Five years after the events of Shadow Play, things have changed for Spike. He now has a pair of wings, he's the size of a teenage dragon...and he had to watch Rarity be engaged to another pony. Naturally, this crushed him, but it's four years after the fact.

Still, he has several regrets over how he handled things with Rarity. Wanting to know how to get past this, he takes up Applejack's advice and asks Twilight how to talk to girls in a romantic way. She agrees to help him get past his issues, but Spike soon discovers feeling he didn't expect, buried feelings that were there for years. It catches him off guard big time.

The question will soon become: Should he go forward with those feelings?

For over a week, the east coast of Equestria has been haunted by something lurking in the waters. There have been reports by merchant ships, coastal cities and towns, even pirates, that there is a beast hiding under the waves. Those who have witness the dark beast, say it appears when Luna's moon is high, then disappears beneath the waves when Celestia's sun rises with complete silence.

When Twilight Sparkle and her friends are tasked by Princess Celestia to search for the monster, and hopefully, ask it to leave, they will soon find out that the beast hiding in the shadows is not what they expected, nor is it a beast at all.

While Twilight was teaching Starlight a new spell, a miscalcution happened and Starlight messed it up and caused a rift to open between dimension. As a result, the male mane 6 were pulled from their own dimension and brought to the mane 6 one.

As Twilight tries to figure out a way to send them back, her and the others try to help their male counterparts adjust to their new lives in their world.

Coming back to Ponyville after 'dying' was quite a challenge on its own. Things did not go as planned as Ryan made some interesting discoveries since returning that have curved his path. However, he does not intend to simply abandon his former mission. He came back to make amends and right the wrongs of his past and he intends to do exactly that. Now though, with the added responsibility of raising a daughter he didn't know he had, as well as working out the issues that still lie between himself and her mother, this trial may end up being a lot more interesting than he initially thought.

This story picks up shortly after the ending of Rust in the Breeze, with Ryan now ready to face his challenges head on and no longer hiding from the rest of the world, as well as having accepted himself for who he truly is.

With 24 individual changeling foals, some with distinct properties that might make them more mischievous in the coming years, the two can have their hands full from time to time. However their peace becomes threatened when Chrysalis's "side of the family" makes an appearance, things seem to only get more complicated when Chrysalis and the princesses try to take the peaceful diplomatic approach.

Caramel is a simple stallion. He has simple tastes and doesn't own anything extravagant. The most adventerous thing he ever did was ask out his boss Rainbow Dash, a.k.a. Iron Mare. Needless to say he's nervous about being up to snuff with the models and movie stars she's been with before. Can Caramel keep himself together or will he will he crash and burn before the date even starts?

I was just minding my business, but the curiosity that is my mind forced me to almost take part in an experiment that changed my life.

I didn't want to do this. Not at all. But they forced me to participate in their "top secret" experiment.

And now, I'm a freaking female pony standing on its hind legs! At least they said it'll wear off in 7 days. What could possibly go wrong?

Dusk finds Sweetie Belle skimming stones by the creek while he's out on some public service work. The familiar mare looks troubled by something, so he decides to ask her what the matter is.

Big Macintosh is the sexiest stallion in town...and he hates it. Endless mares harass him and his family; he becomes convinced he'll never find the one. Or maybe he will in the last mare he expected. Meanwhile, Twilight tries to open up to a relationship while struggling with the stress of being Celestia's student and the consequences of her decisions.

Devin Hall, a former human of sound mind is randomly catapulted into the magical world of Equis in an unfamiliar body. Hopefully with some help, he will be able to find a way home or at least adjust to this new world filled with magic and sorcery. However, during his stay in Equestria he is asked to help out the nation with one of it's most important matters to date. Unfortunately, this is much easier said than done.

This is a HIE story that I just wanted to write the first chapter to. If it gains some momentum, I will continue to add chapters. Rated T for cursing and implied sexual situations. Rating may change depending on feedback.
