My little Chrysalis

My life was never good. In fact, the only good thing in my life is my curse. But I'll explain that in the story. I was walking down an ally when I stumbled over a box. I look at the box, and decide that my curiosity got the best of me. So I opened the box, And my heart nearly stopped at what was inside.

Disclaimer: This story is somewhat based off of Rob's My little dashie, but I added many different things, so no this is NOT copyright. I own the human in this story and that is it. MLP:FiM is own by Hasbro. My little Dashie is owned by ROBCakeran53.

Hi, my name is Jonathon, and I'm a brony. My life was great until my parents house got burned down and they were killed. I had a brother and a sister that I now had to deal with. And I barely make enough money to get food for myself, let alone two others! My job was horrible. Ever since the…ohh what did they call it…the fiscal cliff that Obama did nothing to stop. I was an engineer, but despite what you might think, my pay sucks ass, and my boss is a jerk-off.

But enough of that, lets get to the story.

I was driving my brother and sister to school. Yes, they are still in school. I dropped them off and made my way to work.

"You're late," my boss says as I walk in.

"Sorry sir," I respond, "I had to take my siblings to school, it won't happen again."

"You better hope not," he said, "Because if it does, you're fired."

"Understood, sir." I walked out of the office and got to work. My shift ended after a few hours and I went to pick up my brother and sister.

"Hey Kristen," I shouted to my sister, "Get your ass in the car or you're walking home!"

She said goodbye to her friends and got in the car.

"You're an ass-hole, you know that." She gave me her pissed of look.

"Hey," I said, "If you use that language again, I'll pop you across the mouth."

She just looked away.

I picked Justin up and took us home. I pulled into my garage; turned off the car; I walked into the house, and turned on the lights. This was my grandparents house. I had moved in when they passed because it was already paid off. But mostly because I was a total ass to them when they were alive. The last thing I said to my grandpa before he died was, "I wish you weren't my grandpa!" He died of a blood clot later that night. My grandma had passed away a while before. I wanted to kill myself for what I did. I was close too, but my brother stopped me and told me that he and Kristen needed me. I decided that I would live in their memories and make them happy by caring for my brother and sister.

"Hey Jonathon," Justin said, "What's for supper?"

I thought for a moment.

"You guys want a pizza?" They looked at me happily.

"YES," they shouted.

"I'll be back in a little bit," I said. I got in my car; drove off; picked up the pizza and headed home. When I got back, I walked in the door and the pizza in my hands vanished, then reappeared in my sisters hands.

"How the fuck do you move so fast when it comes to pizza," I asked.

She dead panned.

"I like pizza," she said.

"No shit Sherlock." I walked into to my bedroom and turned on my computer. I clicked on the latest My Little Pony episode and laid back. This was the 15th episode of the 8th season. I still remember my two favorite ponies, Chrysalis and Luna. They were my favorite because they were a lot like me. Chrysalis get really pissed off, and do something she would regret. I was the same way. I would get mad at my sister and hit her, but I would regret it later. Luna loved the night sky and so did I. She had a darker side to her as well. I also had a darker side of me. I finished watching the episode and turned off my computer. I walked out into the living room. My brother and sister were in there watching a movie.

"Hey," I said, "I'm going for a walk, I'll be back in a few hours, okay?"

"Okay," they said.

"Oh, and Kristen," I said before closing the door, "No friends, you here me?"

"Yes mom," she said.

I closed the door. I put my hood up and walked. I didn't pay attention to where I was going, just where ever my feet took me. Then I found myself in the oldest part of the town. The walls of the old buildings were cracked and had moss and other green stuff all over it. I saw an old ally and walked down it. There weren't a lot of people out anymore, in fact, I think there was only about 100 people left in this town that once had 50,000.

As I walked, I almost tripped over a box. Said box was pretty big. Now a days I saw trash everywhere. But something about this box caught my attention. There appeared to be something inside. I kneeled down and saw there was writing on the side of the box. It said, 'Keep if you want.' I wondered what could be in this box that scared someone so much they didn't even want to see it. I looked at the box again. I then proceeded to open the box. What I saw inside made me want to cry in pity. Inside the box, that was sitting here in this abandoned ally, was a filly Chrysalis. At first I told myself it was just a toy, but then it's eyes opened and looked at me. Those big adorable green eyes made me smile. I hadn't smiled at all in over 12 years.

"Hi," I said.

They filly just stared at me.

"What are you doing in my world," I asked to no one.

She looks at me with curiosity. Then she points at me, then at her horn, then back at me.

"You want me to come closer?" She nodded her head.

"Well, at least she understands me," I think to myself, "But why would she want me to come closer?"

I leaned down closer to her and soon her horn touches my head. Then a voice talks to me.

"Where am I," she asked.

"Well," I said, "You are on planet earth."

"So," she said in my mind, "I'm not in Equestria anymore?"

"I don't know what you're talking about," I lied, "But yes."

They I saw her eyes begin to water.

"No, no it's okay," I said out loud, "Everything is going to be fine."

She looked at me with doubt in her eyes. She kept crying.

"Here," I said. I took my sweatshirt off and reached down to pick her up. As I figured, she was freighted. She squirmed for a little bit before my body heat made it through the thin sweatshirt. She settled down. Then I felt her move around until she was facing me. She looked up at me with those big green eyes. Then too top it off, she gave off a little sneeze. I chuckled. She looked at me before closing her eyes and falling asleep. I walked back home and went inside. "Thank God," I thought as I walked in. My brother and sister had gone to bed and were now asleep, so I walked in and set Chrysalis down on the couch. She got up and looked around.

"How are you here?" I didn't really mean for that to come out, but I talk to my self a lot. She looks at me, but says nothing.

"Why can't you talk," I asked her.

She points at her head and I walk over again.

"I don't know why I can't talk," she said.

"Well, we better just wait and find out what happened," I replied.

I backed away, and then I got an idea.

"Wait here," I said, "I've got an idea."

