Octavia Philharmonica is a desperate mare. Faced with the possibility of being evicted from her apartment for inability to pay rent she decides to take a temporary job at a local nightclub. Of course, she's never set hoof in a club before and has no idea what she's getting involved in . . .

The friends we take for granted are often the ones that leave the largest impact on our lives. When Spike falls seriously ill with a mysterious disease and the ponies strive to nurse him back to health, Twilight Sparkle comes to grips with this very realization about her number one assistant--and friend.

Twilight always thought that being able to send the Princess her letters instantaneously through Spike's fire breath was the best thing in the world. Instant correspondence with her mentor and secret crush could never be a bad thing, right? Unfortunately, Twilight has a habit of writing her secrets down on flammable materials. Now her secret's out, so what's a panicky unicorn to do? Panic, obviously!

Clay has always looked up to his mother Rainbow Dash, even though they aren't related by blood. Yet he can't help but feel that he could only truly belong with her if he was a pegasus instead of an earth pony. Clays obsession with wanting to fly will send him on a journy he never thought possible and teach him that family doesn't have to be blood deep.

This is my first fanfic, give advice and critacism, but please go easy.

One day he gets his chance via a strange occurrence after his shift which then lands him in the world of equestria. On a completely different world far from home, he must adapt to the change in the environment, and the changes happening to himself turning him into something far better than a human. Not only must he do this, but he must earn the trust of Equestria and all who reside within this mystical land but he must do so before it falls under the shadow of Phobos, an ancient evil that feeds upon and uses fear itself.
