When a mysterious group attacks a chemical lab, there was only one pony who Celestia and Luna knew could survive the ensuing challenge that lurked beneath earth and concrete.

Called into action against a threat that seeks to destroy both him and his new friends, Toxic Shield is pulled into the remnants of a conflict that all thought was burned away by the wrath of a Solar Empress. Many remember him as the pony with an odd voice, others, as the sole survivor of the Oakbark incident. Many call him the Iceberg. Cold, unfeeling, and without empathy, immune to both chemical agents and emotions it would seem. Very few care to explore the truth of such stories, at least until a gryphoness befriends the odd stallion.

And as a poison in many shapes and forms seeks to spread across Equestria, a reformed Windigo and Shadow Pony from the Limbo realm struggle to find their place in a world that once loathed everything they represented.

(This story is a direct sequel and picks up right after Timeless ends. If you haven't read the previous story, ye be warned for confusion and spoilers!)

The sun is eternal, distant, powerful, timeless, and out of reach of any mortal creature. Like the entity she controls Celestia has curated such a view of herself over a thousand years. Having run the nation for over a millennium the Solar Princess is, to many, a revered and nigh-unapproachable figure.

However when you wear a mask for too long, it is said, you can forget who you are underneath.

While attempting to maintain a semblance of government during a devastating plague-like outbreak Celestia herself falls ill and she is all too thankful when an expert on the disease arrives to help. What the Alicorn didn't expect to find however, was how much she needed a friend more than any curative potion. Yet something about this doctor seems oddly unnatural and familiar.

As the continued efforts from a dangerous foe strive to destroy everything the Solar Princess holds dear, friendships may prove to be more valuable than any blade.

The Wonderbolts realized they wronged Rainbow after falsely accusing her for sending Spitfire away. Knowing what they did was wrong, Soarin and the others try to fix their mistakes at the urging of Spitfire. Even if they didn't get ordered by their captain, they were going to apologize anyway. They quickly find out forgiveness isn't just given out.

Now the siblings in their displaced bodies must reunite, along with protecting the escaped slaves and survive this broken order world while fighting off against unknown powerful forces intent to kill them or use them for their own goals. Although, what the two siblings doesn't know is that they aren't alone to be transported here.

I was sent to Equestria only to be hunted down as if i was an animal. Well now that my friends that I met after being petrified and I are free it's time to leave Equestria and regroup. This time it will be the Darkness to purify the Light but in truth that's only a side effect for our main goal. Revenge. Unfortunately this is a very slow burn plan but that is fine. We've waited for over 5000 years to be free what's a few more? In time those who wronged us will know that wrath of not just a Dungeon Keeper, but a Oni!

Please note that this story will be much darker then all of my other stories with the possible exception of Tales of a Lycan-Scale due to me not 100% sure where that one is going to end up with the few plans I currently have for it. Ok so you all know about the displaced stories on the fimfiction website right? Well turns out there true who new right? Well i didn't because I thought that the people who went missing were just kidnapped not sent to another universe. But I'm getting off track, anyways I went to comic-con dressed as my oc which is a hybrid of several different monsters from games and movies that i liked. I met someone dressed as The Kreeper from the jeepers kreepers movies. I bought a obsidian tablet with ancient writing on it and he wanted me to put my own symbol/mark on it. So i did not knowing what it would do and I was sent to Equestria with the obsidian tablet and I was turned into a infent of my oc and was hatched in fluttershy's cottage and it turns out that the obsidian tablet tells the destiny of the monsters of this world of equestria and my destiny apparently is to fight the bad monsters...yay.

My day started out great. my work week just finished and I chose to use my first day off to finally go watch the MLP movie in the cinema and the movie was a great experience.

...

But my day went from great to WTF when I was passing a sushi resturant on the way out of the cinema and suddenly I'm Haku from Spirited Away and I'm in season 2 Equestria... but things are not all as they seem and now I've gotta figure out how to get home... if that's even possible.

Please not that, despite the romance tag, Haku will not have romantic relations with anyone living in Ponyville.

When the Crystal Empire returned, it brought King Sombra back with it. Immediately, he had started the war against Equestria... the war that proved to be a terrible disaster, brought tragedies and sleepless nights to the pony nation. Princess Celestia was leading the finest warriors herself, but even with her on the front line, it took every other pony in Equestria working day and night to barely keep up the fight against Sombra's army of the mindless slaves... the army that was growing stronger with every new pony captured and enslaved.

At that point, no effort could help Equestria win that war. To do that, it would take some sort of a... primordial force.