I picked up my piece of shit phone and called my friends, Connor and Alex. Alex got me hooked on the show and then I got Connor to watch it. We've been bronies ever since. I knew I was going to need help with Chrysalis and they were the only ones who could help.
After a few seconds, Connor picked up the phone.
"The fuck do you want man," he asked, annoyed, "It's almost 10:00 dude."
"Listen, Connor," I said, "Get your ass over here, now. I'll explain everything when you get here."
"Just tell me now man," he said.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you," I said as I watched Chrysalis explore my living room.
"Fine, I'll be over in a little bit." He hung up the phone and I called Alex.
He picked up the phone right away.
"Hey man," he said, "Was up?"
"I need you to come over here now," I told him.
"Hehehe, come."
"You preverted son of a bitch, get the fuck over here," I said.
"Alright, alright, I'm coming. Hehehe coming."
I hung up the phone and walked over to Chrysalis, who was now looking at my T.V.
"I need you to hide," I told her.
She gave me a questioning look.
"Please?"
Then she walked over to the couch and got under my jacket. I paced around until I heard two cars pull into my drive way. Then Alex and Connor walked in.
"What is it man," Connor asked.
"Now listen guys," I said, "You have to believe me when I tell you, I found a filly Chrysalis."
They stared at me for a moment before laughing their asses off.
"No! I'm serious! Look!" I lifted my jacket and reveled Chrysalis.
"Wow, you got a plushie," Connor said.
Then he got the surprise of his life. Chrysalis saw the trouble I was having and wasn't to happy. So while they were laughing, Chrysalis got off the couch and walked up to Connor, and proceeded to stomp on his toe with her hoof.
"Mother FUCKER," he shouted as he fell to the floor, grabbing his toe. I picked Chrysalis up and looked at them.
"You believe me now," I asked again.
They nodded.
"Good, cause I need your help."
"Why would you need our help," Alex asked.
"Well for starters, you know more than I do, and secondly, you two owe me."
They looked at each other.
"Alright," they said.
"Good. Now, I need you to take my brother and sister for a while," I said.
"WHAT," they almost shouted, "ARE YOU FUCKED UP IN THE HEAD?!?!"
"Umm…yes," I answered.
Connor face-palmed.
"I should've know that was the answer."
"I need you to take them because I don't need them choking Chrysalis because of how adorable she is, or having Chrysalis hurting them."
They nodded.
"That makes sense," Alex said.
"So will you take them?"
"I'll take Justin," Connor said quickly.
"You son of a bitch," Alex said, "Now I'm stuck with his sister."
"That's the point," Connor said.
See, even my friends know that my sister is a brat.
"Hey," I said, "It could be worse."
"How," Alex asked.
"It could have been my step-sister."
Their faces paled.
"She's still in jail for burning your house down and killing your parents, right," they asked.
"Yes."
They let out a sigh of relief. I got Kristen and Justin up and they went with my friends. Now it was just me and Chrysalis.
"What am I going to do with you?"
She looked at me with those innocent eyes. I just sighed and laid down on the couch. As I was about to fall asleep, I felt something rest on my chest. I looked down to see the most adorable sight ever. Chrysalis was sleeping peacefully on my chest. I reached down and scratched her ears. She sighed contently. I smiled and after a few minutes, I fell asleep.
(3 years later)
It's been three years since I found Chrysalis. I kind of think of her as a daughter now. She is now about 2 1/2 feet tall and can talk. We've spent lots of time talking about how she could have gotten here, why she was here, things like that. After a while, she asked for her own room. Ever since I found her, I've just been sleeping on the couch with her. Now that my friends were taking care of my siblings, I did have a spare bedroom. It wasn't anything fancy, all it was was a bed, a dresser, and a closet. But she seemed fine with it. One night as I was putting her to bed, she said three words I never expected to here from her.
"Night dad, I love you."
I froze. She called me daddy. Not only that, but she said, "I love you." I didn't know what to do, but then I remembered what my grandparents would do.
I bent down and hugged her close and said,
"Goodnight my little Crissy, I love you too."
I walked out of the room; turned off the light and walked into my bedroom. I didn't close the door all the way, in case she needed me. I just lay there, thinking.
She called me daddy. She did that often but I can see why seeing that I raised her since she was a filly, but she even said, "I love you." It took her saying those words for me to realize, I'm her daddy, and she is my daughter. She is…my little Crissy.
(5 years later)
It's been 8 years since Crissy came into my life. She's grown a lot now, almost 4 1/2 feet tall. She's been talking a lot more now. We've been growing a lot closer. One day I saw her staring outside longingly. I knew I couldn't keep her inside her entire life. Heh, I keep telling myself she's going to be here forever, but that isn't true.
I did some research on how to teach birds to fly. Like in the fanfic, My Little Dashie, I tried to avoid the Internet. The only reason that I have any idea what to do was because I had read that book on the site. It seems Rob had the right idea when taking care of a cartoon pony. I haven't told her about the show, but I will have to eventually. She will find out in her own soon enough, but I'll wait to see what happens.
Today, it was her 8 birthday. As it turns out, she is quite the baker. The cake we made was delicious. That night as I was falling asleep, I saw something open my door. I sat up and saw Crissy standing there, eyes blood-shot like she had been crying.
"Crissy," I said, walking over to her, "What's wrong?"
"I-I had a n-nightmare," she said.
I picked her up and hugged her. Despite being 4 1/2 feet tall, she was pretty light. I hugged her for a little bit before looking at her.
"Would you like to sleep with me," I asked.
"Yes."
I carried her over to the bed and laid her down. I got under the covers and closed my eyes. As I was about to fall asleep, I felt something rest against me. I looked over and saw that Crissy had curled up next to me and had her head on her forelegs. I smiled and reached over to her and ran my fingers through her silky mane. She sighed happily and nuzzled closer to me. I smiled and after a few minutes, I fell asleep.
The next day was the best day ever. Crissy and I were moving. That's right, moving. I had gotten a huge bonus at work, and then got a lucky lottery ticket. We packed up and now, I had to pick up my siblings. It was time to revile Crissy to them. I made my way to Connor's house first. Crissy and I walked up to the door and I knocked. Conner answered.
"Hey Jonathon, hey Crissy," he said.
"Hey," I said, "Is Justin here?"
"Yeah, hang on a sec." He let us in and I told Crissy to hide. After a minute, Justin and Connor walked in.
"Hey Jonathon," Justin said.
"Hey Justin," I said, "Guess what?"
"Hmm," he asked.
"We're moving to the country!"
His eyes lit up and he ran up to me.
"When are we going," he asked.
"In a minute," I said, "But there's someone you need to meet, because she will be staying with us for a while."
I nodded my head at where Crissy was hiding and she walked out. Justin looked at her and froze.
"Hi there," Crissy said.
"D-did th-that horse j-just t-talk," he asked.
"Yes Justin," I said, "This is Crissy, and she is a pony."
Justin slowly walked up to Crissy and held out his hand. Crissy leaned forward and sniffed his hand. Then she proceeded to nuzzle his hand. He slowly pet her down the neck and through her mane. She sighed happily as he continued to pet her. He smiled.
"She's adorable," he said.
"Yes she is," I said.
I said goodbye to Connor and went to pick up Kristen. I knocked on the door and Alex answered.
"Hey," he said.
"Hey, is Kristen here," I asked.
"Yeah. Come on in, I'll go get her."
We walked in and Crissy hid while Kristen came down the stairs.
I told her that we were moving and that there was someone she had to see. I nodded my head and Crissy walked out in front of Kristen. Kristen wasn't scared of her like I thought she would be, she was happy.
"Jonathon," Kristen asked, "Is she part of the family now?"
"Yes Kristen," I said, "I kind of consider her as my daughter, so yes, she is part of the family."
She walked up to Crissy and pet her mane. It looks like this won't be as hard as I thought.
(2 years later)
Kristen and Justin had moved out of the new house, got their own, and started a family. They still came to visit Crissy, but it was mostly just me and her. I had gotten a new job that paid significantly more than my last one, and since she seemed to enjoy watching videos on the internet, I had gotten a laptop for Crissy. I left for work one morning while she was watching what looked like Happy Wheels with nova. When my shift ended, I went to the store for some groceries. I made my way home and walked inside. I put the groceries on the counter in the kitchen and walked into the living room when I heard it.
This day has been just perfect.
The kind of day I dreamed since I was small.
Everypony I'll soon control.
Every stallion, mare, and foal.
Who says a girl can't really have it all?
I froze. I knew what she was watching, and which episode. I haven't seen that episode in so long, but I still remember that fucking episode. That episode was when Chrysalis destroyed the Canterlot wedding. I knew I had forgotten to do something, and that was to block certain things on the internet. My sun glasses hit the floor. If she didn't know I was home before, she knew now.
"You knew," she said, no emotion in her voice.
"I-"
She turned and looked at me.
"YOU KNEW ABOUT THIS AND NEVER TOLD ME?!"
I felt my heart break in two. It was the first time she had even raised her voice at all at me, but I deserved every second of it. I knew this would happen. Why didn't I tell her sooner!? It would have been better if she hadn't found out on her own. I sat down and told her everything. She had lots of questions, most about her and the show. I told her what I knew and what I believed, but she continued to yell. Finally, she flew up to her room and slammed the door. I checked on her an hour later, but she wasn’t there. I sat down on the couch. I hope that she will come back, but if she doesn't, then she goes back to her own universe. Then I did something I hadn't done before, I walked. I walked through the forest surrounding our house. I walked slowly, hopping to see Crissy somewhere, but I didn't see anything.
(1 1/2 months later)
It's been almost two months now since Crissy flew off, and I wasn't doing too well. I had been walking every day since she left, but I never found her.
Today, I was walking out into the forest to end it all. I had my grandpa's favorite pistol in my pocket, and was walking through the forest. I made it to a clearing in the forest and sat down under a tree. I looked around to make sure no one had followed me. Then I let my tears fall. I cried for a while.
"I'm so sorry," I said to no one. I raised the pistol to my head.
"I'm so sorry Crissy." I squeezed the trigger.
"NOOO," someone shouted. I froze. I knew that voice. I opened my eyes and looked to my left, and there she was. Standing there, covered in leaves and twigs, was Crissy. I put the pistol down and stared at her. She walked over and sat down next to me. For a while we just sat there. Then she broke the silence.
"I never meant to make you want to kill yourself," she said, "I never wanted it to go that far. It's all my fault." She put her head down.
"It's not your fault," I said, "It's mine. I should have told you about that years ago, but I didn't. Instead, I let you find out on your own. That was the biggest mistake of my life."
She sits there for a moment before looking at me. I didn't want to hug her yet, for if she broke away, I wouldn't be able to live with myself.
"D-daddy," she said, "D-do you h-hate me?"
Now was the time. I picked her up and hugged her close.
"Of course I don't hate you, and I never will, no matter what. I will all ways love you with all of my heart."
We sat there for a while, apologizing. Me for the truth, and her for raising her voice.
"Hey dad," she said.
"Yes Crissy?"
"Can we go home now. I need a shower, bad."
I chuckled and nodded my head. We walked home and completely forgot this ever happened. Our lives continued on without anything bad happening. That is, until the bitch showed up.

