Cody Lofton is a 17 year old teenage boy living in the large city of Indianapolis, Indiana where he lives pretty much a normal life of a teenage boy. However, some strange phenomenon happens with the skies turning from sky blue to bright pink. What makes it even more strange is that he discovers a teenage girl lying unconscious in his own yard. What he does next would change his whole life from there on....

Celestia has been having recurring dreams; dreams that she wishes would go away. But they won't, they only increase in their frequency. One night, she gives in and visits that statue in the royal garden. The statue that haunts her sleep. The statue of her one true love, the statue that she made. That night, under the statue, she remembers the day they first met.

As the walls close in on a haunted young woman, a man offers to grant her one wish. In exchange, she must become a pawn in game that has no end in sight and make her mark on this strange new yet familiar world. On her way she meets old friends, new friends and a chance confront her past.

The Elements of Disharmony have been discovered. As they choose their new masters, it is a race against time to find the wielders before they discover their Elements, or the safe streets of Canterlot will erupt into a full-blown war between the masters of Harmony and Disharmony. However, it will not be that simple. Somepony is working behind the scenes; somepony is pulling at the strings of the Elements of Harmony and Disharmony alike. Who is this certain somepony? Twilight Sparkle is summoned to Canterlot to find out, where Princess Luna and a group of scholars are studying the Elements that they have found.

A storm is coming to Equestria...a storm that, when it hits, could destroy everything in its path.

Sequel to The Shadowed Nightmare. If you have not read that, what happened in that story should become apparent as you read this one--though if you want to go read it, by all means go ahead. My personal/"ponysona" OC will not be a character in this story, although this story includes the original villains The Shadow and Puzzle Master from The Shadowed Nightmare.

UPDATE May 6, 2013 (Geez, I've been working on this for a long time...but don't worry; I haven't abandoned it): Yeeaah, it's been a few months since I've seen any activity from Youkaiyami, so....welp. So much for the whole cover art thing. :( ah well.
UPDATE May 13, 2013: Next chapter will be released May 27, and from then on new chapters will be added much more often.
UPDATE November 29, 2013: The final chapter will be released at the end of next week at the absolute latest. Also, since I am going to submit this story to EqD, I will be revising some of the earlier chapters to fix some basic writing mistakes and flesh out the scenes with better descriptive imagery.

UPDATE February 18, 2024: Haha, okay, so it turns out that I may have slightly overpromised when I wrote the previous update a decade ago. Best I can do for now is quote Douglas Adams: “I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by!” I plan to finish on chapter 20. Hopefully this time I can make the wait a little shorter.

He lived with his aunt till he was 20, when he moved out to live on his own. Bored and lonely, he fills his life with psycho girls from his neighborhood and video games. But one night everything he knew is sent for a loop when he learns about a forgotten blood relative from the wild west, and a beautiful Southern Belle drops out of the sky. With everything changing so fast, more and more problems arise for Jay and this mystery girl as they try to find some clue to where her missing friend is and get the country beauty back home.

Consequences of our actions are often unforeseen. Some are harmless, some are fatal. Some are temporary, some are permanent. And then we have these.

When Rarity decides to perform a little wizardry, it should come as no surprise that things do not go as planned. One thing leads to another, and Rainbow Dash ends up with a stallion that looks, acts, and thinks like her to deal with. Will hilarity ensue? Will relationships form? Discord had one last trick up his sleeve to play before being locked up again: he's turned Equestria's timeless protector into its most dangerous threat. The kindhearted princess that ponies loved and adored is gone, replaced by an alicorn of iron and blood that forged Equestria out of the fires of pre-history.

Can Twilight Sparkle survive being the student of a pony who never had need of the magic of friendship or will she be forced to sit on the sidelines as Equestria irrevocably changes around her?
