maybe something to eat would make her feel better. She walks up to it as Twilight's talking. "You mean like, maybe I should take an interest in his work? I would but, it's actually evil. I just can't..." She looks to see Apple Bloom is gone. "Apple Bloom?" She looks around confused. She sighed and turn back at the scenery before screaming in shock as she saw Discord floating in front of her.

"Twilight! We've come to rescue you!" Twilight blinked in surprise, shocked.

"Dad? I was just gonna... Wait. What do you mean 'we'?" She looked over the railing and was surprised to see Gummy, Major Celestia and the hovercraft.

"I hitched a ride! You remember these guys, don't you?" Major Celestia nodded her head.

"Hello again, young lady." Twilight couldn't help but glare at Dsiscord.

"I can't believe you brought work with you again!" she said, huffing. Discord raised an eyebrow.

"Work? What do you..." he looked under him and his eyes widened. "Oh, you mean them? No, Major Cakebutt and Gummy the Gator, they...they were helping me find you!" Major Celestia glared as well at Discord.

"Cakebutt?" she said. Discord rolled his eye.

"Oh, come on. I haven't made that joke yet in this whole story! Plus its really showing, for crying out loud!" Major Celestia grumbled, crossing her hooves.

"That's it. I'm getting Luna to change the lunch menu." she muttered. Discord gave Twilight a pleading look.

"Oh, come on, Twilight. I came halfway around the world to get you!" Twilight blinked in surprise.

"Halfway?" Well, sometimes if you love somebody, you have to meet them halfway.

"Yeah, halfway around the world." Twilight pointed to herself, feeling touched.

"You met me halfway." Discord nodded.

"I suppose you could put it that way."

Both Twilight and Discord smile at each other.

"You did, didn't you? You know what Dad, move over. I'm coming with you." Twilight laughed as discord cheered and grabbed her. They hugged before Discord gave her an affectionate noogie.

"Oh, this is great, Twilight! Why don't we talk to these guys for giving us a tour in Maris? We could go check out the Guillotine Museum!" Twilight's eyes shined with excitement while Major Celestia scrunched her nose in disgust.

"Gross."

Apple Bloom comes back to with a rose in hoof, and sees Twilight flying off with Discord. Twilight waved at her as the flew off.

"Bye, Apple Bloom! Thanks for everything!" The young filly smiled and waved back, happy to help out her friend. She pooped the rose into her mouth and went back to work.

Back at the jet with Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, Twist and Babs. Babs and Twist are fixing the boat while Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle stand nearby. Scootaloo nodded her in as they both attached the huge baguettes.

"Well, the baguettes are rubber banded on. That should get us across the Atlantic. Why didn't we think of that in the first place?" she said, chuckling to herself. Sweetie rolled her eyes as she jotted notes on a clip board.

"Gee, I don't know." she muttered sarcastically. Just the, Apple Bloom shows up with the test results. Scootaloo nodded to her, looking around slightly.

"Hey, Apple Bloom. Where's Twilight?" Apple Bloom shrugged, handing her the results.

"She went off with someone else." she said. Scootaloo chuckled again, getting the wrong idea.

"Eh, it was bound to happen. Two ponies, alone in the City of Love. Romance was a forgone conclusion." Sweetie Belle looks on in surprise as she says this before finally breaking her pencil in anger with her magic.

"Grrrr!" she said, but of course Scootaloo was oblivious to the whole thing.

"Sweetie, did you say something?" the unicorn huffed.

"I need a new pencil." she muttered, clearly annoyed. While Apple Bloom handed her a new pencil, Rarity came back looking very depressed. Scootaloo notices this.

"Oh, hey, Rarity. So how'd it go? Did you see Spike?" The older mare sighed.

"Well, I saw him. I just didn't talk to him." Scootaloo raised an eyebrow, confused.

"Oh, that's too bad. I thought, you know, the two of you, a dragon, a mare, alone in the City of Love..." Sweetie Belle reacts the same way as before but instead of breaking her pencil, her head explodes.

"Grrrr!"

"Sweetie Belle?!" Sweetie blinked, showing that she's fine and it was just a dream. Scootaloo shook her shoulder.

"Sweetie Belle, are you okay?" she asked. The unicorn huffed once again, still annoyed.

"Peachy." she muttered, before walking away. Scootaloo shrugged and turned back to Rarity.

"So, what happened?" she asked. Rarity sighed dramatically while walking inside the jet, trying to find a way to explain it to her younger sibling.

"Well, you know when you know somepony, and you see that they have another, like, life away from you and it feels weird?" she said. Scootaloo tilted her head, nodding slightly while following her inside.

"Like when you see your teacher in the grocery store weird? Or like when somepony you've known for a long time starts wearing a cowboy hat weird?" Rarity blinked, trying to process what was she said.

"The...the first thing weird." Scootaloo sighed in relief.

"That's good. 'Cause I was thinking about getting the cowboy hat." Rarity raised an eyebrow at her before continuing.

"It's just... Spike looked like he was having a really good time here. And it suddenly seem creepy and obsessive that I came all this way. What if he doesn't wanna see me? Or came to Maris to get away from me?" Scootaloo patted her on the back, giving her an encouraging smile.

"Rarity, like the song said, you have to believe you can!" Rarity gave her a confused look as Twist looked up at the two.

"I think Rarity may have missed that song." she said. Babs snickered.

"Yeah, man, she was in the house!" Scootaloo gave Rarity an incredulous look.

"What?! You missed Trixie Lulamoon and Countess Coloratura?!" Rarity blinked.

