Smiling, carefree parasprites now roam the gilded corridors of Canterlot Castle, and not a single pony can be found. Celestia and Luna have temporarily abandoned and quarantined the premises, staying elsewhere while they argue over the best method to go about removing the adorable trash that has infested their home. Unfortunately, parasprites are not the only intrusive thing that have now taken up a presence in the castle during the sisters' brief absence.

Inexplicably teleported in from the sheer amount of valuable possessions being left unguarded, the Norsemen have arrived.

Fluttershy has always been scared of storms, but never have I seen her quite like this. I had to take her in a few months back due to a magical portal sticking her on Earth for good, and now she needs some help through her first storm after our drought season. Will she make it through without losing her sanity? Will she gain something, or someone, in the process?

This fic has actually existed for quite some time, but never published. It's gone from being a rant fic about life, to a comedy fic about ponies inhabiting Earth. I could never find what I wanted to do with this story about my life. And then, it clicked. I knew what I wanted, what I needed this fic to be. This is to be read the same way it is written. At the end of a long day, when you're emotionally and physically drained, and you just need to take a break from the world.

This is my break. Have a seat, and relax.

Sometime after they got back together, Prism and Whirlwind settled down, got married and had their first foal named Raine. Often she has fun pranking with her dad, hearing stories from her mom, or just sleeping. As for her parents, telling her about their relationship in the past is not walk in the park.

The joyous occasion is interrupted, however, by the appearance of a new threat; a set of mysterious mages armed with powerful Devices and daunting magical prowess. Who are these mysterious people that call themselves the Wolkenritter? Who do they serve?

Twilight and her friends, both old and new, are once more forced into conflict. This time, however, Equestria's future may very well hang in the balance.
