Button Mash gets a holiday present. He inspects the holiday present. He proceeds to use the present. Move along, citizen, nothing to see here.

(I'm really bad at descriptions today. Maybe later.)

If you like (or don't) my story, please share your thoughts in the comments. I read each and every one of them. Feedback is vital.

Proofreaders: Rune Soldier Dan. Thanks for checking my horsewords!

Breezie entry
Technical info: the story arguably has a considerably softer rating than Fallout: Equestria itself and should be friendly for a wider audience.
As everything else FoE, it is not endorsed by Kkat and is not automatically considered canon for FoE in any way. Thanks for creating this universe, buddy.
Any resemblance between pony preachers in this fiction and real pony preachers is entirely intentional. No conscious ghouls were harmed in the making.

If you're looking for the source of the cover, search "God of War: B is for Boy: An Illustrated Storybook". From what I've heard and seen, it's a good read.

What can possibly bring together a great illusionist and an ill-famous weirdo of Ponyville? And not just any time but on the verge of Hearth's Warming Eve. As it turns out, nothing is impossible with some unhealthy curiosity, an overwhelming pressure of holiday deadlines and a bit of street writing magic.

It's like an art trade, only in fiction. Can't believe I've said it :facehoof:.

It always amuses me how some moments in a story are carefully planned while other just sort of happen. Creativity is funny like that. Apparently a deadline and a sense of responsibility (coupled with some therapy and an AD course) is a nice workaround for the writer's block.

The strange thing is, this is probably the closest thing to canon I ever wrote. Also, I never thought of writing about these two, and I would probably never do it without the big event. So thanks for the opportunity, I guess. Hope you like it.

For history's sake: 2019-12-17 — 2019-12-20.

Princess Luna is in the middle of a working visit to the farthest existing space colony of ponykind. An unexpected sandstorm forces a change of plans for the head of Equestrian delegation, so she decides to use her newfound "spare time" to inspect a local mining facility. Not everything, however, happens to be as bright as her host tries to show...

NB: While there is (almost) no questionable content (aside from some minor profanities), I still do not recommend this for children (hence "Teen"). Translation is now complete. At this point I have no volunteer editors, but the text should be more or less correct. Any feedback and reasonable critique is welcome.

Genres: Sci-Fi/Cyberpunk, Detective
Size: 50 pages (around 20k words)

Thanks:
* to Kkat and FoE - for helping me understand such things are possible. And for some valuable details I decided to... er, borrow from there.
This fic has NO direct relation to FoE and its wonderful wasteland universe. Just in case.
* to Alex_Malkavian - for valuable in-depth edits during Ukrainian translation that changed the original and, by consequence, this English version, effectively making him my part-time editor.
