This story is a sequel to Midnight's Radiance

Sunset finally has time alone with Shining Armor. Naturally, she's too distracted to take advantage of that, thanks to what everypony's been saying.
She's the one that saved the princesses. The one that saved Equestria. 'Sunset Shimmer the Hero'.
But Sunset, she just wants to change. She wants to become a better friend, and be closer to the ponies important in her life.
So just how is she supposed to do that, if those very same ponies want her to be the hero everypony believes her to be?

Thanks to Cloureed again for the cover!

Liz is a smart girl. She knows what she's doing, with only just enough drive for heroics and exploration to get her into (and out of) trouble. However, no matter how skilled you are you aren't ready for a swarm of unown to rip apart the fabric of reality and throw you into an unusual new world! Thankfully, the natives are understanding and quite helpful.
The issue comes up when her Pokemon team are spread far and wide across Equestria, and don't adapt to their new surroundings quite a readily as their trainer does.

(Pokemon/MLP crossover. Rating of 'Everyone' is pending at this time. If this story proceeds in a way that makes a 'Teen' rating more accurate, I will update it.)

The Equestria Games are the event of the decade. A reason for great celebration. For the Crystal Ponies, it's the very first time they see the Games, and they even get to host them. They are euphoric.
The happiness and light within them powers the Crystal Heart. As the Heart receives more power, its effects get stronger. In particular, the arctic ice around the Empire is pushed back farther than ever before.
And under that ice, something slumbers, something waits. Now, it is uncovered. Now, it awakens.

Yes, I know this story is about an ancient being awakening from thousands of years of slumber. Yes, I know the tags are Dark and Tragedy.
But do you see the tag that's not there? It's the Adventure tag. So, if you're looking for a story where the fate of the world hangs in balance and dark forces bring about a tragic ending, please move along. This is not the story you are looking for.

Just an idea I had a while ago that wouldn't let me go. Will not update frequently, as I only wrote this on whims.
Character tags may be added as the story progresses.
I'm not quite sure if the categories are quite right. If you have any input on that, just tell me.
If you find any grammatical errors, please point them out so I can exterminate them.

The law exists to protect Equestrian citizens, and must be enacted in a fair and even manner. Prince Blueblood knows this; he's accepted punishment for his numerous minor disturbances of the Equestrian legal system, without ever trying to slip out of it.

Fluttershy is in violation the law. Ergo, she must be brought to justice. That's just logic.

Now if only he can get the captain of the guard and his annoyingly lackidasial aunt to cooperate...

Made for the eighth FTP competition. Cover art by hwaho.

This story is a sequel to A Tale of Two Dusks

Dusk Shine has never been particularly interested in making friends. Most of his time has been spent investigating the strange conspiracy theories surrounding Canterlot High, with occasional snark fights with his sister.

However, after meeting Sonata Dusk, he promised to help her out, and he plans to follow through with that promise. But between Dusk's inexperience with the whole "friendship" thing, the mysterious events that tend to occur around Canterlot High School, a pair of sirens who are still on the loose, Sunset's well-meaning but unhelpful friends, a mother who seems intent on welcoming a new member of the family, a bunch of students who are still not quite willing to forgive Sonata, and a girl who sees her as a threat for a very different reason, he feels as if he may have bitten off more than he can chew.

Hopefully he'll figure it out. And maybe even discover something greater than friendship.

Reading A Tale Of Two Dusks is not strictly necessary, but it will be helpful!

Also, a big thanks to Tennis Match Fan for the cover pic, as well as for proofreading!

Trafalgar D. Water Law was a lucky man. Doomed to die at a young age he became a pirate, wishing to only cause misery to those around him. He would eventually become one of the most feared captains on the Grand Line.

It was during his coup against his former leader, Donquixote Doflamingo, that his luck finally ran out.

Fighting a losing battle against the Heavenly Demon, he fell in battle. But, he did not die. No, he instead finds himself in unknown lands surrounded by midget horses and other beasts.

Normally he would approach this situation with the same cold, calculating indifference he usually portrays. He finds himself losing his patience, however, when a creature known as a Changeling decides to follow him around.

Legend has it that on the longest day of the thousandth year, the stars will aid in her escape.

After one-thousand years of being bound in the celestial body, Nightmare Moon is free! Right alongside the poor sap that got bound with her.

Thrust into an unfamiliar world, with scars and memories that are now drastically out of place, this is the story of the former guard captain, Magic Barrier.

Do the words above sound familiar? If they do, then you've probably read my other story, A Pony Displaced. This tale isn't a sequel. It isn't a rewrite, though you might consider it a re-imagining of sorts. It is a tale of progression, one that I hope will show my development as a writer in both skill and quality. But more importantly, it is a story that offers exploration into one simple question. What if Magic Barrier had trotted down another path?

As always, thanks go out to everyone who helped me get to this point. In particular, thank you to Alticron, for editing, proofreading, co-writing, being my idea-wall, and arguably the single biggest reason this story saw the light the day, and thank you to Word Worthy, formerly Izanagi, who also edited, proofread, and threw ideas around with us. It wouldn't be possible without these two. In addition to those two I'd like to thank the newest member of the group Omnicron25 for his efforts in proofing/editing as well. Damn glad to have you on board mate.

Additional thanks to Wing for keeping me company late nights and for being a wordsmith when I needed one.
