This story is a sequel to Fanning Our Flames

The Black Knight, an ancient myth with many rumors surrounding it. Some claim he was trained by Nightmare Moon herself as her most powerful servant, others say he is human super soldier created to slay Princess Celestia, some even speak of him as a personification of death. Nevertheless, many ponies have reported sightings of this being throughout history, most of which never amounted to anything.

However, only several months after the return of Nightmare Moon, the fabled knight shows up at the doorsteps of Canterlot Castle for reasons unknown.

And the ponies of Equestria soon discover that the myths associated with him could not be any more wrong...

Scootaloo's life has always been shrouded in mystery. She lives in her house in Ponyville alone. She often disappears with no explanation. And no one's ever seen her parents.
She keeps it that way deliberately. She likes her normal life in Ponyville, and has held on to it as much as she can.
However, a personal tragedy brings family responsibility down on her shoulders, and her life is about to spiral out of control.
Thankfully, she has quite a bit of help keeping both her lives stable - and separate - as much as possible...

Equestria is still recovering from the effects of Discord's tainted tea. The air of calm determination from the princesses has prevented chaos in their panicky pony population. Now is the time to move forward and adapt to these changes, either one's own or those of family, friends and neighbors.

Mostly a bunch of small ideas packed together. Don't expect a solid and compelling storyline.