(5 years later)
It's been 15 years since Crissy came into my life. But I had a bad feeling our time was coming to an end. Today I was planning on taking her on a cruise. Yes, I was going to take her on a cruise. We were packing up when there was a knock on the door. I didn't want Crissy to be seen, so I told her to go to her room while I answered the door. I asked who it is. The most beautiful yet strangely commanding voice asked if they could come in. It was so commanding, it was like I was in a trance. I walked up to the door and opened it. The person…or rather pony standing there brought back two feelings. One was old brony excitement. Two was a horribly sad feeling that I knew why she was here. Standing there, in my doorway, was Princess Celestia.
"May I come in," she asked.
All I could do was stand aside. I couldn't form any words as she entered. But what followed her nearly made my heart explode. It was Princess Luna.
"Please, make yourselves comfortable," I said. I lead them into the living room. They laid down on the floor while I just stood there, jaw on the floor.
"Now," Celestia said, "I believe you know who we are?"
"That you're fictional cartoon characters from a cartoon, then yes," I said.
"Yes, and we believe you also know why we are here," Luna asked.
"Actually," I said, "I have no idea what cartoon characters are doing in my house." But I knew deep down, I was lying to myself. I just didn't want to believe this was going to happen.
"But you do," Celestia said.
I looked down in defeat.
"Yeah, I know why you're here. You're here to take her back."
Celestia nodded.
Just then, I heard something that made my heart stop.
"Daddy," Chrysalis called from her room, "Is everything okay?"
I just stood there, staring at Celestia and Luna. Luna seemed surprised, but Celestia had the best fucking poker face I've ever seen.
"I'm sorry," Luna said, "But did I just hear Chrysalis call you dad?"
"Yes," I said, "Right now she is in her room."
"How are you so acquainted with her," Celestia asked.
That pissed me off, her saying I was just acquainted with her.
"You have no right to say that," I said, anger seething in my words, "I'm not even going to consider forgiving you for saying that. Not to mention what the fuck you did?!"
They seemed put off by my sudden outburst.
"I'll go get her," I said as I walked up the stairs.
I stopped and looked back at Celestia.
"Oh, and you better start thinking of how the FUCK you are going to apologize for saying that."
I continued up the stairs and walked into Crissy's room. I explained to her who was down there. She seemed curious. I lead her back down stairs and into the living room. There she saw Celestia and Luna. She saw Luna first and gave her a nod, but then she saw Celestia. I saw the anger in her eyes. She looked like she was going to kill her. Then her horn started to glow. I saw this and dove in front of Celestia and the spell hit me instead. I fell to the ground, my chest smoldering. I don't know why I did that. I heard Crissy shout and run to my side. I looked at her and smiled. Then I looked at Celestia. My eyes filled with anger. She knew about my race, so she must know of our insults. So I raised my hand, and flipped her the bird. Then my eyes closed, and I took one final breath, and lay still.
(POV change to Celestia)
I watched as Chrysalis's horn glowed, then fire a spell at me. I couldn't block or dodge it in time, so I just sat there. Then I saw I blur and something hit the floor.
"DADDY," Chrysalis shouted and she ran to the man on the floor. The man that had just saved my life, FOR NO REASON!!! I saw him look at me. Then he did what these humans called flipping off. It was a horrible insult that didn't need any words. Then his eyes closed and his chest lay still.
"DADDY!!!" Chrysalis kept nudging the man. I was heart-broken. This man had just saved my life, for NO REASON!!! And I just let him die. I couldn't live with myself knowing this man’s blood was on my hooves. I walked over to the man and put my horn on his side. My horn glowed and so did his body. Soon, I heard a gasp of breath and the man sat up. He looked around and realized where he was. He looked at me, and the look of anger returned.
(POV change to Jonathon)
I sat up and looked around. I realized I was in my living room. Then I looked again and saw Celestia standing next to me. The realization of why she was here returned. I was filled with anger.
"DADDY!!!" Crissy hugged me and I hugged her back.
"I'm fine honey."
I stood up and walked over to my chair and sat down. Then Crissy walked over and hopped on my lap. She was almost 5 feet tall now, but she was still pretty light. I ran my fingers though her mane and stared at Celestia and Luna.
"Now," I said, "Would your royal bitchiness like to continue?"
She obviously didn't like the way I was treating her, but I didn't care. They were taking my Crissy away, so I was going to piss them off before so.
"Yes well, we are here to take her back," Celestia said.
"I have to warn you," I said, "I will fight to defend what she wants."
"What do you mean," she asked.
"I mean, Crissy will make her choice. If you have good reason to take her, say your world will be destroyed, then I will let you take her. But if you are her to take her because she doesn't belong here, yet she would want to stay here, then I will fight you to defend her." I stared her down.
"Then you leave us no choice," Celestia said. Then her horn started to glow. I saw this and pushed Crissy away and pulled a sword out of nowhere. This was my darker side. I was never entirely human. See, I was born with a curse, but I’ve made it into a kind of blessing. When I reached up into the air, the doctors were scared as a baby bottle appeared out of nowhere. I had the ability to conjure up whatever I wanted. I swung the sword and it cut the spell in half. I saw the shocked look on her face.
"How…what…WHAT JUST HAPPENED!?!?"
"See," I said, "I'm not entirely human. I have a special ability to conjure up whatever I want. You can't defeat me."
She charged up another spell and fired. This time I dodged it. It sailed past me, but I didn't realize that there was someone behind me. I heard a scream and turned to see my sister fall to the floor. She and my brother must have come over to see Crissy. My eyes widen with anger. I looked back at Celestia and she froze with fear. My gaze wasn't normal. My eyes were pure black, like a demons eyes.
"YOU BITCH, I'LL KILL YOU FOR HARMING WHAT FAMILY I HAVE LEFT!!!"
I charged her and sliced through the air. My sword hit her legs. She screamed and fell to the ground. Then Luna tried to attack, but I pick Celestia up and put held my sword to her throat.
"Move," I said, "And she dies."
I looked at Crissy.
"Check on Kristen," I said.
She nodded and walked over to the barely breathing body on the ground. I looked back at Celestia.
"If you EVER, show your face here again, I will not hesitate to rip it off and plant it on the wall above my fireplace."
She looked terrified. I looked at Luna.
"You, stay here, I need to talk to you."
I threw Celestia across the room and she hit the wall; leaving cracks in it.
"Leave," I said.
She looked at her sister with worry, and then in a flash of light, she was gone. I looked at Luna and sighed.
"I'm sorry I did that to your sister. I should've been easier on her. I'm sorry."
She walked up to me and put a hoof on my shoulder.
"It's alright," she said, "You were just defending your family. I would've done the same thing."
I smiled at her.
"Well," I said, "I need to talk to you about Chrysalis."
She nodded her head.
"Why are you taking her?"
"Because, she doesn't belong in this universe. She has a home," she said.
"Where I'm sure you're hunting her down and trying to imprison her," I said.
She sighed.
"Yes, we were looking for her."
"I'm sorry, but I can't let you take her without me."
Her eyes widen.
"But, what do you mean?"
I looked at my sister.
"I'm going to give up my life here on earth to protect Crissy."
I looked back at Luna.
"But," she said, "What about your friends and family?"
"My family are all dead except my siblings. That is why I almost killed Celestia. They are my only family left."
I walked over to my sister who was just waking up.
"Ow, what the hell happened," she asked.
"Kristen, come here please," I said, "I need to show you something."
She stood up and walked over to me. I put my hand on her forehead and focused.
"Just as I thought," I said as I removed my hand.
"What?"
"She has the same ability as I do, but hers is locked up. Let me see if I can unlock it."
I put my hand on her head again. I found what I was looking for and unlocked it.
"There," I said, "Now you can summon anything you want anywhere."
Her eyes widen.
"What do you mean," she asked.
I focused on pulling a sword from in front of me and showed it to her.
"If you focus on something," I explained, "You can make it."
She focused and reached her hand out. When she pulled, she held a sword.
"Woah," she said.
"Pretty cool huh?"
I walked over to Justin who was helping Kristen and did the same with him.
"Alright," I said. I walked over to Luna with a changeling queen in my arms.
"Kristen, Justin," I said, "You probably won't see me again, so take care. And tell my friends I'm in heaven. They'll know what I mean."
They nodded their heads and I walked over to Luna.
“I’m ready,” I said.
She nodded and cast the spell.