"Uhh...apparently." Scootaloo stared at her for a moment before shaking her head.

"Well, that's too bad. But the jist of it was that you gotta believe in yourself." Rarity scoffed.

"Well, that's easy for you, Scootaloo! Look at all the things you've done. Summer belongs to you." Scootaloo chuckled, shaking her head.

"Summer doesn't belong to me. It belongs to everyone! And that includes you. You have to believe that." Rarity sighed sadly.

"Well, my summer's been a series of failures. I have a hard time believing in anything." Scootaloo gave her a worried look, then brightened up.

"Well...you got on this plane. You know, back when it WAS a plane. Which means you believe in us!" Apple Bloom smiled as well.

"And we believe in you." she said. Scootaloo nodded.

"And therefore, through the transitive property of belief, you do believe in yourself!" Rarity looked at her in disbelief.

"I do?" Scootaloo nodded again, her wings buzzing with excitement.

"Besides, when we did all those things, you were right there with us!" Rarity smiled herself.

"I was, wasn't I?" she said. Scootaloo cheered.

"Yes! You're Rarity Belle! Monster truck driver. Charioteer. Queen of Mars!" Rarity chuckled.

"Well, I am Rarity Belle." Scootaloo back flipped excitedly.

"That's the spirit!" Rarity stood up, getting new found confidence.

"You're right. I'm Rarity Belle! Lifeguard!" she said. Scootaloo whooped.

"That's right, Rarity!" Getting excited, Rarity starts climbing on the plane.

"Time traveler!" Scootaloo winced slightly.

"Don't break the engine!" she shouted but got ignored. Rarity stands on top of the engine before shouting: "I am Rarity Belle! Fashion Designer!" A familiar drake appeared on top of the bridge overhead, looking down at Rarity.

"Rarity?" he said. Rarity looked up and gasped in surprise.

"Spike?!" The dragon chuckled.

"It is you! I was just over there in the taxi and I saw you over..." he raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing here?"

"Well, my sisters have this idea of flying over..." she tried to explain but got cut off.

"Your sisters? Say no more." he said, chuckling. Just then the engine started running. Scootaloo winced once again.

"Oops, we slipped our mooring. Guess we're leaving. Hey Rarity, better wrap it up! Looks like we're on our way." she said. Rarity gasped and turned back to Spike.

"What? No, not yet! I have something I wanted to tell you!" Spike leaned forward, surprised.

"Really, what is it?" Rarity was blushing slightly.

"I wanted to tell you earlier but then I saw you in front of your hotel, with those kids, and the mares with the ice cream..." she got interrupted again by Spike, with a small smirk on his face.

"Rarity, were you spying on me?" Rarity blushed harder.

"No, no, it's just that I saw you and it was like...it was like my teacher wearing a cowboy hat!" she said before face hoofing. The young drake smirked, chuckling even more.

"I would hope my marefriend would have a little trust in me." Rarity gasped, shocked.

"Spike... You said the M-word!" he blushed as well.

"Well, yeah, I used the...oh...ugh, hold on!" he said before running to the other side of the bridge since the jet was still moving forward. He leaned forward at the other side. "Yeah, I used the M-word. It doesn't freak you out, does it?" he asked, but Rarity shook her head, appearing on the other side of the bridge as well.

"No, because I think of you as my S-word." Spike chuckled once again.

"Well, M-word. You want a K-word?" Rarity giggled, blushing madly.

"Heheheh, maybe?"

The two lean in, trying to kiss but the plane continues to slowly drift away. Spike was the first to notice.

"Uhh...Rarity?" he said, but Rarity still had her lips puckered, waiting for the kiss.

"All set, Spike! Start kissin'!"

"Rarity...!" he said, more louder then before. Rarity opens her eyes and sees that he's too far away. She gasped.

"No, no, no, no, no, no!" she looked back at Spike, who looked equally as upset as she did.

"W-Wait, you can't leave now! You would...just get off on the next bridge!" he shouted, however Rarity shook her head.

"I can't, I'm in charge of these girls. I-I gotta be responsible. I'll see you in a week, stallionfriend!" she called back smiling. Spike smiled as well.

"Rarity, you better take your seat." Scootaloo called. Rarity spared one more look at the dragon before sighing and getting back into the jet. Sweetie Belle gave her a small pat on the back.

"Don't worry, Rarity. The week will be over before you know it." she said before adding bitterly, "At least you got a love scene on a bridge."

"Love is a canvas furnished by nature and embroidered by the imagination." Babs quoted, Twist raised an eyebrow.

"Voltaire, Babs? Really?" the brown earth pony shrugged.

"Oh, I can't help it. Maris does it to me every time." Scootaloo looked at the clock, smiling hopefully.

"It's four o'clock, we're on a baguette boat, with a fuel tank filled with snail grease. I have a good feeling about this. Okay everypony, hold on to something!" she said before pressing a button, making the Sunbeater as a boat zooms away at top speed. Scootaloo cheered excitedly.

"Ohohoh, YEEAH!" she looked at Apple Bloom. "We're almost to Le Havre harbour, Apple Bloom. After that, it's nothing but an open ocean and a couple of remote islands! We should be home in no time!" Her smile dropped however when she notices a huge ship blocking the way. "Huh, well that might be a problem." Up above, Discord pointed up.

"Hey, check it out! It's my giant water balloon!" The balloon crashes and creates a giant wave that lets the baguette boat pass over the ship, zooming away. Everypony in the jet/boat cheered as they surfed the wave, the radio randomly started playing.
