Scootaloo, Applebloom, and Sweetie Bell want to take the Cutie Mark Crusaders global. Fortunately for them, a newfound method of swindling raising money is going to help them do just that.

After receiving several complaints from the townsfolk regarding this very method, Twilight Sparkle decides to investigate.

The forest was a silent one, one that had experienced the joys of nature. For years and years, it survived, but the noises died out. One could walk for hours in the vast forest without encountering a single soul. For what purpose is there in a place of pure peace? Everything else had come and gone, all that was left were plants, sunlight, sky... And, one single person deep within the woods where even had there been people, none would have ever come.

When the time came, that person knew there was nothing left for her in the world and sent her prayers to the forest itself. To the trees they went, through the roots, through the ground, and out deep into the very world itself. The world was not alive, not as one would see it, but the silence in it allowed the prayer to be heard as piercing cry.

So it was, that for the first time since the very dawn of time, a prayer was answered. The Final Prayer was answered and the last one departed from a silenced world.

It has been nearly sixty years since humanity witnessed the devastation of a World War, or any other kind of large-scale conflict. Equestria's abstinence has been even longer, with battles that rage across the entire land not being seen for centuries. Though both have seen their share of small-scale skirmishes, a duel of total annihilation across a large scale has been avoided by both sides time and again.

But peace is never lasting. For both sides, it lies on a cliff, requiring only one good push to send the participants into a plunge of death. Equestria's unexpected appearance may turn into that final push, as alliances, deception, and distrust threaten to launch a conflict that will lead both worlds to utter ruin.

Trixie and Starlight are best friends. There's not doubt about that. So, when Starlight gets a boyfriend, Trixie isn't sure how to take the news. In fact, she's quite distraught by it.

So, in an effort to show Starlight that she's just as capable at finding love as she is, Trixie decides to take the most logical course of action and get her very own boyfriend. A foolproof plan, to be sure.

However, the real reason behind her actions is quite a different story.

Sunset Shimmer doesn't ask for much. She has great friends, a good life, good grades, and has even made peace with her mentor, Princess Celestia. Everything else, she works. for, and she's happy to do it. Including the forgiveness of her fellow students.

Deciding that the best way to make up for her mistakes with the student body, especially those of the last Fall Formal, is to take this year's Formal into her own hands, she applies for the position as Chairman of the Planning Committee. Unfortunately, it seems that some of the teachers haven't forgiven her, either. So they decide that, if she truly wishes to make up for her mistakes, she must do so by working with a member of the student council, it's Sergeant at Arms, as co-Chairman.
