Ocellus is sent by King Thorax of the Changeling Kingdom to serve as the Friendship Ambassador to Ponyville. As she becomes introduced to Ponyville, she meets five diverse creatures and soon befriends them. However, they're put to the test as Nightmare Moon returns to deliver eternal darkness. It's up to Ocellus and her new friends to stop her.

This story is a sequel to Transitioning Love

It had to happen eventually. After finally confessing his long-standing crush on Rarity, Spike was inevitably rejected. With Twilight away, he had every intention of hiding himself away in the castle to brood, until a surprise visit from Ocellus offers him an alternative.

Smoulder is part of the Ponyville Miniature Railway Club, and could use an extra pair of claws to help out with locomotive maintenance. What this means for Spike's relationship woes, however, remains to be seen.

This story is a spin-off from one of my other stories, Transitioning Love. That story isn't required to understand this tale, but it will help to explain some later details.

Sometimes, it's not easy being a dragon. Sometimes, it's even harder being with one.

Contains self-deprecation, species differences, implied homophobia including homophobic slurs, relationship troubles, and a happy ending.

This is a story about friendship, light and darkness, and how sometimes even the most unreasonable sins have reasons.

Sandbar's life has been great. His friends from the school of friendship are awesome, his crush on Ocellus blossomed into a wonderful relationship and in general he's never been better.
But then a much anticipated visit from an old friend turns his whole world upside down and inside out.

I would like to say a huge thank you to my now traditional proofreader: PinkDragonJr whose help made this story look actually like a story written in English instead of my usual rather clanky pile of words.

P.S. This was originally a rewritten version of Jay David's Old Friend, No Longer which since then been merged with other stories to create the "The Young Six" anthology. Though since the original concept my story has changed a lot and now it has basically nothing to do with his original story but a few excerpt from the beginning of the first chapter can still be found which are directly copied from his work.
I debated myself for a long time whether I should change that part and the OC's name but I decided that as a token of my respect I will not. After all without his story this wouldn't exist. Of course I have his permission.

This story is a sequel to Patrilineality

Metamorphosis has at long last returned to the Hive, his birthplace. He is eager to find a way to fit in among his fellow changelings despite not being reformed. His sons are of course by his side every step of the way. Together, the three of them will reintroduce Metamorphosis to Equestria, all while dealing with the normal drama and adventure that comes with being a family.

Author's Note: This story is rated Teen simply as a precaution, in case I decide to sometimes use themes that are not suitable for the Everyone rating. Edit: added Profanity tag just in case I have Phar use some language. Also, it should be known that this story will have multiple acts (details below).

Act one: Metamorphosis is reintroduced to society, while Pharynx's old issues with being an outcast begin to rear their head. Follow what happens when Metamorphosis discovers that a voice whispers to his eldest son. A voice he's all too familiar with...

Act two: Now that Pharynx's outcast-driven issues have been put to rest, Metamorphosis experiences daily life at the Hive, starting with preparing for the winter holidays.

Act three: Spring is coming to the Changeling Hive, and Metamorphosis believes he has finally beginning to belong among the reformed changelings, taking on a role as a grand patriarch. But not everyone is content to sit back and watch the rain fall outside. Will Metamorphosis be able to handle the new developments?

Act Four: Spring has come and summer is looming on the horizon. Metamorphosis is forming even stronger bonds with his sons. But while everything between them is normally calm, Metamorphosis will discover nothing can be perfect for long, and not even twins get along all the time. And when secrets begin to rise to the surface, will Metamorphosis find that who he thought he was was never the truth?

Act Five: Summer has come, with new experiences for Metamorphosis and his family. With the brothers in harmony (for the time being), their Gemi-might be new knowledge to be gained and new bonds to create between Metamorphosis' sons and creatures he knows well. And Metamorphosis may just discover something new about himself as well.

Act 6: Fall comes and Ocellus returns to her school, but Metamorphosis will find peace does not come with one less creature to worry about. And soon, a new-old evil looms, threatening him and his family.
