Humans had barely been spoken of by Ponykind since hundreds of years ago. The Ponies did not believe in such beasts, not even Princess Celestia who only heard of them in songs and tales of old.

But, the Human race was very old. They were know to be frightening, strong, and ruthless only fighting for what they believed in being true. But, still the ponies did not believe in such a race. Celestia being skeptical did make a promise that if she ever found a nation of human's she would conquer it immediately since the humans are seen as a threat to her ponies. Her skepticism might just pay off as she soon finds out of a nation in the Northern half of the continent near Equestria. Will the humans be able to defend their nation against Celestia's aggression? This is the fanfic based on Astringe's Bad Future series on DeviantART. He did some great designs of the characters, so make sure you give that gallery a peruse before you read the fic.

Also worth mentioning, he's been nice enough to plop any pics he does based on chapters I've written into this separate gallery, so there will be less spoilers for readers just jumping in to the story.

NOTE: The canon of my story picks up at the start of Season 3, where it begins to diverge away from the canon of the show. I've never read the IDW comics nor have I seen Equestria Girls, so the events of my story aren't canon at all with them.

Princess Luna is one night outside when she encounters an strange orb of energy.
When touching it, she is sent to a strange new world, battle-scarred and barren.
The last remains of the once-grand people now lives in underground tunnels, called the Metro.
Here, danger lurks behind every corner, mutated beasts and unknown phenonomenons.

And so, Luna must learn to adapt to the harsh Metro and if nessecary, to kill in order to survive.

Have you ever been on a trip that you really did not want to go on? Well that's how I feel right about now. I'm Edward, just some 23 year old shut-in and I've been dragged along for a boring-ass vacation on some island in the middle of nowhere.

Although, it would seem that my destination would be somewhere very different. While still being in the middle of nowhere, I'm in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of talking colorful horses. What's worse, is I can't even understand a damn thing they are saying; but, oh it gets even better than that; I'm now somehow one of these things.

Before I can even think about getting out of this mess, I'll need to learn how to even walk and talk like one of them, maybe then I can get some answers and hopefully find my way home.

Yuri is living his life in a secluded part of the Moscow metro. That is, until tragedy strikes a neighboring station and Yuri and his friends are forced to undertake a journey through the dangerous metro system.
In Equestria a lone changeling scout is starving in a cold forest and is getting desperate to find a new source of love to help her hive survive.
Friendship can be formed out of necessity. Morals can be bent in the name of survival.

A Russian MVD Spetsnaz team is sent smashing into the ground after the Mil Mi-24 they were in was knocked out of the air. A short time later, the crew and passengers wake up to find themselves in the wreck of the helicopter - but nowhere near Moscow.

As they desperately attempt to find out where they are, they will discover that they are not alone: Other humans have also found themselves in similar situations. However, these disorganized forces may soon be fighting for their survival, against an enemy that they could never have planned for...

The original version of the story, as published 2013-2015, can be found here for those that want to read it as it was. Editing on the original story was done by The Rainbow Brony, and I am thankful for the time that he put into the story to make it better than it would have been otherwise.
