A human wakes up to find that not only has he been altered in species and gender, but that he has also landed halfway across the world from Equestria, in an unfamiliar land.

This is not that story. Not yet, anyway.

A decade in passing and Kaz has gained a reputation as a member of a well-known group of explorers traveling the world. Not once have they set foot on Equestrian soil, and she was content to keep it that way, for her appearance would bring about unwanted attention from a few certain ponies and one certain baby dragon. So what happens when the rest of the group hears of unbelievable tales of Equestria, and decide that it's time they paid a visit?

An impending disaster, that's what.

Jack Andrews is a student training to be a Catholic missionary in Equestria. Lyra Heartstrings is a starving artist trying to make it in Canterlot's music scene. With Lyra's help, Jack is going to introduce the ponies to the joys of Christmas.

Or, if that doesn't work, he'll at least introduce them to the joys of eggnog.

Some time has past since that night with Lyra. You've made some friends, you've found a job, and you're starting to settle into your new home. This is a slice of your life in Equestria.

All of these stories are based on random things I've thought about while watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Where in the show's run they fall into... I honestly haven't decided, nor do I think it really matters. All these 'chapters' are really just short stories that each pick up at some random point from the last. I never thought that this day would come; the day that my dad would finally find someone to be with after being alone for so long. Not only that, but the one that he found, the one that he's decided to spend the rest of his life with, was none other than Princess Celestia.

I do feel happy for Dad, really I do, but I still didn't like the idea of my father getting remarried.

The thing is, though... I have no idea why I feel this way.

This story takes place in a universe where the human and pony worlds are in close contact, and the ponies are anthro in this story.

Misery, one of many of the hybrid daughters, thirsts for knowledge. She wants to know about her mother, and more importantly, what her purpose is. The half of her that isn't human needs answers, and to find them, she has to go to the brightest gem in the Mojave.

Celestia wakes up in human form and at an insane asylum where similarities between the world she is in now and the world of Equestria cause her to wonder if Equestria even exists or if she simply made it up to escape her human life. Does she try to hold on to her memories of her Canterlot life or does she let them go and accept them as nothing more than stories? Who is she going to trust? Who is she anyway?

This is only the beginning...
