Twilight Sparkle is the personal student of Princess Celestia, principal and founder of the Eos Dueling School. After her warnings about the possible return of an ancient, evil being are dismissed, Twilight is instructed to go to Ponyville and evaluate a potential Duel Monsters school. There she will meet an unlikely bunch of duelists.

Applejack, a farmer with high level dueling skills. Rainbow Dash, who doesn't know the meaning of the word "defeat". Rarity, who wants to dazzle the world with her dueling skills. Fluttershy, a timid girl who can see more than she lets on and Pinkie Pie, an energetic girl who wants to make others smile with her dueling. They will all have to work together to face the return of the Maiden in the Moon.

With everything going back to normal... *Pft* Who am I kidding? Nothing is normal in the town of Ponyville. With the everyday craziness that you can find there, you can now find even more of it. I present to you Pinkie Pie and Diane Pie! Yes, there are two of them in town now!

As Alexander settles into Ponyville as Diane Pie. He enjoys the daily life of Pinkie Pie as she shows him the ropes to being a party pony. Meeting the family, explaining what is going on to every new pony he meets and getting used to now being called "she". All in a pink pony's day.

Trying not to think about her own home world Diane jumps the opportunity to fit in. All is fine, even if she does know that some things will be coming their way in the near future... Only thing is that she thinks she knows what. When in reality, she has no idea how wrong she is.
For in the shadows, there are others, not so happy with the recent turn of events. And they will do anything to get things their way.

But for now, let's see if we can get a status report from Diane Pie as she once again turns to the fourth wall to explain what happened since we last saw her and what is currently going on.

A human wakes up to find that not only has he been altered in species and gender, but that he has also landed halfway across the world from Equestria, in an unfamiliar land.

This is not that story. Not yet, anyway.

A decade in passing and Kaz has gained a reputation as a member of a well-known group of explorers traveling the world. Not once have they set foot on Equestrian soil, and she was content to keep it that way, for her appearance would bring about unwanted attention from a few certain ponies and one certain baby dragon. So what happens when the rest of the group hears of unbelievable tales of Equestria, and decide that it's time they paid a visit?

An impending disaster, that's what.

Ever since she's made the trip to an alternate Equestria multiple times, twilight has begun to think heavily about the portal. Is it just a connection between the two dimensions or are there more connection to more worlds that can be made. After a long time of theorizing and discussing it with Sunset Shimmer she decided to set up an experiment to test her hypothesis. In the presence of her friends, her brother, Discord, and fellow princesses she begins the experiment which in the end has dazzling and explosive results. In the aftermath they discover that beings have made their way through the portal and that they are just a bit different from the norm that they know. They're a bit more defensive, more fight-y, more...quirky? With the portal being in need of repair they can't immediately send them back and so hopefully the new arrivals will be able to wait patiently while it's being fixed. And maybe in that time they can show Equestria just exactly who they are and what they stand for while they watch over and protect creatures of a world not their own from a dangerous force using something they might recognize

Over a year ago, myself and four other FiMFiction authors started our own Ponyfinder campaign. The campaign lasted over a year, and followed the adventures of five brave little ponies, as they attempted to win fortune and glory in the eyes of their princess. Traveling across all of Equestria, into distant griffon lands, and through the realm of dreams itself, they struggle to prove themselves and win a place in the world.

Nine hundred years before Nightmare Moon's return, Equestria is a very different place. Old tensions between the three races still linger, and Celestia's peace is still unproven. It is a more brutal era, and one in which ponies find it hard to see how friendship and magic can prevail.

Mysterious portals to a “First World” are appearing all around Equestria. Even worse, there are unknown creatures coming through! When it’s discovered that these creatures are immune to unicorn spells, Twilight comes up with a bold idea to harness earth pony magic to combat the menace. Spike decides he wants some spending money, so he gets a job as an assistant to the local DJ, Vinyl Scratch.

What starts off as a part-time 'errand boy' job, quickly evolves into a close friendship, and may become something more in time. Apparently, they have more in common than they ever would have thought.