It’s been three years since Luna brought me too Equestria. Celestia didn’t seem to know I was there. Ever since we got here, Crissy and I have been staying in the Everfree forest. One night, we were lying in the clearing next to our little house.
“Hey dad,” Crissy said.
“Yes sweetie,” I asked.
“Why did you give everything up for me?”
I looked over at her, and I hugged her close.
“I gave up everything because I love you,” I said.
“I love you too,” she said.
I got up and walked to the edge of the clearing.
“You ready to go home,” I asked.
“Yeah,” she said.
We walked home and got into bed. I closed my door. I laid in bed but I never fell asleep. I waited for a few hours and went to check on Crissy. She was asleep. Now was the time. I walked out of the house and towards Cantorlot. I had a certain alicorn princess that I needed to have a talk with. I walked to the castle gates.
“HALT,” the guards said.
“I need to see the princess,” I said.
“I’m sorry, but you can’t pass.”
I sighed and summoned a baseball bat. I hit the guards, and they fell to the ground, unconscious. I walked into the castle and up the stairs. I was surprised at how easy it was to sneak passed the guards. I made my way through the castle and soon found the room I was looking for. On the doors to the room was a sun. I quietly opened the doors and snuck inside. I closed the door without so much as a squeak. I walked up to the bed that was in the room. The blankets were slowly rising and falling, like breathing. I pulled the covers away and saw what lay beneath. It was Princess Celestia. I stood there for a moment, before putting my hand over her mouth and waking her. As soon as she saw me, her eyes widen with fear.
“Look,” I said, “I just want to talk.”
Her eyes were still wide with fear but she nodded her head. I removed my hand and sat down.
“H-How are y-you here,” she asked.
“I told your dear sister Luna to bring me here,” I said.
Her eyes flashed with anger.
“If you hurt my sister,” she began, but I cut her off.
“I didn’t hurt or touch your sister.”
She relaxed but I could tell she was still scared.
“What did you want to talk about,” she asked.
“Chrysalis.”
Her eyes widen.
“What about her?”
“I’m here to tell you, that if Crissy gets hurt by you, Luna, or any pony else, they will not live to see another day.”
I saw her eyes grow even bigger.
“Do you understand,” I asked.
"Yes, I understand."
I nodded.
"Oh and one more thing." I walked up to her until I was right in her face.
"I was never here, got it?"
She nodded.
I walked out onto the balcony and jump down to the ground. I made my way back to the house and walked inside. I got into bed and fell asleep, knowing that Crissy was safe. At least, for now.
I woke up the next morning to find that Crissy wasn't there. I looked around the forest but couldn't find her anywhere. I ran as fast as I could to the castle. I ran past the guards and inside. I made my way through the halls and found Luna's room. I burst through the door and found Luna reading a book.
"Jonathon," she said, "What are you doing here?"
"It's Crissy, she GONE!!!"
She got up immediately ran out the door. I told her to look around the town while I looked in the castle. I made my way to the throne room. I ran through the doors and saw Celestia on the throne talking to…THE MANE 6! I would meet them later. But right now, I had a Princess to hurt. The princess saw me and her eyes widen with fear. I guess she saw the anger in my eyes. The mane 6 looked to see what she was looking at and saw me. I ran past them and tackled the princess. We flew through the window and fell to the ground. I heard the 6 shout something, but I didn't pay attention. As we were falling, I hit Celestia in the face and flipped over her. I grabbed her neck and held her below me. She hit the ground, hard. I grabbed her neck and put my sword to her throat. I saw the 6 and Shining Armor running towards us. Shining charged up a spell, but before he could fire it, I put my sword closer to Celestia's neck and said,
"Attack, and she dies."
Shining dropped the spell and I looked back at Celestia.
"Where is she," I asked, really pissed off.
She was to scared to answer.
"ANSWER ME!!!"
"She's in the dungeon," she stuttered.
"I told you if she was hurt, someone wasn't going to see day. Now, if she is hurt in anyway, nopony will see the sun again. Because the one who raises it will be dead."
I threw her to the ground and kicked her towards the castle.
"Now take me to her."
Celestia slowly got up and walked into the castle. I reached in front of me and pulled a pistol. I aimed it at her and told her to move. She lead me through the castle until we arrived at the dungeon. She walked in and lead me to a cell. I walked up to her and opened the door. Inside, Crissy lay on the floor, barely alive. Celestia seemed surprised.
"How did this happened," she asked, "She was just fine."
I, on the other hand, was pissed. I looked at Celestia and grabbed her neck.
"I told you what would happen, yet you did it anyway. Now, you will pay the price."
I threw her across the hall and she crashed into the wall. I walked over to her and sliced her across the side. She screamed in pain. I was about to kill her when I heard,
"WAIT!!!"
I looked back and saw Crissy trying to stand. I ran over to her and helped her up.
"Are you okay," I asked.
"Yeah," she said, "But it wasn't Celestia who did this, it was a guard."
"What did he look like," I asked, furious.
"He had a blue coat and white mane."
I was ready to kill this pony, but first, I had to help Celestia. I walked over to her and put my hand on her wound. After a minute, my hand glowed and the wound mended. I fell to the floor. Celestia stood up and I walked over to her. She looked scared.
"Look," I said, "I'm sorry for attacking you. My guardian instincts took over when I saw Crissy was hurt. I shouldn't have attacked you without knowing if it was you who hurt her."
She nodded.
"But Crissy told me who did hurt her."
I looked at Crissy and nodded my head. I saw her focus. Then she changed into the pony that attacked her.
"This is what he looked like," she said.
Celestia eyes widen.
"Th-that is my personal body guard," she said.
She walked out of the dungeon and I followed. She walked a while before I spotted the guard responsible. I pointed at him and Celestia saw him. She walked over to him.
"White Shadow," she said, "Meet me in the throne room in 10 minutes."
"Yes your highness."
We followed her to the throne room and waited. 7 minutes later, White Shadow walked in. I glared at him, and he froze in fear.
"Come forward," Celestia said.
He slowly walked forward.
"Shadow," she said, glaring at him, "Did I not tell you that Chrysalis was not to be harmed?"
"B-but your maje-"
"I don't want to hear it," she said, "You violated the law, AND disobeyed my order. Your punishment, you will be stripped of your rank and thrown in the dungeon until I see fit you can leave. Is that understood?"
He was about to argue, but thought better of it.
"Yes your majesty."
He went to leave but I stopped him. I bent down to meet him eyes level.
"You're lucky your princess is so nice. If I were in charge, I'd have you beaten until you couldn't stand, then I'd hang you up as a trophy. I'll see you later."
I walked away and stood beside Crissy. Shadow walked through the door led by 5 royal guards. Celestia looked at me with a regretful face.
"Listen, Jonathon," she said, "I'm sorry about what happened. I never wanted her to get hurt. And I shouldn't have taken her and put her in the dungeon. If I hadn't done that, none of this would have happened."
I wasn't ready to forgive her for taking Crissy, and I wasn't about to except her apology.
"What you did was unforgivable," I said, "I asked you not to take or harm Chrysalis, yet you did anyway. And look what happened. One of your guards went and nearly killed her, even if you told them not to. I'm sorry, but I can't forgive you."
She looked down in sorrow, and nodded her head.
"But," I said, walking up to her and putting a hand on her shoulder, "I am willing to forget."
I looked up at me, happy.
"Well," she said, "That's good to hear. I don't want you as an enemy. I'm glad that you're at least willing to forget this ever happened."
I nodded my head in agreement. I walked back over to Crissy.
"You ready to go home," I asked.
She nodded her head.
"Good." We walked out of the castle and into the Everfree. We made it home and went inside. By the time we got there, the moon was already rising. We went upstairs and got into bed. About an hour later, I was reading a book. I set the book down and turned the lamp off. As I was about to lay down, I saw my door open. I looked to see Crissy standing there.
"Is everything okay Crissy," I asked, concerned.
"Well," she said, "I was just wondering if I…could…stay with you tonight?"
I smiled at her.
"Of course you can."
She smiled and hopped into the bed. We laid down and fell asleep.

