Equestria, a nation that prides itself with one of the strongest militaries in the world, has enjoyed a peaceful existence for the last three-hundred years. When the benevolent princesses of such a land discover that a large port city has been overthrown by not one, but two former villains, the princesses take matters into their own hands to ensure a prosperous existence for the residents. However, as a political approach towards the situation fails to yield desired results, the royal sisters take it upon themselves to forcibly remove the two reluctant queens from their newly acquired throne. That is, until they discover a certain human who isn't too keen on a hostile take over. Soon enough, the Equestrians will learn why one should never threaten a human or the ones he calls family.

This story is rate T for implied sexual situations, strong language, and gore and blood.
Story takes place in an alternate universe where Nightmare Moon is alive and the changelings have not been reformed.

It started as a normal Equestrian morning, but doesn't it always? The princesses are frightened, and in Ponyville, a creature from a forgotten race walks into town. His kind hasn't been seen in over a thousand years, but even then he's still far from what he appears to be.

Arc 1: The First Day

Author's Note: Hey guys! This is my first story, so constructive criticism is more than welcome. I'll take this moment to say that I own nothing but my main character, the plot, and a few surprises which will appear later. All other characters and linked music are NOT mine. A word on music. At times I might offer two links to a song. The first is the OFFICIAL version, the second is the closest approximation to how I feel it is sung in the story. Just warning you, because I know some people hate covers. This story is rated teen for occasional language, implied sex, and gruesome imagery (mostly late in the story and in flashbacks). A boy is taken from Earth by accident due to Lunas carelessness and impatience for the beginning of a foreign highschool exchange program. The boy wakes up in Equestria completely confused. What will become of the young 15 year old Andrew.

Isaac, or "Ike" as he is commonly referred to as, is a run-of-the-mill young man with a past untold. He had a wonderful life growing up, until a sudden turn of events left him working day to day as a miserable cowboy of Northern New Mexico. Shutting himself from the rest of the world, but at the costly expense of prolonged loneliness. A true loner.

However, that all changed when Ike is sent to Equestria to rekindle the dying spark what remains of his hollow chest. Not only meeting new faces, but also the drawn faces of his forgotten creations.

Unbeknownst to the isolated frontiersman, a dark secret rests within this brand new world, waiting to bubble to the surface. What terrors will be found?

My life was never good. In fact, the only good thing in my life is my curse. But I'll explain that in the story. I was walking down an ally when I stumbled over a box. I look at the box, and decide that my curiosity got the best of me. So I opened the box, And my heart nearly stopped at what was inside.
