(Love interest is not revealed in any of the current chapters. So don't freak out when you don't see it. I'm also focusing on a very realistic sense of love. This will be a later part of the story when romance becomes truly relevant. Anon In Equestria Story

The year is 1943 and World War Two rages on. Axis forces are starting to exhaust their supply's of iron. In a desperate attempt to get back in the war Germany launches an attack to conquer Greenland. Seeing Nazi Germany's aggression's Canada launches a mission to defend Greenland from the German invasion. After fighting over the Arctic for iron deposits, Anon a 24 year old RCAF pilot awakens in northern Equestria after being frozen for four million years. The only items that can remind him of humanity is himself and his beloved spitfire. (The plane of course.)

This story by all means is not historically accurate. The only things that are accurate in this story 'history wise' is the information given for the Supermarine Spitfire MK VB. As for physics and other sciency stuff I try to explain why things that should kill you don't.

Fires will fade, and darkness will consume the world. Over the ages countless Lords of Cinders have risen and fallen. All of them having completed their quest: To link the First Flame.

The Unkindled One stands before the First Flame. It's just an ordinary bonfire, right? He is tired, broken, and only wants to rest.

A summoning sign appears. Thinking it is the Firekeeper, the Unkindled One reaches out for it.

What he summons, however, shocks him.

Just a one-shot that popped up in my mind while finishing Dark Souls III. The Unkindled One had been through a lot of pain and suffering. And I could only think of one pony to comfort him while he pondered over his next move.

The nature and ferocity of these events soon comes to suggest only one plausible explanation, that another former SOLDIER may have somehow found their way to the land of ponies.

I don't know what to believe anymore. I was sure they were all monsters, all demons bent on destroying any peace I and my new friends might find in this life.

Instead of burning this world down around me, their weapons are pointed away from the planet, not towards it.

As if that conundrum wasn't perplexing enough, I also have to deal with finding my own place in this odd, yet familiar society. But how does one simply go back to being normal? Especially knowing that the real monsters that caused this mess in the first place could be just around the corner?

After all, it's not like I'll ever see my home planet again. They may not be here to hurt me or my friends, but I still don't trust these 'friendly' aliens to get me a ride home...

Time, the ever-flowing measure of action. It is not a physical thing that one can touch or feel, but an abstract thought of the difference between now, then, and later. It is the indefinite continued progress of existence. What happens when one has the ability to control time? He is deemed one of the most powerful beings on the planet, for he can stop you in your tracks without any effort at all.