Death and Opposing the Elements

(3 weeks later)
I woke up and look around. The sun is just starting to rise. I sit up and walk to the bathroom. I took a quick shower. Today was a special day. It was Crissy's birthday. I still didn't know when her real birthday was, so I continued to use the day I found her. I got dressed and went downstairs. She was still sleeping, so I made her favorite breakfast. Pancakes with jelly. A simple breakfast, but really good to. As I was making the last pancake, I heard hoof steps coming down the stairs. She must've smelled the food, because in about a second, I saw her run to the table with a fork and knife ready.
"I take it your ready for your pancake," I asked.
"Damn right I am."
I chuckled. She picked up a few words while on earth. It's not like I didn't use them when I was fifteen. I brought her a stack of pancakes.
"By the way," I said.
"Fhut," she said with a mouthful of food.
"I have to run into town today, so I'll be gone for a while."
She looked at me.
"Can I fly around today?" I saw those puppy-eyes.
"Crissy," I said, "You know I have no control if you want to go flying. You can do that whenever you want."
She smiled.
"Thanks dad."
I nodded my head. I grabbed some bits that Celestia gave me and walked out of the house. I walked into town and walked to a place I knew I was going to regret going to. Sugarcube Corner. I knew I couldn't avoid Pinkie forever, so I might as well get it over with. I walked up to the building and went inside. I walked up to the counter and rang the bell.
"One minute," I heard Pinkie say.
After a minute, I saw her walk out of the kitchen. I was scared. Pinkie was the one pony I was scared of. If anything about her is true, then I wanted to avoid her if at all possible. But I was here for Crissy, so I'll live through it.
"Hello," I said.
Her eyes widen when she heard my voice. That told me she remembered me attacking the princess.
"You," she hissed. Her mane went flat, her pupils shrunk. She walked up to me with a knife.
"You attacked the princess," she said, "Now you will pay."
She jumped at me and swung the knife. I ducked and ran out the door. Now I was being chased through town by a pink mare.
"OH SHIT," I yelled as Pinkie jumped at me again. I turned quickly and ran into the library. I dashed inside and hid upstairs. Too late did I realized I was in Twilight's bedroom.
"Shit shit SHIT," I thought as I realized where I was. I heard Twilight walk in. I knew she wouldn't be happy to see me. As soon as she opened the door, I ran out. Twilight saw me and her eyes widen. I ran out of the library and onto the street. Now I was being chased by a pissed Pinkie and Twilight. Why does god hate me? I turned a corner to find a dead end. I turned around to run out, but they were already there. I backed up as they advanced. I hit the end and drew my sword from thin air. I wasn't going down without a fight.
"You were the one who attacked the princess," Twilight said.
"We're you expecting another human," I asked sarcastically.
"I guess not," she said.
"Look," I said, "I just want a cake for a birthday."
I saw Pinkie's mane poof up instantly.
"Really, who's birthday is it? Do you want chocolate, or vanilla? Do you wa-," she was cut off by Twilight.
"He attacked the princess," she said.
"Because she didn't keep her promise," I said.
"What?" Pinkie's hair deflated again.
"I asked her not to hurt someone close to me," I said. They didn't know about Chrysalis yet, and I wasn't about to tell them. "But she captured her and then her personal guard attacked her. I thought that Celestia had hurt her. I'm sorry."
Twilight eyes widen.
"Th-the p-princess didn't keep h-her promise?"
I nodded.
"I'm sorry for attacking you," she said.
"It's fine. Now, can I get that cake?"
Pinkie got me a cake, free of charge. I tried to pay her, but she said it was an apology gift. I took the cake and walked back home. I walked back home and saw Crissy flying around, so I went inside and put the cake in the fridge. Chrysalis came in an hour later.
"Hey Crissy," I said, "Did you have fun?"
"Yes! I can't believe how fun it is to fly!"
"Well, I'm glad you like it."
"So," she said, "Is there something you want to say to me."
I thought for a moment.
"Not that I can think of."
She glared at me.
"Are you sure?"
"Positive."
She stomped her hoof in anger.
"ARRGG!!!" She stormed up to her room and shut the door. I went outside and to the ones hiding out there to hurry in and get ready. While they set everything up, I went to get Crissy. I knocked on the door but didn't get an answer. I could hear a soft crying coming from inside the room. I opened the door and walked in. Chrysalis was laying on her bed; quietly crying. I walked over to her and sat next to her. She didn't seem to notice me, so I softly ran my fingers through her mane.
"Hey," I said, "Are you okay?"
"What do you think?"
"Look, I know you're upset, but will you come downstairs. There's something I want to show you."
"Fine," she said. I got up and she followed me downstairs. As soon as we walked into the kitchen, a bunch of ponies jumped up and yelled, "SURPRISE!!!" Crissy nearly jumped out of her skin. She looked around and saw the decorations, treats and presents. She looked at me. I saw tears forming in her eyes. I looked at her.
"Happy Birthday," I said.
She jumped at me and threw her arms around my neck.
"THANK YOU," she shouted in my ear.
"ARG," I said, grabbing my ear, "I can't hear anything!"
"Sorry," Crissy said.
"WHAT!"
She chuckled and walked over to start the party. Then I saw someone I somehow didn't notice before. Standing at the back of the room, causally siting there, was Celestia and Luna. I wasn't to happy that they were here, but I walked over to them and sat down.
"And is there something you need," I asked sarcastically.
"Well," Celestia said, "We wanted to apologize for trying to take Chrysalis from you. So we decided to come to her birthday party."
"Yes," Luna said, "We are sorry for taking Chrysalis without a reason."
"I see," I said, nonchalantly, "And that is why you are here?"
"Yes," Celestia said.
"Well then," I said, "I will allow you to stay in my home. But, if you even look at me or Chrysalis the wrong way, I will not hesitate to beat you senseless until you get it through your thick skulls that Chrysalis has changed. Do you understand?"
They nodded their heads.
"Good."
I walked away and joined Crissy at the cake. After a few hours, the only ones left were me, Crissy, Celestia, and Luna. The two princesses walked over to us and looked at Chrysalis.
"Look, Chrysalis," Celestia said, "We wanted to apologize to you for trying to take you from this man, and for attacking you and him. We know you won't forgive us, and we aren't asking for forgiveness. But we just wanted to let you know we are sorry."
They started to walk away, but Chrysalis stopped them.
"I forgive you," she said.
"What, why," Luna asked.
"Because, you were sincere. And that is why I forgive you."
They smiled and nodded their heads. They walked out and flew back to the castle. Me and Crissy walked upstairs and went to bed. The next day I woke up and took my shower. I looked to see if Crissy was up, but I couldn't find her anywhere. I looked around outside and in the forest, but she wasn't here. I was pissed. I looked in the direction of the castle. I took off and ran there. When I made it to the castle gate, the guards stopped me.
"STOP!"
"Move," I said, anger seething in my words.
"We can't let you pass."
I grabbed my sword and stabbed them in the legs. They screamed in pain and I ran into the castle. I made to the throne room and saw Celestia wasn't there. I looked in her room, but she wasn't there either. I went to Luna's room, but couldn't find her either. Now I was worried. If Celestia and Luna are gone, then who took Chrysalis? Then I saw a flash of light in the forest. I looked and then ran to were the flash was. When I finally made it, I saw Celestia, Luna, and Chrysalis laying there. I was about to run to them, but stopped when I saw a strange looking unicorn walk over to them. He had a black coat with a mane that looked like shadows. His horn was red.
"Well, well, what do we have here," he said, "The two princesses and a queen. Looks like I'm going to have a feast tonight."
I was pissed. I wasn't about to let this thing eat the princesses, much less Crissy. I ran up to the unicorn and stabbed at him. I was surprised however when my sword stopped just inches from his neck.
"What the," he said as he looked at me. He looked me in the eyes and they grew wide with fear. My eyes were black like they were when Celestia had hurt my sister. I swung at him again, and this time it went through. My sword connected with his side and went in. He screamed in pain.
"If you EVER take the princesses or Chrysalis, I will cut off your head and shove it up your ass. DO YOU UNDERSTAND!?"
He nodded his head and ran off. I looked back to see the princesses trying to get up. I ran over to them and help them up.
"Are you alright," I asked.
"Yes," they said, "But I don't think Chrysalis is."
I looked at Chrysalis. She wasn't breathing.
"No," I said. I ran over to her and put my hand to her chest. There was no pulse. I felt tears start to form in my eyes. She was gone. The only happiness in my life, taken from me because I wasn't paying attention.
"No," I said, "NO! I won't let you die!"
I put my hand on her chest and focused.
"You might want to stand back," I said.
I focused all of my energy and forced it into Chrysalis. Her body glowed and so did I. Then the glow faded and a gasp was heard. I fell to the ground, fighting to stay alive. I looked over to Chrysalis and saw she was alive.
"Crissy," I said, my voice barely over a whisper.
"DADDY!!!" She ran over to me and pick me up in her hooves. She was a good 6 feet tall now. I looked at her and smiled.
"Don't…ever…forget…that I…love…you."
I could barely talk now because I had given all of my energy to Crissy. She looked at me with tears in her eyes.
"Daddy," she whispered, "Don't leave me. I need you."
I smiled at her.
"You…don't need…me…anymore……You…can…take…care…of…yourself.…now.…Just know…that…I will…always…be with…you."
I smiled at her and closed my eyes. I took one last breath; then I laid still.
(POV change to Chrysalis)
"Daddy," I whispered. I shook his body, but he didn't wake up.
"Daddy!?" I shook him some more.
"DADDY!?" I cried onto his lifeless body. He was gone. He was gone forever. I was all alone now. I carried his lifeless body and walked to the Cantorlot cemetery. I used my magic to dig a hole and make a casket. I put him in the casket and lowered it into the ground. Then I covered it up and carved one line onto a rock.
