A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....

Sunset Shimmer, the former pupil of Princess Celestia, entered the mirror hoping to find a place where she could plot her revenge and prepare to enact it.
Instead she finds herself face down in a swamp, cold and alone, lost to the machinations of the dark, that is until she comes face to face with a being almost as ancient as her old mentor, and maybe just as wise.

I mean, really, I'm sure the majority of us got some of the same vibes and impression during that episode featuring Countess Coloratura and Applejack. From childhood to the present, they seemed to be rather close. Looking at Applejack interact with Rara is what has always gotten me thinking about where they stand.

To me, it's like they have something a little more than friendship, and I wrote this to inquire upon those curious thoughts.

A jacket full of memories and a vaguely familiar feeling within her heart... yet despite these two things pestering her, Delta's been living the past week as best as she can—usually with a quick lay and a stiff drink.

And she's almost forgotten about the stallion that left the jacket at her place and a fond pain in her backside, but after a rough morning and a craving for smokes, she finds something under her bed that brings back memories of him.
