Princess Celestia, tired of the constant pressure that ruling a nation puts on her, decides to take a day off and let Luna take her responsibilities for a day, something the younger alicorn is more than happy to do. She disguises herself as a pink maned pegasus pony named Sunny Skies and decides to go walking around Canterlot without any supervision. Unfortunately for her, not all parts of Canterlot are as safe as the palace, and she finds herself at the wrong end of a gang of muggers, who decide to kidnap her for a ransom when they see how much money she has on her.

It was supposed to be her best trick yet, it was supposed to get her into the Wonderbolts, but due to a miscalculation that causes her to fly wildly of course and into the barn. She was unharmed, but part of the barn landed on Winona, causing her to be severally injured. The vet said that she might not make it. After her accident, she is left grounded in hospital. The doctors tell her about her disorder that renders her wings useless, she doesn't know what to do. The doctors tell her about a operation that 'could' allow her to fly, but if the surgery doesn't go right...she will lose her wings.

Who else but Rainbow would be there, she who she always looked up too. She had always told Scootaloo that she would never leave her side, no matter what. After hearing the details, she offers to donate the things they need for the operation. All she wanted to see is that sweet filly grow up to be an amazing flier.

The dark goddess would love nothing more than to have the beautiful mare all to herself, and the resulting chaos forces Celestia to call a psychologist to sort out Luna's multiple personalities.

Now Octavia has been captured, and Wasp himself is being hunted by both equine enforcement agencies and the hive. He must find a way to save her, even if it means a hundred ponies and changelings must die. But even if he can vanquish his enemies and save his mare, would she be able love the real him, even after he broke her heart before any of this started.