Here lies Jonathon, my father. R.I.P
I got up and walked away. He will live on in my memories. I will never forget him.
(POV changed to Jonathon)
I woke up and looked around. It was all white. Then I saw a shadow walking towards me. It stopped in front of me.
"Who are you," I asked.
"I am God," he said.
"Where am I?"
"You are in heaven. I am here to give you a choice."
"What do you mean," I asked.
"You can either stay here with your family. Or you can go back to the real world with your daughter."
"My family."
He nodded and turned his head and I saw my family standing there. I walked over to them and looked at my grandpa.
"Grandpa," I said, "I'm so sorry. I never meant to say that."
"It's alright," he said, "Thank you for taking care of your siblings. But now you need to take care of your daughter. She is shattered without you."
I looked over at god.
"I've made my choice. I will return to the real world for my daughter."
He nodded and I started to glow. Then I woke up in an enclosed space. I felt around and found the top. I summoned an axe and started hacking away. Soon, I was crawling out of a hole. I looked around and saw that I was in what looked like the Cantorlot cemetery. So if I was here, then the Everfree was close. But first, I needed to see a princess. She needed to know I was alive. I made my way into the castle without getting caught. It was nighttime so it wasn't to hard. I made my way to Luna's room to talk to her. I found it and walked in. I looked around but she wasn't on the bed. She was on her balcony looking up at the night sky. She had tears in her eyes. I walked up behind her and looked at the sky. It was amazing. I had always loved the night. I wasn't able to see the night back on earth because of the pollution.
Luna looked down.
"I wish some ponies would look at my night instead of sleeping through it," she said.
"I can grant you that wish," I said.
She gasped and turned around to see who it was. She saw me and her eyes went wide.
"Jonathon," she said, "Is that you?"
"In the flesh."
"Oh god. I can't believe you're alive. Chrysalis has been heartbroken ever since you died."
"I know," I said, "That is why I'm going to find her. But I wanted to make sure you knew I was alive. But don't tell Celestia. It's better that she doesn't know for now."
"Why," she asked.
"Just, don't tell her. Please."
"Okay."
"Thank you," I said.
I walked out of the castle and made my way into the forest. I found our home and walked inside. I walked up the stairs and found her bedroom. I quietly opened the door and walked in. She was sleeping on the bed. Se just barely fit in it anymore. She was at least 6 1/2 feet tall now, so she was full height. I walked over to the bed and sat on the edge. She didn't seem to notice me, so I got up and walked into my room. I laid down in my old bed. I was so tired, I fell asleep instantly. The next morning, I woke up and got out of bed. I walked down to Chrysalis's room, and she was still asleep. Good. I walked down stairs and made her breakfast. After I was done, I left a note that said, 'Hope you like it.' And that was it. I hid when I heard hoof steps walking down the stairs. She walked into the kitchen and saw the food. Her eyes widen. She saw the note and read it. The she immediately started eating the food. When she was finished, she thought for a moment.
"Wait a minute," she said, "I haven't tasted food this good since……dad died."
She looked down and started to cry. I got up and walked up behind her.
"Hey, don't you start crying on me," I said.
She gasped and slowly turned around. She saw me and just sat there. She slowly raised her hoof and touched my arm.
"Is there something you saw," I asked, smiling.
"DADDY!!!" She tackled me and hugged me. I laughed and hugged her back. I stroked her mane as she cried onto my shoulder.
"Daddy," she said, "You've been gone for so long. I've missed you."
"Don't worry sweetie," I said, "I'm never going to leave you again."
She nodded and hugged me closer.
"Listen, Crissy." I looked her in the eyes.
"Yes dad?"
"I need to go see Celestia, so I will be gone for a while. But I will be back, okay?"
She nodded.
I got up and walked out the door. I got to the castle and snuck past the guards. I made my way slowly to the throne room. I walked in and saw Celestia reading what looked like a letter. She didn't see me, so I snuck up to her. There was only a few guards, so,it was easy to get behind her. I walked up to her and stood there. She was reading a friendship report from Twilight. I decided to read it. It wasn't anything different about it, so I didn't finish it. I walked closer to Celestia until I was right behind her. Then, I put my hand to her mouth and turned her to face me. I wasn't happy that she decided to leave Chrysalis to fend for her self, and she saw the anger in my eyes. She screamed into my hand and the guards heard her. They turned around and saw me. They attacked. I scowled; released Celestia, and drew my sword. One guards swung, but I blocked it and kicked him across the room. Another one tried to take out my legs, but I jumped over it and cut his legs. He screamed. The others realized that they couldn't beat me, so they ran off. I turned to Celestia, but she wasn't there. I looked around but she wasn't in the throne room. I ran out and to her room; taking any guards out along the way. I found her room and busted down the doors. She was attempting to send a letter. I ran to stop her, but she sent it just before I reached her. She tried to teleport, but I grabbed her horn to stop her. She screamed in pain.
"NO," I shouted, "YOU AREN'T GOING ANYWHERE!!!"
She whimpered.
"You are going to tell me why you decided to leave Chrysalis to fend for herself!"
She stayed quiet.
"I don't think so," she said smugly.
"What are you talking about?"
"You forget, the elements of harmony are very protective. And they will attack you."
"We'll see about that," I said.
She smirked.
"NOW GIRLS!"
"WHAT!?" I turned around to see the elements standing there, a bright glow forming around them. Then, a giant rainbow erupted and flew at me. Before I could hit me, I raised my sword and pushed against it. It didn't hit me as I pushed it back.
"WHAT!?" Celestia looked at me in shock.
"You can't use the elements on me," I said smugly, "I'm not evil. I'm here to protect my daughter from YOU!" As soon as I finished the sentence, I swung my sword up and the rainbow shot up and away from me. They six fell to the floor, out cold. I looked at Celestia and glared at her. She froze in fear.
"You dare attack me," I said, my voice dripping with venom, "You leave my daughter to fend for her self, THEN YOU ATTACK ME!?"
I grabbed her by the neck and threw her across the room. She collided with the wall and fell to the ground. I walked up to her as she tried to get up. I grabbed her horn and lifted her above my head.
"Now, you will tell me why. Why did you try to attack me? And why did you leave Chrysalis to fend for herself?"
"Because," she said angrily, "She doesn't deserve our help."
"WHAT!?" I slammed her to the ground. "YOU THINK SHE DOESN'T DESERVE YOU HELP!? SHE HAS DONE NOTHING BUT HELP YOU!!! AND YOU SAY SHE DOESN'T DESERVE YOUR HELP!?"
I picked her up by the horn and threw her. She hit the wall horn first and it broke off. She let out a blood curdling scream.
"FIRST YOU TRY TO TAKE CHRYSALIS FROM ME, THEN YOU NEARLY KILL MY SISTER, THEN YOU IMPRISON HER, AND NOW YOU SAY SHE DOESN'T DESERVE YOUR HELP!?!?!?"
I picked her up by the neck; pinned her against the wall, and choked her. She tried to grab at my hand but couldn't. Just before she fell into unconsciousness, I let her go. She laid there gasping for breath.
"If you ever attack me you my daughter again, I will kill you. And if you try to have the elements or your sister attack me, I will send you their severed head in a box. I don't want that to happen. I love them, but if they threaten us, then I will do anything to protect Chrysalis."
I left her there, and went to Luna's room. I walked in and saw her sitting at her desk reading her book. I walked up to her and tapped her shoulder.
"Luna," I said, "I need to tell you something."
"What is it Jonathon?"
"I love you to much to hurt you. I love you. But if you threaten my family, then I will protect them. That is why I wanted to ask you if you would ignore you sister if she asks you to attack us. I just wanted to tell you that. I love you to much to hurt you."
I started to walk out but Luna stopped me. I turned to look at her, but instead found her kissing me. I was a little stunned at first, but eventually kissed back. She stepped back and looked at me.
"I love you too," she said, "I will never threaten your family. Even if Celestia was begging me."
I smiled.
"Thank you."
I walked out and went home. I walked inside; got into bed, and thought about what just happened. I just kissed Luna. The princess of the night. I was happy. Then, my door opened. I sat up expecting Chrysalis, but instead saw Luna. I watched as she walked up to me and sat on the bed. I just continued to stare. Finally, she broke the silence.
"Do you really love me," she asked.
"Yes. I love everything about you. I especially love your nights. I wasn't able to see them very well back on my planet because of all the pollution, but here I can see them clearly. And they are beautiful."
I saw her eyes start to water.
"Thank you. I've never had anyone enjoy my nights. They always sleep through them and play in the day."
"Well," I said, "I particularly hate the day. Too bright."
She giggled.
"Luna," I said as I moved closer to her and put my arm around her, "You need to stop thinking like that. No pony hates your nights. They just don't have the time to watch and enjoy it. No body hates it."
She looked at me. Her eyes were filled with tears.
"Y-you really th-think so?"
"I know so."
Then she threw her fore legs around me and hugged me. After a moment, I hugged back.
"Thank you," she said.
"I always help a friend."
"D-do you mind if…I stay…for a while?"
I thought for a moment.
"Yes," I said, "You are always welcome here. But your sister isn't."
"Thank you."
We laid down and she fell asleep. As I was closing my eyes, I felt something move up against me. I looked over and saw that Luna had nuzzled up against my side. I smiled and ran my fingers through her mane and down her back. She sighed and rustled her wings. I chuckled and a few minutes later, I fell asleep.

