I know this is not the most liked MLP couple, it’s the most popular and most hated couple after all. Don't ask how that makes sense. Any way I've written Flashlight stories before and none of them looked very good. I have to thank Calm Wind, TorontoFCBrony, and DerpyForever, and many others for giving me the inspiration for this story. Calm Wind gets praise for helping me finally find how to start. TorontoFCBrony gets praise giving me the idea to base the story off of a song. DerpyForever gets praise for making the story in canon with the show. Chapter 1: Meet the Parents Rainbow Dash has a brilliant idea: since she hasn't seen her parents in awhile, why not bring her new boyfriend with her to visit them? Unfortunately for Soarin, this means meeting her father and mother (Firefly). Will the Wonderbolt survive the visit? Will I ever learn how to do comedy? There is a single yes and a no between these two important questions.

Chapter 2: Meet the Scootaloo Soarin unexpectedly finds himself introduced to Rainbow Dash's number one fan, Scootaloo, and once again finds himself learning a bit about Dash's world. Warning: Might make you squee.

A year ago, Scootaloo's parents were arrested, and Scootaloo was placed in Rainbow Dash's care. Now, she visits them for the first time, to say what's on her mind, even if it's hard.

After adopting Scootaloo Rainbow Dash is still learning about taking care of her. Rainbow Dash has been learning, but she still doesn't have the full confidence she needs yet. Now with a storm coming to Ponyville and Scootaloo acting strangely, Rainbow Dash needs to find out what is wrong with her before something bad happens.

Discord, for a master of chaos, was actually a very good planner. Despite the confidence that he would bring Equestria to its knees in mayhem, several millennia of experience had taught him to have a back-up, no matter what. And after watching from the sidelines as Princess Luna became Nightmare Moon, he knew he had found an ace in the hole. Despite his defeat, Discord's greatest trick was still to come.

You know what this means: Equestria's greatest Nightmare is back. And this time, she's not alone.

Diamond Tiara has been in, what could generously be called, a rivalry with Applebloom for sometime now. Now she's crossed the line once too often, forcing Filthy Rich to take drastic action. Can she become a better pony and make new friends?

Far from home, she now must go through the rigors of Junior Guard Cadet Summer Camp, sleeping in the dirt and dealing with all manner of ponies that have no idea of just how great she is. How could she possibly make friends with this lot? And what's this about Diamond Tiara being anything less than perfect?
