Vinyl Scratch and her brother Long Play were traveling back home from a concert in Canterlot, the first that Vinyl had ever attended. Pure serendipity facilitated these pairs' first meeting.

My name’s Marcus. Marcus Cortez. I’m currently a freshman at CUFTA. You don’t know what that means? Well, it stands for “Canterlot University for the Arts.” While it is a little unsettling to go to college in a completely different world from my own, and while being a human in a school full of mostly ponies is a little intimidating, I’m doing fine so far. I don’t have to worry about roommates, since I don’t live in a dorm. I live with my aunt.

Her name is Celestia. Princess Celestia.

You’re probably wondering how a human could be the nephew of a pony, and an alicorn princess, no less. Well, it’s quite the story.

In case you haven't guessed yet this is an anthro story, and my first time writing a story in first person, so we'll see how this goes.

The prologue for this story starts sixteen years prior to the return of Nightmare Moon and the story's main events take place after Season 3 ends.

My first attempt at a multichapter story. Celestia has been requested a lot of times for a heartwarming moment but as soon as I began, I realized something. I wasn't able to make a one shot out of it without breaking the story. Because of that, this will be the first story I've written with more than one chapter.

I have no idea how long it will be and chapters will probably be posted once every week.

After having a strange dream for years, Celestia has joined her guards in nearly every expedition to deal with strange occurrences. The dream had something fall from the sky, and it looked like something was inside the ball of fire, and it was alive. After heading to the Everfree, a blinding flash hits them, and then something crashes in the trees nearby. What is seen inside the fireball looked alive. Celestia and her guards are attacked, and something that is near death because of wounds stands between them. After the battle, Celestia takes this thing back to Canterlot, and her doctors take care of him. What lies in wait for this new creature in this world? Come and find out,