Fighting the sun and Armor

(4 years later)
Me and Luna have been getting closer and closer ever since the first night she stayed. Crissy was fine with it, but we haven't told Celestia and probably won't. But she'll find out eventually. I know she will. Today, I was taking Chrysalis to the castle. She had been wanting to go there for some reason, so I decided why not. We made our way there and she had to put on a disguise. We had to sneak in because of what I did to Celestia. I followed her through the castle. Then, she stopped in front of a door with a giant heart on it. Then I saw Chrysalis drop her disguise and knock on the door.
"What are you doing," I asked.
"I need to apologize to Cadence."
My eyes widen. So she had already attacked the castle. I was about to tell her this was a bad idea, but before I could, Shining Armor answered the door. She saw me and then saw Chrysalis.
"You," he said. I could feel the anger in his voice, "I'll kill you."
He charged a spell and aimed it at Chrysalis. I dove at her and tackled her just before the spell hit her. I picked her up and ran. Shining gave chase. As I was running throught the castle, I contacted Luna. Ever since we had started…I guess you could call it dating, she made a telepathic link between us. Soon, I sensed that Luna could hear me.
"LUNA," I shouted in my mind, "SHINING IS TRYING TO KILL US!"
"I'm on my way." I severed the connection and kept running. Beams of red and blue were flying past me as I carried Crissy through the castle. Then, guess what happened. I ran into princess Celestia. Literally. I turned a corner and ran right into her. If her horn was still there, it would have impaled me. I got up and continued to run. Now I was being chased by both Shining Armor and Celestia. Karma is a bitch. I turned a corner and it was a dead end. I turned around to face Celestia and Shining. I put Chrysalis behind me and drew my sword.
"You," Celestia said, "You broke my horn off. Now you will pay."
"Yeah," I said sarcastically, "Good luck with that."
She charged at me and Shining shot and bolt of lightning at me. My sword blocked the lightning, but Celestia ran into me. I flew back and hit the wall. I saw Shining charge at me. I waited until he was past Chrysalis before moving to the side. I looked at Chrysalis.
"RUN," I yelled, "FIND HER!"
I turned around and block another spell from Shining. Then I was hit in the side by Celestia. I saw Chrysalis run off.
(POV change to Chrysalis)
I ran away from the fight. I knew I couldn't help dad, so I went to find Luna. I ran through the castle. Finally, I saw her running down a hall.
"LUNA," I shouted. She saw me and ran over.
"Where is he," she asked.
"This way." I ran down a hall a lead her to where the fight was.
(POV change to Jonathon)
I wasn't doing well. Between trying to block spells and a charging Celestia. That wasn't easy. By now I was barely able to stand but I kept fighting. I had cut in my aide from where Celestia had hit me, and my clothes had holes in them from the spells that had connected. Right now I was holding Celestia back while dodging spells. Then, I saw Celestia start to charge so I got ready to stop her, but then, I was hit in the side by a lightning spell from Shining. I screamed in pain and fell to the floor. I lay there, gasping in pain. I look and see Celestia walking over to me. I knew this was it, so I prepared myself. I saw Shining chage a spell and aim at me. But just before it hit me, a dark blue shield appeared and blocked it.
"NO!"
I look to see who it was, and I saw them. Standing there, Chrysalis beside her, was Luna. Celestia was shocked that she had defended me.
"LUNA," she shouted, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?"
"I'm defended the one I love."
Celestia froze. She never knew about us and now her own sister was turning against her.
"Sister," Celestia said, but was cut off by Luna.
"No, I don't want to hear it. You attack him and tried to kill him. You know how much Chrysalis loves him, and yet you still didn't think about that."
"HE BROKE MY HORN OFF!!!"
"Because you were threatening his daughter. What would you do if he had threatened to kill me?"
Celestia stopped.
"I would have done anything to save you," she said.
"That's right. And that's what Jonathon was doing." She looked at Shining Armor, "And you were trying to kill her. I am discussed by both of you."
Luna and Chrysalis walked over to me and helped me up.
"Thanks," I said.
"Are you okay," Luna asked.
"Yeah. Just a little tired is all."
"Let’s go home."
I wrapped my arms around them for support and Luna teleported us back to our house.
"I can't believe Celestia attacked you," Luna said, "I'm ashamed to call her sister."
"Luna," I said. I tried to stand but fell to the ground. They picked me up and put me on the couch.
"Thanks. Luna, I love you. Don't forget that. But I don't want you to hate your sister."
"But she almost killed you."
I chuckled.
"Why are you laughing," Luna asked.
"Because," I said, "I can't die. My god has allowed me to be immortal to be with my daughter. So Celestia can't kill me."
Their eyes widen.
"Really," Chrysalis asked.
"Yes."
They both hugged me tightly. I hugged them back and kissed Luna.
"Hey," I said, "Will you help me upstairs? I really need some sleep."
They nodded. They helped me up the stairs; into my room, and put me down on the bed.
"Thanks."
They left the room and I fell asleep. An hour later, I awoke to my door opening. I sat up and saw Luna standing there.
"What is it Luna," I asked.
"Chrysalis is in bed."
"That's good."
"Yeah."
She continued to stand there. I smiled as I realized what she wanted.
"Do you want to sleep with me tonight," I asked.
She smiled and nodded. She hopped on the bed and snuggled close to me. I rolled over on my side and rested my arm over her. She moved closer and turned her head to look at me. Then, she asked me something that caught me completely off guard.
"Would you like to stay up late tonight?"
I looked at her and saw a seducive look on her face. I smiled.
"Are you thinking about what I think you are?"
She smiled.
"Maybe."
I smiled and pulled her closer.
"I hope you are."
(This is not a clop fic, so I will not be mentioning what they are doing. Sorry, but I’m not into that stuff.)

True Curse

View Online

(The next morning)
I woke up the next morning. I was pretty tired after last night’s events with Luna, so we had fallen asleep after we were done. I looked over and saw Luna lying next to me. I smile and rubbed her side with my hand. She giggled in her sleep and mumbled,
"Stop it."
I chuckled; got out of bed, and went to take my shower. As I was walking out of the bathroom, I noticed Crissy's door was open. I looked in, but she wasn't there. I walked downstairs and found her sleeping on the couch. I walked over and sat down beside her. She stirred and woke up.
"Why are you sleeping in the couch," I asked.
"To much screaming upstairs," she said, still half-asleep.
"Oh. Heh heh. Sorry about that."
"To tired. Need sleep," she said and laid back down and fell back asleep. I chuckled and went into the kitchen to make some breakfast. As I was about to finish, I felt wind rush past me and sit down at the table. I looked over and saw Luna and Chrysalis sitting at the table, forks and knives at the ready.
"Holy shit," I said as I tried to stop the world from spinning, "How the hell do you move so fast."
"I like food," they both said.
"Too much apparently."
I brought them the food and we ate in quiet. We were about to finish when I heard a knock on the door. Crissy heard it to and disguised herself as I opened the door. There wasn't anyone there. I was about to close it when I heard a 'pop'. I knew that sound. I turned around to see...
"Celestia," I growled.
"Hello, Jonathon. So good to see you."
"I can't say the same about you," I said, "What are you doing here? And how did you get here?"
Then I notice something I should have seen right away. Her mane, instead of the normal multicolors, was a roaring fire. Then I saw something sticking out of it. HER HORN!? She had somehow gotten her horn back.
"Well," she said, "I see you noticed the difference in my appearance. I realized the only way to kill you was to... give into Nightmare."
"SISTER!!!" I looked behind Celestia and saw Luna standing there.
"Ah, Luna. I see you still defend this man."
"Sister," Luna said, "Please. Don't do this."
"NO," Celestia yelled, "YOU BETRAYED ME FOR THIS... THING!!! IF YOU CHOSE TO DEFEND THIS MAN, THEN YOU WILL DIE WITH HIM!!!"
"I'm willing to die to save my love," Luna said.
"Very well then," Celestia said, "I will just kill you both."
She charged at me and rammed me into the wall. I grabbed her head and pushed her back. She was a lot stronger than before. I pushed her away and Luna shot a bolt of magic at her. Celestia just laughed and blocked it with a shield. I drew two swords and swung at Celestia. She used her horn to block my attacks. The she I was hit with a bolt of lightning from her and flew into the wall. She turned to Luna and started shot magic at her. Luna could barely block the powerful magic. I knew we couldn't beat Celestia. There was only one way to defeat her. I dove at Celestia and tackled her to the ground.
"LUNA," I shouted as I tried to pin Celestia to the ground, "YOU TAKE CHRYSALIS AND FIND THE ELEMENTS!!! IT'S THE ONLY WAY TO STOP AND SAVE CELESTIA!!! GO! NOW!!!"
Luna grabbed Chrysalis and flew out the door. Celestia managed to push me off and stood up to face me.
"No matter," she said, "I'll just find her later."
"You think you can be feat me," I said, "I have gods power. He has made me immortal. I cannot die. You can stab and blast me all you want, but I will just keep fighting."
I didn't want to do this, but I had no choice. See, summoning isn't the only thing I can do. This is what my curse really is. I focused my power and started to change. On my back grew dragon wings. My arms covered in scales and grew extremely sharp claws. My legs grew thicker and longer. My face started to turn into a large maw with rows of sharp teeth. The last thing to change were my eyes. Instead of the normal blue eyes I had, the turned yellow and my pupils became little slits. I stood up and looked Celestia in the eyes.
"This is my true form," I said in a deep, booming voice, "You have threatened me and my family for the last time. Now, you will pay!"
I charged at Celestia and we continued our fight.
(POV change to Luna)
5 minutes after leaving
Chrysalis and I flew to Ponyville as fast as we could. Finally, we found it. We flew through the town, making our way to the library. We burst through the door and found Twilight reading a book.
"TWILIGHT," I yelled as I entered the tree.
"AHHHH!"
"Twilight," I said, "We need you and the elements to help us!"
"Why," she asked.
"Celestia gave into Nightmare and is trying to kill Jonathon!"
"WHAT!?"
"Yes. I need you to gather the elements and meet us by the forest."
"I'll get them as fast as I can!"
They ran out the door and went their separate ways. After about a half hour, Twilight and the rest of the elements were running through the forest with me and Chrysalis.
"We need to hurry," I said, "I don't know how long Jonathon can hold out against Celestia."
They continued to run until they heard fighting. They followed the sound and found the house...or what was left of it. The house was completely destroyed. And in the middle of the rubble was Celestia and what looked like a bipedal dragon. The dragon fought Celestia, but wasn't doing to well. It had holes in it from being stabbed by Celestia. Celestia also had been hurt. She had a gash along her side, but it didn't seem to bother her. They didn't notice us so I told the elements to get ready.
(POV change to Jonathon)
I had been fighting Celestia for almost an hour now, and I wasn't doing well. My wings had holes in them, and I had scorch marks on my chest. I had managed to gash Celestia but it didn't do anything but annoy her.
"WHY WON'T YOU DIE," she yelled.
I just chuckled.
"You can't defeat me. You will never hurt my family again!!"
I grabbed her by the neck and slammed her into the ground. I continued to choke her and I yelled at her.
"YOU HAVE HARMED MY FAMILY FOR THE LAST TIME!!! I WILL KILL YOU!!! THEN I WILL BEAT THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF CELESTIA FOR GIVING INTO YOU!!! I WILL DESTROY YOU!!!"
I grabbed her horn and picked her up. I was about to break it off when I heard,
"STOP!!!"
I froze and looked over my shoulder. Running up to me, with Luna and the elements behind her, was Chrysalis. She up to me and nuzzled my chest.
"Dad. Don't do this. We can save her."
"No. I will not allow Nightmare to live. She is the one how did this."
"Dad." She looked up at me, "You have to forgive her."
I looked at Celestia, then back at Chrysalis, and again at Celestia. I sighed and dropped Celestia. She laid on the ground, gasping for breath. Chrysalis smiled and hugged me.
"Thank you, daddy."
"Yes, thank you for releasing me."
I looked at Celestia and saw her horn glow. A bolt of magic shot out and headed towards Luna. I got up and dove in front of Luna, and instead the spell hit me right in the chest. I fell to the ground, barely alive. Luna and Chrysalis screamed and ran to my side. I looked up at them and smiled.
"Heh...looks like...I wasn't immortal...after all."
"No. Daddy, don't leave me again. You promised."
"I'm sorry...Crissy......I will always...be with you..."
"Jonathon," Luna said, "Please. Don't leave us."
I looked over at Luna. After taking that spell head on, I had turned back to normal. I kissed Luna.
"I will...always love you...Luna.......Don't either of...you forget....that."
I smiled at them one more time, before closing my eyes and laying still.
(POV change to Chrysalis)
Dad's chest lay still. He was dead. I had lost him again. I let my tears fall freely. Then, something happened. Me and Luna started to rise. Power flowed through and around us.
"WHAT IS HAPPENING," Celestia yelled.
Me and Luna then started to glow. We looked at Jonathon, and felt rage well up inside. Suddenly, a huge beam of light shot from our horns. The beam connected with Celestia and she screamed in pain. We fell to the ground. I looked over to where dad was laying on the ground. I slowly got up and stumbled over to him with Luna right behind me. I sat down next to him and let my tears fall. Luna cried along with me. I heard the elements crying to. Then I looked over to where Celestia lay and saw she was lying on the ground, also crying. Then, something happened. Our tears started to fly to his body. They landed and seeped into his skin. Soon, his body began to glow brightly. We had to turn our heads because it was so bright. Suddenly, I heard a gasp of air. The glow had subsided so I turned my head to look. There, sitting up like nothing ever happened, was dad.
"Miss me?"
"DAD!!!" I jumped at him and hugged him tightly.
"Jonathon," Luna said. She walked over to him and hugged him closely.
"Hey. It's ok. This time I will never leave you again."
We nodded into his chest as we hugged him.
(POV change to Jonathon)
I hugged Luna and Chrysalis close. Then I looked at the white creature on the ground. I got them off of me and walked over to Celestia. I stopped in front of her and looked down at her. Then, I held out my hand. She looked at it, then looked at me in anger.
"Why are you helping me? I'm still in control."
"Because, you may have killed me. You may have tried to kill my family and friends, but everyone and everything deserves a second chance."
She looked at my hand again, before grabbing it. I helped her up and looked her in the eyes.
"Vega," I said.
"How do you know my real name," she asked.
"I know a lot of things, but that's not the point. Vega, you need stop doing this. You are better than this. And so are you Celestia."
I saw here expression change for a second, looking regretful, but then went back to anger.
"You know nothing about what I've been through. Why I'm like this."
"Maybe. But I understand better than most. And I can help you. All you need to do is release Celestia and I can help you both."
She looked down in thought. Then, she brought her head up and looked at me.
"Very well. But I need a physical body to use."
"You can use mine," I said, "But don't try to take over. Because you can’t.”
“Very well,” she said. Then, an orange mist lifted off of Celestia and floated over to me. I nodded and the mist seemed to seep through my skin.
‘You in there,’ I asked her.
‘Yes.’
‘Good.”
I looked over at Celestia who was just standing up. She looked at me with anger in her eyes.
“Celestia, don’t try anything you will regret,” I told her.
She was still mad but she seemed to calm down.
“You said you could help us?”
“Yes. Luna, come here please.”
Luna walked over and stood beside me.
“Is there something you wanted to say to your sister,” I told her.
“Celestia. I’m sorry. I never wanted to make you feel like I betrayed you. Nor for you to think I hated you. I love you sister. I just love Jonathon as a lover.”
Celestia was deep in thought.
“I’m sorry Luna,” she said, “I shouldn’t have acted the way I did. I was just upset for think I had lost you. I’m sorry.”
Luna walked up to her sister and gave her an affectionate nuzzle.
“It’s ok sister. I did the same thing 1000 years ago.”
“Thank you.”
“Well,” I said, “Now that that’s taken care of, I believe it’s time for me to have a talk with myself.”
They looked at me in confusion.
“Vega.”
“Ohhhhh.”
We went to the castle and I went to a private area to talk to Vega.

