This tale is a spiritual sequel to Three Second Chances, by popular request. It follows the spirit of that tale, but is not a direct follow-up and so no prior knowledge is required.

Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon's favourite holiday is Halloween. It's the one time of the year where they get to cut loose from the traditional fancy stuff they were raised on and have some fun after dark. And such is the case with any Halloween, there's nothing that makes them happier than a good old-fashioned trick-or-treat night.

With a few little spooks along the way...

It started off simply enough, Applejack's embarrassing childhood nickname. Everyone had one, Sunset's was Little Firestarter. The group ignored it, even when students take it a step forward and start teasing the farmer about it.

However the next day, after a sleepover at Rarity's involved all of them dressing up in silly costumes the fashionista had made, things got worse. Those pictures were posted online, and the poster, Anon-A-Miss, also left derogatory comments.

Those pictures came from Sunset's phone, but she doesn't remember posting them. What's going on?

I have fallen in love with the Anon-A-Miss story line, and all the different stories that depict darker, more realistic takes on what may have happened. It is heavily inspired by a lot of different Anon-A-Miss stories that I have read, and I decided to give my own take on the story line, and everything that could have happened should that event be so traumatic as to break Sunset’s spirit.

Twilight Sparkle is the best student at Crystal Prep Academy, and while she’s pretty happy with her situation, her unofficial big sister, Cadance, keeps telling her to try and make friends. It never seems to go well for her, until Cadance convinces her to tutor the new student at Crystal Prep, Sunset Shimmer.
