This story is a sequel to The Wandering Physicist Adventures
Seven years after the wedding on Twilight Sparkle and James Wanderer, life in Ponyville is pretty normal.
Apple Bloom runs the library for Twilight Sparkle. Applejack and her son have a happy family life. Sweetie Belle attends music school in Canterlot, living with her sister in Rarity's new shop. Scootaloo works full-time for Rei, who is finally married to Inkie, while training to join Rainbow Dash as a Wonderbolt. Fluttershy and Sunshine raise two lovely foals of their own. Pinkie and the Cake twins work to make everypony in town happy. Trixie, Stormy and their daughter travel the world performing. Just normal life for everypony.
One day, The Master shows up in Ponyville to torment his old 'friend', The Wandering Physicist. Instead, he ends up harassing everypony TWP cares for as a distraction while he tries to conquer Equestria. Everypony will have to keep their wits about them to survive the threat of the deranged Time Lord and prevent him from destroying the land they love.
Sequel to The Wandering Physicist Adventures - Written in a manner so that all necessary backstory is covered within. No real need to read TWP, but it is appreciated.

To be fair, I cannot remember why 'satsuma' stuck in my mind. I honestly searched for actual apples to name him after, but I kept going back to Satsuma. And yes, his name was because of Doctor Who, like Stormy

and the doctor has to conquer the world right back. using the master's weaknesses.
its the dynamic they have. they know each other's weaknesses and use them.

I do like, however, that you referenced the right number to coorespond with the fact that horses have about a month longer gestation period than humans, allowing for the fact that Satsuma may be the illegitimate offspring of Mr. Wanderer and AJ. Headcanon!
All that was running through my head was a flashback of Jessica Rabbit saying "I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way." Sorry, Pumpkin, you were written by TWP, you arent allowed normal slice-of-life.

So, im just gonna say, I'm so used to seeing scootabuse in fanfictions, that the idea of scootaloo havign the ability to soak up extra punishment was extremely hilarious for me.
you know what would make this better? if Del were there, and broke the storyline.

The Golden Rule prevents me from saying exactly what i thought of this. This ending made me rather unhappy, since it completely invalidated my investment in the storyline.

this is another reason i do re-reads. I'm not sure I had properly taken notice of Origins at the point of posting, and if I had and i somehow get a time machine i will smack myself when i first read this.
as for the Chapter, this one stands pretty well on its own, it has few links to the main story, apart from general evilness of the master releasing bad guys, but it is enough to remind me of what is happening elsewhere.
Octavia was fun to watch, and the important tech of biological children via magic is introduced. Orthos was the perfect level of inept and lived up to my reaction of his first appearance.

Oh, I'm not George R.R. Martin. I mean, the only characters I have killed are ones nobody really likes. Not to mention the scale. I would have to destroy an entire universe to catch up.
And I am glad you are catching the little in/inter-universe references I slip in. Ever since my plot notes vastly outpaced production, I've had too much fun slipping ties between TWP/SCS and RoH and including hints of their futures. They are the Spanish Inquisition of references for first reads.
Orthros/Ultros is one of the many reasons I love Final Fantasy VI. Uncle Ulty is just too fun. Not to mention his 8-Bit Theater inspired death here. Makes him akin to Jnn'efur.