Talking about Problems

View Online

I walked into a secluded area of the castle. Once there, I called for a maid.

"Yes," the maid said as she entered the room.

"Hold still," I said. Vega left my body and flew at the maid. It was almost like possesing her. Then she turned and looked at me.

"There. Now, you said you can help me?"

"Yes, but i need to know what happened."

"Fine," she said. She spent the next hour explaining how she became Nightmare.

"Wow," was all I could say after hearing her story, "So, let me get this strait. The king and queen imprisoned your family and turned you into this because you attacked them?"

"Yes."

"I see. I'm sorry."

"Why would you be," she shouted, "You dont understand the pain I went through."

"No, but I understand better than most. You see, I lost my family to."

She looked at me with what looked like tears.

"You did to?"

"Yeah. My parents were killed in a fire. And my grandparents died of natural causes. My siblings are probably dead by now. I only have Luna and Chrysalis left. And I don't want to lose them."

Saying that, letting all the pain and suffering out, I just sat there and cried. I had kept all that misery bottled inside. Now it was all flowing out. I barely noticed when Vega walked up to me and hugged me. I just kept crying. Finally, after a few minutes, I stopped crying.

"I'm soory," I said, "I should be helping you."

"No. I'm fine. It's you who needs help. Why did you keep that all bottled up?"

"I don't know," I said, "Old habits die hard."

"I'm sorry about what happened."

"It's fine. It wasnt your fault. Its already been taken care of."

"Good."

Vega looked away.

"I've been meaning to ask you something."

"About what," I said.

"About your curse."

"Oh."

"If you don't want to talk about it tha-."

"No. It needs to be heard. But what I'm about to tell you is very grusome, and you may not like what happened."

"I'll be fine," she said.

"Alright."

(17 years ago. POV Jonathon)

I was walked from school after being kicked around and bullied for my apperence one day. As I was walking I saw someone being robbed at gun point. I just ignored it. It's not like I could have done anything about it. I just kept walking home. As I was walking, I noticed smoke coming from the direction of our house. I started running there as fast as I could. By the time I got there, the house was nothing but ash. Then I notice lumps in the ash. As I continued to look, I notice they resembled bodies. Two of them.

"MOM!!! DAD!!!" I was about to them but my arm was grabbed by something. I turned expecting a firefighter, but instead came face to face with a middle aged man. Then I saw his eyes. They looked like pits of fire.

"Come with me. I can help you get them back." His Voice sounded like a snake hissing. Not thinking, I followed the man into a back ally.

"How can you help me," I asked.

"I can give you the power to defend your family. But, you must give me something in return."

"I'll give you anything. Please, I just want to help my family."

He sneered.

"Don't worry. I've already taken him. Now hold still." he walked over to me.

"Wait. what did you me..." I froze as his hand touched my head. I felt a horrible burning sensation flow through my body. It was like my body was being burned from the inside out. I screamed in pain. Then, Everything went black. I woke up in the same ally. I got to my feet and looked around. Everything looked different. Then, I saw my hands. But they weren't hands anymore. They were claws. Then I noticed people walking around my house. I listened in on their conversation.

"What happened," one asked.

"oh. someone burned the house down."

"Yeah no shit shelock. Were is the son of the family?"

"Why," the second one asked.

"Because, his grandfather died last night."

I didn't hear the rest of the conversation. That is what the man ment by i already took him. He took my grandfather. And now I was cursed. I let out a deep, loud growl. I was going to kill the man who did this. Eventually, I found a way to change back into a human. But I never forgot what that man did to me.

(Present)

Vega sat there, frozen.

"I-I'm so sorry."

"Don't be," I said, "It was my fault. I should have thought about the consequences about dealing with the devil."

She walked over to me and hugged me.

"I'm sorry about attacking you and your family."

I hugged her back this time.

"It's fine. It was just in your nature. I'm sorry about almost killing you."

She laughed.

"Oh please. You didn't come any where near killing me.'

I chuckled.

"Yeah. You're probably right."

We left the room and went our seprate ways.

Hey guys. No, this isn't a chapter. This is just a thank you to all of you who helped me continue these stories. As you may not have known, this story didn't start out very well. I got a lot of critism in the begining, but then people come along and told me to continue it. When I finished this story, I had around 400 views I believe, and about 20 likes. I was just going to leave it like that. BUt then you guys said you wanted a sequel. I wasn't going to make one, but then a young man by the name of The Pink Menace told me that he loved it and would love it if I would make a sequel. Ok. That isn't what he said. He said something like "IF YOU DON'T MAKE A SEQUEL, I'LL TURN YOU INTO A CUPCAKE!!!" or something like that. But since I got a lot of comments to make a sequel, I did. And it has gotten a lot of good review, thanks to you guys. So again, thank you all for reading my stories. If you would recommend my stories to your friends, followers, it would mean a lot to me. Thank you all for your support. And as always, BRONIES FOREVER!!!
