Rainbow Dash has been back in Equestria for four years, but the planet has not been idle. The knowledge that they are not alone has catapulted Equestria forward. Reverse engineered technology has pushed the world into a new golden age. Leading the way in new Arc-tech developments is Twilight Sparkle, her discoveries and inventions seeing use across the length and breadth of Equestria. Her latest invention is set to be the most influential yet, the crowning glory in the Element of Magic’s scientific career. When something goes wrong however, and Applejack is forcibly teleported from the boundaries of the world, only one pony has any knowledge about where she might be. But even she can’t do it alone, not this time. Luckily, she won’t have to.
Enter the Swooping Pegasi, and watch their descent into the darkness.

This story is a sequel to Swooping Pegasus. I would recommend reading that story first to understand some of the bits in this story, but it is not 100% necessary.

For the past few months Equestria has watched as the Griffon Kingdoms have been united by a single, powerful, warlord. The celebration of peace with the Changelings has been cut short as the rest of the continent has seen itself rapidly unravel under the weight of the griffons militancy. Parliament has been called, and the nation will soon decide the path it will tread.

The changelings bear the first assault in the opening barrage, but this is not the only problem facing them. Their origins, and what it means to really be a changeling, weighs heavily on the changeling ambassador as he grapples not only with the survival of his people through the war, but what their future will hold in store

Soon they will have to face them on the field, and there will be no turning back. What the Griffons really want, and how Equestria and the changelings will stop them, remains to be seen.

Note: Shorts are in a wobbly chronological order. Each separate will have holes in them, but all together them form a coherent chronological structure.

Continuation in progress: A Circle Has No End
Changeling Eta-Gamma, now going by his nickname 'Wildcard", is the new Changeling Ambassador to Equestria, following the signing of a treaty of friendship.
Celestia has high hopes that the new friendship between Equestria and the Changeling Hive will usher in a new age of peace, but events elsewhere quickly put a damper on this hope. The Ambassador has his own problems as well, as he starts his mission with quite a few unhappy ponies harassing him. It's good that he has a nice desk- it's where he spends most of his time.

In his journey he meets several friends, makes a few enemies, and quickly falls for a pegasus with a mane to match his blue eyes. Discoveries are made, truths are unveiled, and decisions of vast importance are decided.

It is Wildcards mission to represent the Hive, and to convince the ponies the Hive means well. Time will tell if the resources he has will be enough.

She awakens in a strange room bound to a bed by several casts and bandages. A young colt found her near his home and tends to her while she recovers, each day bringing them closer and closer.

Can the Queen of Changelings even have true feelings of love, or is she just kidding herself?

When the Royal Wedding scatters defeated changelings all over Equestria, a member of the hive winds up being captured in Ponyville, tied up, stunned, repeatedly shot by a cannon, and held against his will.

The truly frightening part is he’s starting to like it.

Who would have thought a pony and a changeling could have children together. I certainly wouldn't have. This is Shining Armor, and I'm in a weird situation. Chrysalis has shown up to my home and dropped a kid off stating that it was our son.

What will Cadance think? How am I going to raise a changeling child? Why does Chrysalis keep coming into my life, and why am I finding it harder to keep her away? Hopefully answers can be found with as little problems as possible. Oh who the Tartarus am I kidding, my seed is a changeling! There's bound to be a problem along the way.

At first, Chrysalis loathed him; the dumb-as-a-brick woodspony who goes by the name of Evergreen. But through circumstance, he is her only savior.
